The Biden-Trump Debate wasn’t anywhere up to the level of Lincoln-Douglas Debates, but it was historic. It was an historic debacle, giant gaffe, for the Biden campaign. It was an historic reveal of very public partisan lies – especially by the media. It will be an historic turning point if Biden gets swapped out as nominee. It confirmed, again, today’s low bar to be a winning Presidential candidate with Trump’s childish, self-absorbed prattle.
The visuals of Biden being himself – an infirm, declining, old man – were stunning. Even for folks who’ve known it since he hid in his basement throughout the 2020 election. Once the initial shock is over the questions come fast.
Will Biden Remain the Democrat Candidate? Maybe. The Chattering Class of pols and pundits speculate on the alternatives, but fewer people than you have fingers will decide. Joe, his wife – Lady MacBeth, their most trusted personal advisors, Obama’s Supreme Soviet and Iman Inc., the Clinton Crime Syndicate, and, amusingly, Kamala “Giggles” Harris from a very junior, subordinate position.
The Bidens have to have a plan that keeps their whole family out of jail. Their foreign influence peddling would bring significant time in the slammer and the loss of wealth. Political power is the only grift they have.
Plan A is do nothing and ride it out. Plan B is step down before the Convention. Plan C is activate the 25th Amendment to have the VP step up to run or be replaced at the Convention.
Plans B and C beg the question: Who will be the candidate? Only the Bidens, Obamas, and Clintons know.
Was the Debacle Planned? Maybe. Either some kind of Obama/Clinton Cabal knew the debacle would lead to the denouement of Biden’s political career or in the hubris of power, Jill Biden (Doctor Jill, dammit, to you deplorables) and her minions thought they could pull off another scam. The quick change in mantras from the media – immediately after the debate – suggest pre-planning. Perhaps all camps agreed for different reasons to the debate plan.
Who Is Actually Making Presidential Decisions? No clue. This is something good historians with the right security clearances and access should be able to put together about 10 years from now – assuming China doesn’t nuke us into oblivion before then. At some point, unlike the lingering secrecy around the Kennedy assassination, names should be named. Who is really the President of these United States?
Can Biden Still Win? Absolutely, Yes. Before Biden was filmed in multiple, meme-ready, Zombie moments, the “cheat” in legal and illegal ballot harvesting was a simple math problem.
Take Virginia: let’s say Biden was polling at 47% beforehand. He needed 3% and one to win the Commonwealth. So, one per cent of the voters (70% turnout from 6.2m registered voters = 4.34m) is about 43k. Three times that is 129k votes collected by paid workers for the win.
If the babbling Biden flips just 2% of the voters, then the Commie Dems have to gather another 96k votes and bank them.
As the polls settle by Labor Day, the math problem gets clearer. The exact X per cent (= Y votes) can be calculated and rounded up.
This was true in 2016. But, the Dem Commies under calculated the votes needed to win. Trump’s sweep of WI, MI, and PA was a shocker to the pollsters, the pols, and above all to HRH Hillary 1st.
The fact that Biden remains, as he was in his pre-Walking Dead appearance, so neck-and-neck with Trump indicates how terribly weak Trump is as a candidate and how high Trump’s negatives are across America. Especially among independents. It’ll get worse with more guilty verdicts – regardless of the feckless nature of the lawfare winning them.
Who Will Be Held Accountable? No one. The truth is disgusting. The self-incriminating video clips and social media posts can be flashed up on screens over and over, but to no avail. There is no mechanism other than consumers choosing to use (buy) one media source over another and voters casting their ballots. Consequently, accountability is highly unlikely.
The most consequential accountability will be every party primary from now through 2028. Keep electing the same fools or find, recruit, and elect Movement Conservatives well-credentialed to serve the public trust in elected, political offices. From school board, actually – especially for school boards, to city and county, to state, to federal office.
