The Great Depression and WWII found us rallying behind FDR’s 3,728 executive orders. By 1945, militarily and economically, we were the strongest of all nations. Our smugness generated an 80-year liberal mindset that fostered the belief: What’s Best for Other Nations is Best of Us. Five factors followed:
1) Our tariff-gift policies caused the loss of the ability to manufacture the machines that make the machines that make things.
2) We turned a blind eye to nuclear proliferation and imperialism of countries that would become our enemies.
3) Our encouragement of accepting foreigners into American universities and corporations resulted in theft of copyrights, patents, trade secrets and other esoteric properties.
4) America became an obese, untrustworthy, egocentric government bent on perpetuating itself by the doctrine of CYA and forsaking ability standards in preference to DEI.
5) Though immigrants are our DNA, a massive influx of illegals is destroying the assimilation process.
So far in 2025, Trump has issued only 147 executive orders. Our failure to support him will result in subservientness to our enemies. The MAGA goal is to reverse the 80-year liberal appeasement trend with his policy: What’s Best for America is Good for Other Nations.
