If Donald Trump pulls off a successful campaign for president in 2024, it would be the greatest comeback in American political history. Never mind defeating the Biden Administration ongoing lawfare against his candidacy.
He would do so notwithstanding the lingering Russia, Russia, Russia and Pee Pee Tape hoax scandals paid for by his political opponent in the recent past that many Americans-nearly half of the electorate-swallowed like a big old hungry bass feasting on a fat, juicy worm in the morning dawn, too enticing to pass up.
The Obama administration-aided by corrupt CIA, FBI, DNI, DOJ officials and a swampy court system-illegally targeted Trump’s entire orbit through misuse and abuse of the FISA courts, as well as our allies represented by the Five Eyes (Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain and the US.)
Many somewhat “little or peripheral” actors were hurt in these scams. Think of Papadopoulos in his mid-20s being set up by deep state actors. He was paid 10K in cash for his “expertise” for a dubious-obvious setup action-overseas and yet had the presence of mind to leave that money in place. Which must have been a tremendous disappointment to the FBI agents who met him upon return to the US and found no egregious money laundering scheme to pin on him. Of course, being the slimy deep state swamp outfit they are, the FBI found other “matters” to charge him with.
Carter Page, Paul Manafort, Roger Stone, Michael Flynn-the list is long and shocking to go through in consideration of what little they were charged with and how our top law enforcement agencies leveraged these activities to gain NSA “two hop” surveillance-spying-against Trump. Which continued after he became the nominee and right on through most of his presidency with the Mueller investigation.
James Comey lied to the President of the United States over whether he was a suspect in these matters: the director of the FBI lying to our president.
If Trump is successful in 2024, it would be the greatest political comeback in American history.
There is a variation of another potential great political comeback for the 2024 election, and it involves someone who is not a candidate, but has proven to be a terrible campaigner who always seems to bring out the best in her opponents.
Were she to somehow enter the race as an add-on candidate because of the doddering, embarrassing and tanking sentiment about President Biden, her mere appearance on the ballot would already be a great achievement-a return from the proverbial wilderness she has been banished to these last 8 years.
Of course I’m referring to Hillary Rodham Clinton (HRC.) Now-granted-any whom I’ve mentioned this variation to have been dismissive to the point of advising me to think about a sanity check or urinalysis.
But just consider what has changed about the 2024 election. Is Joe Biden dumber, sloppier, more unable to communicate and -frankly-move under his own power than-say-two years ago? I think not.
Has he done better with foreign policy decisions in the last several years than the abysmal record Robert Gates credited him with over the last four decades? Puhlease.
Has he been less of a liar, aggrandizer, dullard, dimwit than he displayed in any of his campaigns over the last 30 years? I don’t think so Vern.
When did it become OK for the LSMBTGA to go from pretending like this sorry state of affairs was a product of “republicans pounce” in observing this-to reporting on it-to call into question his fitness for office?
Well-of course-it became OK as the lawfare efforts have each somewhat ground to a halt, self-neutering, exposed for the travesty each in turn represented in a corrupt system with a corrupt DOJ and a willingness for state AGs to prostitute themselves in feckless efforts to get the Bad Orange Man.
Willing and over eager political coyotes attempting to prove their mettle. Believing they could trip up roadrunner Trump where others have failed, while failing miserably-spectacularly-and publicly.
That’s not the only data point that turned the spotlight on Biden. The LSMBTGA has suddenly been neutered by the polls that increasingly undermine the narrative they have been pushing for several years now on the “populist” presidency of Joe Biden.
It is now OK to say the quiet part out loud, which in Army vernacular, sounds like “he ain’t right.”
The LSMBTGA has suddenly found voice-outrage-at being lied to about the state of Biden’s health, actions and inability to express cogent and coherent thoughts.
Keep in mind, this is the same LSMBTGA that Obama lied to via the narrative manipulations of Ben Rhodes. He found witting dupes, fed them administration lies, and then bragged about creating an echo chamber to carry “their” message. And the same LSMBTGA was “proud” to carry those lies to the people.
But not-apparently-anymore.
The democrat party is-if anything-the Stepford Wives Club for politicians. Nobody closes ranks quicker-and tighter-than democrats. Think back to the Clinton impeachment. How quickly did the democrats pivot from “problems with an overzealous prosecutor” to the “it’s a personal matter” narrative?
The answer is near immediately, and it saved Clinton’s hide. He was guilty as hell, he was fined and disbarred for his actions, but his presidency survived his teenage impulses.
