Protecting Borders Isn’t Racist, It’s Just Good Sense—Stop Confusing Nationality with Race

Let’s get this straight: nationality is about legal status, not skin color. Nations have every right to protect their borders and look after their own citizens, and doing so isn’t racist—it’s called being smart. Somehow, though, we’ve managed to let the specter of “race” cloud what should be simple. When a country prioritizes its citizens, that’s just practical governance. Calling border protection racist is like accusing a bouncer of being discriminatory because they check IDs. Spoiler alert: it’s about legality, not biology.

Race? Yeah, it’s not even real in scientific terms. It’s a social science thing, a leftover relic from the days when we thought different skin colors meant different species. Modern biology has moved on, but somehow politics hasn’t. In reality, the real issue is whether a nation is handling its resources, culture, and laws in a way that benefits its citizens—not whether it’s pandering to outdated concepts of race.

If you think about it, trying to argue that securing a nation’s borders is racist is just lazy. It’s like confusing checking someone’s driver’s license with judging their fashion sense. They’re totally different things. Nationality is a legal framework, a set of rights and responsibilities. Protecting that isn’t about exclusion—it’s about keeping the car on the road and running smoothly.

But no, in today’s world, pointing this out might get you labeled as some sort of xenophobe. Why? Because somewhere along the line, we confused legitimate border policies with racial politics. It’s time to stop that nonsense and start thinking logically. Borders don’t protect a race—they protect a nation. Big difference.

In short, let’s stop pretending that protecting a nation is some evil act of racial exclusion. It’s just common sense.
