Citizen = Serf

I have thought for a while that “citizen” has become synonymous with “serf” or “slave.”  Citizens do the producing and paying, yet the ruling class vilifies them.  They support the indolent through the forcible extraction of tax dollars while watching sheepishly as the fascists erode our freedoms.  Our ruling class has no respect for the productive part of our society as they pander to the unproductive parts. Through forcibly extracted taxes, we pay for every woke, Leftist, Marxist, Communist, and Racist policy dreamed up by the ruling class. Just look at the travesty I refer to as the Inflation Exacerbation Act for a woke wish list of useless spending! The ruling class spends our money with seeming impunity, and when they run out of money, they raise taxes some more. Every day there are new revelations of politicians and unaccountable federal bureaucrats encroaching on more and more of our rights. The pathological lies from the global epicenter of stupid put 1984 to shame. There was once a time when politicians tried to hide their fascism and attacks on the Constitution. Now they do it right out in the open with the willing conspiracy of the media propagandists.

The one lever we deplorable “citizens” had over our overlords, invaders, and unproductive consumers of our wealth is that we could vote, but in Communist jurisdictions across the Disunited States, they are allowing illegal immigrants to vote! And even in places where illegals cannot vote, the election process is tainted, and frequently the results are untrustworthy. We are allowing Leftist groups to spend billions of dollars to influence and run public elections.

In the 1970s, the Leftists decided how much water you could have in your toilets. Under Obama, they mandated that you buy health insurance you didn’t want or pay a fine. Earlier this year, Democrats threatened to ban gas stoves based on a single, spurious, unsupported report that is easily debunked if you have three brain cells and look at other data. Earlier this week, Democrats made noise about limiting the amount of water you could have in your clothes washer. We used to say, “keep the government out of my bedroom.” Now we serfs need to keep the government out of every room in our house: bedroom, kitchen, laundry room, and bathroom. Is there a limit to the fascist meddling by the Federal government? Will the Governors stand up and protect us from the increasingly overreaching feds? I fear the answer is “no.”

The left and the media called Trump a fascist; however, the real fascists are currently in power.

Our freedom of speech was violated when the IRS targeted conservative advocacy groups at the direction of Lois Lerner. The FBI kicked it up a notch when it assigned agents to work with Twitter to censor inconvenient opinions about the 2020 election and COVID protocols.

Our right to be free from unreasonable search and seizure was violated when the FBI obtained travel information from Bank of America – not to investigate a crime – but to look for one. In another case, the FBI fabricated evidence to obtain a FISA warrant against Trump campaign official Carter Page – attempting to undermine the peaceful transition of power.

Our right to freedom of religion was attacked when the FBI placed assets in the Catholic church, looking for pro-life domestic terrorists, when no crime had even been committed.

Freedom of the press was disregarded when the FBI raided the homes of Project Veritas reporters, in search of Ashley Biden’s diary. Ashley hadn’t even admitted that the diary was hers, there was no evidence that it was stolen, and Project Veritas had even offered to give it to the FBI. They chose to use an armed raid instead.

Yet none of the officials involved in these violations have faced charges with the “color of law” statute. Why is that? It’s because the authority to prosecute violations of the statute is granted to the DOJ, and the investigation of infractions is the sole domain of the FBI (28 U.S.C § 533). For the law to work at the federal level, agents who investigated parents for protesting at school boards, would only face prosecution if the guy (Merrick Garland) who sent them to do it, decided to prosecute them. That’s the conundrum. Enforcement at the federal level is in the hands of the worst offenders.

While the unaccountable federal bureaucrats encroach on our rights, the propaganda arm of the Democrat party (a.k.a., “mainstream media”) abrogates their responsibility to keep them accountable. (Be careful about calls for term limits on Congressmen that only give more power to unaccountable federal bureaucrats.)

Increasingly we see federal bureaucrats, intelligence agencies, and so-called law enforcement organizations turning to third-party “cutouts” to circumvent constitutional protections. The Left has been unsuccessful at banning firearms at the Federal level, so the globalists and the fascists in DC created a new charge card code to track legal firearms purchases. Communist Senators Elizabeth Warren and Bob Mendez wrote a letter to the Department of Treasury that stated,

“We urge Treasury and DOJ to quickly publish any policy advisory, enforcement guidance, and other materials needed by financial institutions, retailers, and law enforcement as the new MCC code is implemented for gun and ammunition stores. … We also ask Treasury, with input from the DOJ, to issue guidance to financial institutions regarding circumstances that should prompt financial firms to file a suspicious activity report about transactions they suspect are related to trafficking in firearms, money laundering proceeds from trafficking in firearms, or other criminal activity.”

