Democrat terrorists have found yet another way to rig elections. Incendiary devices were set off early Monday morning at two ballot drop boxes, one in Portland, Oregon the Blue city that gave birth to Antifa. It only destroyed three ballots. Another bomb, in nearby Vancouver, Washington,^ destroyed 475 ballots. Evidence suggests that the same anti-democracy thug, with “a wealth of experience in metal fabrication and welding,” was responsible for both, according to authorities.
The early morning fire at the Portland drop box was extinguished quickly thanks to a suppression system inside the box as well as a nearby security guard, police said. Within a few hours, another fire was discovered at a transit center drop box across the Columbia River in Vancouver.
The ballot box in Vancouver also had a fire suppression system inside, but it failed to prevent 475 ballots from burning, said Greg Kimsey, the longtime auditor in Clark County, Washington, which includes Vancouver. He urged voters who dropped their ballots in the transit center box after 11 a.m. Saturday to contact his office for a replacement ballot.
THAT begs this question: Why, oh why, was a ballot drop box in what Kimsey called a “highly contested” election left unguarded and not emptied from Saturday to Monday?
Washington and Oregon, which are both vote-by-mail states, use ballot drop boxes because that makes it easier for Democrat candidates to “win.”
3RD CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT RACE VERY CLOSE
Vancouver is the biggest city in Washington’s 3rd Congressional District, the site of one of the closest U.S. House races in the country, between first-term Democrat Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez who is funded, in part, by George Soros, and Republican challenger, Trump-endorsed Joe Kent.
Perez, who has voted against the US Constitution 75% of her short time in Congress, said in a statement that she is requesting an overnight law enforcement presence posted at all ballot drop boxes in Clark County through Election Day. “Southwest Washington cannot risk a single vote being lost to arson and political violence,” her statement said. Clark County is the Blue County in a Red Seven-County Congressional District; but, Clark County has, by far, the largest population. Thus, Perez is not interested in protecting drop boxes in the other counties.
In a video posted on the social platform X, Kent also condemned the “cowardly act of terrorism.” He said he trusted law enforcement to find out who was responsible, urged voters to make sure their ballots are counted and said he continues to have faith in the ballot drop box system in Washington. “No one should be intimidated,” Kent said.
Third District Republican activists, myself included, suspect the destruction of ballots in Vancouver was done by a Perez supporter because the turnout of GOP voters in Clark County has been huge, much higher than in past elections. Joe Kent has urged his supporters to “bank” their ballots early, and they have been listening to him.
UNGUARDED DROP BOXES ATTRACT ANTI-DEMOCRACY THUGS*
Six states have banned ballot drop boxes since the rigged 2020 presidential election: Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina and South Dakota. Other states have restricted their use, including Ohio and Iowa, which now permits only one dropbox per county, according to the Brennan Center for Justice.
At a news conference, authorities said that enough material from the incendiary devices was recovered to show that the two fires Monday were connected, and that they were also connected to an October 8th incident, when an incendiary device was placed at a different ballot drop box in Vancouver. No ballots were damaged in that incident because Washington State did not mail out their ballots to voters until October 18th.
The fire suppression systems inside the ballot drop boxes in Washington and Oregon were designed to activate when the temperature inside reaches a certain point, coating ballots with a fire-suppressing powder.
The system appeared to have worked in the Portland drop box, and security staffers were nearby to help put out the fire. For unknown reasons, the system failed to prevent the destruction of the 475 ballots in Vancouver.
VOTERS: CHECK THE STATUS OF YOUR BALLOT
Voters in Washington’s Third Congressional District are encouraged to check their ballot status online at www.votewa.gov to track its return status. If a returned ballot is not marked as “received,” voters can print a replacement ballot or visit their local elections department for a replacement, the Washington Secretary of State’s office said.
Washington’s Democrat Secretary of State Steve Hobbs said the state would not tolerate threats or acts of violence meant to derail voting. “I strongly denounce any acts of terror that aim to disrupt lawful and fair elections in Washington state,” he said. Hobbs is a partisan hack who, over a year ago, entered into a contract with an AI company to censor Washingtonians to prevent them from obtaining and distributing information that might hurt the races of Democrat candidates.
“This was a violent attack on democracy, and we will do everything to keep our election system strong and secure in Washington,” Democrat Governor Inslee said in a statement. “There will be 24-hour enhanced security around ballot drop-off locations.”

^Although Vancouver and Portland are in different states, they are one big metropolitan area. Many workers living in one, commute to work in the other. Also, many Vancouver residents cross the Columbia River to shop because Washington has sales tax and Oregon does not. Over the years, I have known many Oregonians who moved to the Vancouver area to avoid Oregon’s 9% income tax.
*In Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona last week, officials said roughly five ballots were destroyed and others damaged when a fire was set in a drop box at a US Postal Service station there. The great majority of Arizona’s population lives in Maricopa County. To win Arizona’s eleven Electoral Votes, a presidential candidate must win Maricopa County.
