Watch a Democrat candidate’s campaign speech. Look at the political signs in the audience. Read their campaign postcards. What do Democrat candidates stand for this year?
Abortion.
It’s their primary issue, the one thing they are certain they have going for them. There are some demographic groups that seem to care about nothing else.
So the Democrats hammer the point home. You want abortion on demand? Taxpayer funded? Without even having to notify the girl’s parents? Without even having to notify the girl’s boyfriend or husband? Through all nine months, all the way to the moment of birth, or maybe beyond?
Then vote Democrat. Just like that grateful mom will.
Well. Perhaps we shouldn’t call her a mom.
Anyway, vote Democrat. Abortion is the issue. The Democrats’ issue.
They own it. Just as the abortion industry owns them.
But that’s not their only issue. Don’t think it’s that simple. They have others.
Watch the news. See the video footage on the internet of our southern border.
Illegal immigration is big for the Democrats too. Democrats have controlled the federal bureaucracy for four years now. As soon as they arrived, they dismantled walls that President Trump built. They cancelled President Trump’s program that kept them on the Mexican side of the border until their papers were processed, the program that ensured that new arrivals claiming refugee status would be processed first so they didn’t just flow in here by the tens of millions, untrackable and undeserving.
The Biden-Harris regime even started paying for planes to pick them up in Central and South America and fly them into the USA.
And the ones who crossed over on their own – illegally, of course, all of them illegally – the Democrats made sure the federal government paid for their transportation into the USA, by bus or plane. And their hotel rooms, to the tune of billions of dollars. And their food, and schooling, and clothing, and healthcare.
You know all the welfare programs that American citizens have to carefully apply for – their personal needs being measured against their right to make their fellow American taxpayers fund their lives as well as their own – well, all these programs are given to the illegal aliens now, without question or pause.
In many cases, over these past four year, these illegal aliens have stayed in fancier hotels than 80% of American citizens have ever been able to afford to stay in.
But nothing’s too good for our illegals. They’ll be voting Democrat someday. It’s a matter of principle.
Oh, but don’t make too much of this. It’s not that they love all immigrants, you see. They’d like you to think they do, but it’s only the illegals they really like.
There are millions of people all over the world who want to be legal immigrants, who file their papers at our embassies and wait their turn, year after year, looking forward to the day when they can join you and me as legal U.S. residents, and eventually citizens of this nation, legally.
How do Democrats view them?
Well, the Democrats enable the corrupt hordes to leapfrog past those legal applicants. Venezuela or Cuba throws open the prison doors, and our Democrats welcome in those migrants by the busload. Middle eastern terror networks fly islamists into Central America to blend in with the caravans and invade that way; the Democrats welcome them in. The drug cartels and human traffickers send their operatives over the border, and they’re welcomed as well.
You might not expect it, but the Democrats love these kinds of “immigrants.”
So vote Democrat. For the gate-crashers.
And don’t forget the poor. Watch the evening news, or listen to the radio and the cable reports. Pay attention to the police blotter. Now, there’s a group to which the Democrats are really devoted, and they make every newscast, in one way or another:
You see their handiwork in the public park when an old lady is mugged, or in the alleys of the big cities when an old man is rolled for his wallet or his wedding ring or the Social Security money that he just got cashed.
You see their handiwork in the strips of caution tape around a tenement apartment where a girl was raped and beaten, or the crash site where someone’s car or SUV was crashed and abandoned after having been car-jacked.
You see their handiwork in the convenience store where a late-night clerk was killed during a robbery, or in the shuttered, boarded-up storefronts, abandoned by their owners after one too many such incidents.
You might think the Democrats are on the side of the victims of these crimes, but now, that’s where you’d be surprised.
The Democrats are the ones engineering the prison releases that set those perpetrators free. The Democrats are the ones throwing open the borders and declaring their cities “sanctuaries” from Immigration enforcement, encouraging the criminals of other countries to come here for fresh victims, provided by the millions, purposefully defenseless and ripe for the picking.
So vote Democrat. For the gatecrashers, the robbers, the drug dealers, the assaulters. For too many years, that demographic had too little representation in government.
Oh yes. The Democrats have lots of issues in this election, as in every election. More than you’d expect. More than you’d find from reading their party platform.
And don’t forget the former workers; those are their constituents too. The Democrats of 2024 champion former workers.
Not current workers, mind you. Current workers don’t need championing. If you have a job, you can pay taxes; you can help support all those other groups. If you’re employed, you’re a sponge to be squeezed for your contents, a piggy bank to be plundered, a fatted calf to be sacrificed.
But former workers, now, those are the Democrats’ natural constituency. For the unemployed, they have checks. SNAP cards. Public housing. Government surplus cheese. Free schools for your kids, if you can call them schools. Free public basketball courts to play in, if you don’t mind who your kids will be sharing the space with. Free all-gender bathrooms and locker rooms at the park district field house or the local grammar school, where your wife or daughter can change clothes under the watchful eye of a guy in drag. Or two. Or three.
All that is provided, at no charge, especially for the unemployed.
And the Democrats are so devoted to the unemployed that they design their economic policies – from corporate income taxes to workmen’s comp programs, from “groundbreaking wealth taxes” to inheritance taxes, from a crippling litigation culture to “unrealized capital gain” taxes – all to drive employers out of state, out of country, to foreign shores. All to create ever more members of the ranks of the unemployed.
Oh, they must love the unemployed, to work so hard to grow those ranks.
Need we go on?
On every issue, from abortion to euthanasia, from border to border, from home to park, from the jail to the morgue, there is consistency in the modern Democrat playbook.
It doesn’t look consistent at first – but that’s only because it’s so unexpected.
We study politics, and political campaigns, while under the assumption that both sides want the same positive result, and they just differ in what they believe is the best way to achieve it.
The truth, when you see it, can be jarring.
It takes time, and study, and an open mind, to be able to see the modern Democratic party for what it is, and to fully appreciate the nihilistic future that party has in mind for the Western world.