Any casual search into the matter is dominated by Monica Lewinsky and peripheral actors, but the bottom-line problem was he lied under oath to a special council, and he paid the price for it: but there were no charges brought for having sex with Monica Lewinsky in the people’s house/office. And team Clinton-led by HRC-absolutely smeared Clinton’s subordinate Lewinsky.
In fact-Clinton’s chutzpah laden testimony was that he was not involved in a sexual activity at all, as the act that was done did not involve his active participation (and I always think it important to pause and consider that idea-imagine sitting there taking the deposition-and having to stifle the “that’s what you got???-Were you in fact sexually abused or raped, Mr. President? Is that your testimony???”)
And-yes-we elected that man to the presidency. It was an argument akin to a wide receiver who dropped the winning touchdown offering up that he was “not involved in the decision to make the attempted pass:” but you dropped it…
Getting back to my concern, how does HRC fit into this Kabuki Dance with Biden? This is where it gets interesting.
Campaigning is a lot of things, but the bottom line is to come up with a set list of responses to the issues of the day. Identify some answers to the problems that polls show people are most concerned about, identify a few chinks (double entendre notwithstanding) in the armor of your opponent, and ride those ponies straight and true to the finish line.
Which candidate has followed this type of prescription to a tee and continuously hammers each element of these themes?
Regardless of which candidate you think has done so, the polls show all momentum on Trump’s side and no enthusiasm for democrats who have been trying to do the Stepford thing, while simply ignoring polls they don’t like.
This is playing out as we speak. Some 81% of Americans want some type of verification system through identification that you are an US citizen before you are allowed to vote. The democrats have basically said “phffft” and “pshaw,” we know better-its already illegal for non-citizens to vote, and thus have refused to support such an initiative.
So the problem for the dems right now is it has become OK for people to shine the spotlight on their candidate, and the view is Frankenstein-like without the humor.
Why revive HRC? Well number one, there is going to have to be some type of compromise and solution as Biden just basically becomes non-ambulatory and totally incoherent heading into Nov 2024.
Number two is Harris is a total liability on the ticket and there is no possibility she can shoulder the burden of stepping into Biden’s shoes. My personal opinion is that the pressure would crush her feeble brain like a soda can under a cement truck.
So what are the dems to do? They are going to close ranks on the only solution available in the time left to the election. They will support Biden, but when (not if) he becomes simply incapable of carrying the water-any water-as president, Harris is going to carry the water for democrat operatives who are going to push the 25th Amendment-in private-and blackmail/bribe the Bidens with money, family pardons, prestigious posts for family, and immunity for everything.
They will likely have a “constitutional scholar” in the wings to help promulgate the sad news. Who should they look for who will be the messenger of darkness? Former Presidents Obama and Clinton.
Harris steps up as President nominee, HRC slides in as VP. New energy is injected into the campaign. Girl power will reign supreme. They have two of the most popular presidents in the modern era as senior advisors-Obama and Clinton.
HRC has already won the popular vote for president-and she can speak black if she needs to (whereas Harris is challenged in that regard, not being black.)
What could go wrong? Well, Harris is one of the worst presidential candidates in the modern era. She is likely the worst VP of any era-everything she touches turns to shinola. She is not likeable and is incoherent, bordering on “simpdom,” while cackling like some crackhead loon and offering platitudes-repeatedly-that she seems to think mark her as a deep thinker.
I think this video exemplifies her liabilities, including poor judgement, amateur hour political skills and that sappy, silly, vapid communications style that conjures up that “oh, honey, no” response.
This occurred after she took over leadership of the space council. It was billed as a dialogue with tech savvy school children-showing she can relate to them-demonstrating her grasp of the space, “space.” The biggest problem is this whole thing was a charade. These are child actors selected specifically for the video, and Harris comes across as the dimmest bulb in the pack.
This one is worse -in my judgement- because she is so proud of this line that she has made it somewhat of the centerpiece of her speech, which is incoherent to the point of pain-cringe-wonderment-puzzlement-delusion-numbness.
If I start to outline the liabilities that come with HRC, we are gonna need a room.
Why would Clinton and Obama do such a thing-supporting these two who literally bring nothing to the table? The dems are absolutely desperate at this point. They will do anything to beat Trump-and so will their supporters.
This is all about money, power, agendas, money and power. Politics in the 21st century, where strange bedfellows are the norm and Stepford Wives dominate through commonality.
We will witness the greatest political comeback in American history in 2024: it just may not be the one you want.