Soon the feds will gather illegal national lists of legal gun owners by collecting them from credit card companies. Intelligence agencies that cannot collect information on US citizens routinely purchase that information from private companies.

We have several justice systems, and those who work and pay taxes are the least protected by our overlords. The rich and powerful are not held to the same standard as the “deplorables.” If we had one justice system applied equally to all as required by the Constitution, every ex-President would be in jail for willfully or negligently handling classified information. In places I’ve worked, such as the No Such Agency, people have been imprisoned for a single document; however, ex-Presidents and Congressmen are exempt from that law. Can anyone imagine a greater security risk to the nation than a politician with access to classified materials?

Red State reported that the Department of Injustice was caught hiding evidence of domestic censorship activities:

By now, it should not surprise you to learn that a federal intelligence agency is trying to cover up evidence showing that they are working to censor free speech. The past decade has shown us that the federal government has no qualms with trying to use its power to shape public opinion – especially through censorship.

This time, it is the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that was reportedly caught trying to conceal its role in squashing certain political views on Big Tech platforms. Fox News reported:

A federal agency in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that’s been scrutinized for what critics argue is suppression of dissenting political views under the guise of combating disinformation now appears to be “burying” evidence of its alleged censorship, experts and watchdog groups say.

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, or CISA, has come under fire for working with Big Tech companies to flag and take down social media posts related to elections, COVID vaccines, and a range of other issues that were deemed mis-, dis-, and malinformation (MDM).

Mike Benz, executive director of the Foundation for Freedom Online, told Fox News his research found that CISA has attempted to hide its involvement in suppressing opinions posted on social media by Americans. The agency’s MDM webpage discusses “foreign influence operations and disinformation … targeting election infrastructure.” It says nothing of focusing on domestic activity.

The recent release of 40,000 hours of video from January 6^th has shown that the Injustice Department and Congress deliberately suppressed exculpatory evidence against the supposed insurgents. Does that indicate that we have one standard of justice?

Again as John Green pointed out:

There is no greater form of government overreach than federal officials, using the power of their offices to violate our Constitutionally protected rights. Fortunately, there’s already a statute that criminalizes such actions. Its title is: MISCONDUCT BY LAW ENFORCEMENT & OTHER GOVERNMENT ACTORS — Deprivation of Rights Under Color of Law (18 U.S.C. § 242). I’ll refer to it as the “color of law” statute for brevity. It reads:

This provision makes it a crime for someone acting under color of law to willfully deprive a person of a right or privilege protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States. The “color of law” statute imposes sentences, up to and including life imprisonment or death, depending on the severity of the infraction. Violations of a person’s rights is serious business – as it should be.

How many federal bureaucrats do we expect to see imprisoned – or even just fired – for willfully violating the law and encroaching on our rights? I expect that is a negative number. Some will be promoted.

The mantra of Biden’s puppet masters: Disarm law-abiding citizens while letting criminals back on the streets. After Biden’s gun speech last week, the NRA rightly asserted that Biden and the rest of the politicians that the fascists in DC should stop trying to disarm and destroy the productive, law-abiding, tax-paying part of our society and worry more about how to reign in the wave of crime and violence that Blue soft-on-crime policies have created. We tax-paying serfs have even fewer rights than criminals. Recall the shop owner in New York who was imprisoned for defending himself and his property from bandits who had been set free numerous times. Can you believe that we have one justice system for all?

No one doubts that legitimate criminal activity for a couple of hours on the 6^th of January should be punished; by the same logic we should object to no prosecutions for the BLM and Antifa thuggery for an entire summer.

The government CREATED the rampant inflation that punishes working-class Americans and those on fixed incomes. Will they be held accountable? Not a chance.

With the willing acquiescence of our elected “representatives,” unaccountable bureaucrats have hired 87,000 armed IRS thugs to persecute taxpayers. This came on the heels of recent changes that require people to report more than $600 in transactions on eBay or Etsy. The collapse of Silicon Valley Bank is being used as an excuse to push toward digital currencies. It is easy to believe that the fascists in DC and elsewhere want to get rid of cash so that they can monitor every transaction you make.  Recall that Bank of America “voluntarily” mined their credit card data for people who legally purchased guns and happened to be near DC on January 6th.  They gave this information to the FBI, which tried to force local field offices to go after those folks merely for having stayed in a hotel near DC and having purchased a firearm legally.

Government insight into our every business transaction moves us more and more toward serfdom.

