Protests are public gatherings to voice one’s displeasure of government action/inaction. Protests become riots when persons are injured and/or property is damaged or occupied. Riots become insurrection when insurrectionists forcefully move to take control of a government. Government competence is exhibited by its ability to accept protests while not allowing them to become riots.
For their “service” police officers, firefighters and military members are paid very well. Our Senators and Members of Congress are not paid well for their “service”…wait, wait, I’ve got this backward; it’s the over-paid protectees who are kept out of harm’s way by the underpaid protectors.
At least 60% of the voters (Reps & Dems) fear Republicans are a detriment to America, but at least 60% believe Democrats have proven to be a detriment to America.
If the poverty level is X-dollars/family and all poverty families are given enough money to raise them $1.00 above the X-dollar level; the new poverty level will be X-dollars plus one dollar. Thus, poverty will never be overcome because gifted dollars will continually be needed to adjust the ever-increasing poverty level.
Always fight a fair fight – by your definition of fair, of course.