Not content to push around, persecute, and rob individual serfs, the feds are now pushing woke DEI requirements onto businesses that will make them less productive and profitable. As hyper-woke companies like Target dismiss much of their DEI staff as counterproductive, the feds are “doubling down.” Federal Trade Commission director Lina Khan is an example of an unaccountable federal bureaucrat creating and enforcing woke and Leftist policies:

Khan is an architect of a far-left movement that blames American businesses for problems that the government directly causes or exacerbates. Paying nearly 5 bucks a gallon for gas? Must be corporate greed. Can’t afford to put food on the table? Blame your money-grubbing grocer, not inflation caused by reckless Democrat spending.

Khan wants to “solve” these problems by threatening companies with antitrust action if they do not bend to her will. Khan has blasted the free market as a “product of metaphysical forces,” and said the government does not do enough to shape “economic outcomes.” Khan’s deputy Rebecca Slaughter has gone further, calling for a “diversity, equity, and anti-racist” antitrust agenda. These are clear signals to the business community – go woke, or we’ll make you go broke.

A friend sent me this “joke” recently, and I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

A Russian arrives in New York City as a new immigrant to the United States. It’s 11:00 AM on a Wednesday.

He stops the first person he sees walking down the street and says, “Thank you Mr. American for letting me come into this country, giving me housing, food stamps, free medical care, and a free education!”

The passerby says, “You are mistaken, I am a Mexican and here illegally.”

The man goes on and encounters another passerby. “Thank you for having such a beautiful country here in America.”

The person says, “I am not American. I am Vietnamese and here on a Green Card that expired two years ago.”

The new arrival walks farther and stops the next person he sees, then shaking his hand, and says, “Thank you for wonderful America!” That person puts up his hand and says, “I am from the Middle East. I am not American. It was easy to get here via Arizona.”

He finally sees a nice lady and asks, “Are you an American?”

She says, “No, I am from Africa here on an Education Green Card that expired ten years ago.”

Puzzled, he asks her, “Where are all the Americans?”

The African lady checks her watch and says: “Probably at work.” 

We citizen serfs must work to pay for health care but give it to illegal immigrants for free. We must work to feed our families, but illegal immigrants, indolent, and the willfully homeless get food for free. We must pay our debts and suffer the results of poor choices while paying for woke leftists to get worthless college degrees. People who have never held slaves get to pay reparations to people who have never been slaves. We get to pay politicians to jet around the world at taxpayer expense, but we must save for years to afford a family vacation. We must endure being locked in our homes while politicians enjoy meals in public restaurants. We are told not to see our family for Thanksgiving while our masters visit theirs. Those who worked during the unconstitutional COVID lockdowns are forced to pay living expenses for those who didn’t. Small business owners (frequently conservatives because they live in the real world) were put out of business, but large corporations (who pay large campaign contributions and act as PACs) remained open. We are told that some woke teacher or faceless bureaucrat can decide to change the sex of your child, but parents do not have a right to object. We are told we have free speech if we say what the ruling junta approves. Doing otherwise makes you an enemy of “our democracy.” We have freedom of religion if it is not Judaism or Christianity. We were denied religious freedom because churches were closed while casinos remained open. We are told we must pander to the woke delusions of a male pretending to be a female to get into female locker rooms to deprive female athletes of opportunities. If you object, you are an enemy of the state. We are told we may not exercise our Constitutional right to bear arms to protect ourselves and our families, but the ruling class is allowed to have armed guards to protect them from us. We are told that we must not complain about crime, but it is okay for a mugged politician to complain. We are told that rape, murder, arson, and vandalism are “peaceful” if the cause is woke, but protesting against woke and Leftist ideas is insurrection and a threat to democracy. We are told that Ukraine’s border is sacrosanct, but ours is racist, that Russians killing Ukrainians is terrible, but drug cartels killing Americans is not so bad.

We “citizens” do not have access to the same justice system as criminals or politicians (but I am being redundant). Congressmen have separate and unequal retirement and medical benefits for free that are better than those of the serfs. And many in Congress have used insider knowledge to make a fortune in the capitalistic stock market, which they also say is part of systemic racism that government must fix using its power to force ESG investing, etc. on businesses and public and private investments. Profligate spending has created inflation that robs wealth from the deplorables who do the working, living, and dying to support the ruling class. The ruling class behaves as if we citizen serfs are on the planet to support them rather than them representing our interests. They tell us that in many jurisdictions, you have no choice over what school your kids attend, and if you object to what is being taught, you are a domestic terrorist. Unaccountable federal bureaucrats rob us to support the indolent or a host of woke pet projects without our ability to object. If you object, that makes you some kind of “ist.” Due to billions of dollars of foreign leftist money, our ability to influence who our taskmasters are has been diminished. Those of us who work hard and obtain some modicum of success must surrender our rights, children, and wealth to the “state.”

That sounds like servitude to me.
