A Color Revolution Coming to South Dakota; The Argus-Liar is up to its old tricks

The Sioux Falls Argus-Liar is helping leftwing organizers market tomorrow’s “No Kings” protests in several South Dakota cities as part of a nationwide color revolution to thwart the duly elected president of the United States and his law-and-order agenda. Today’s A-L Daily Briefing featured what amounts to an advertisement for tomorrow’s activities in South Dakota entitled, ‘No King’ protests planned in South Dakota for June 14: What to know.’

The article is a puff piece that is wholly supportive of the planned protests. It helpfully provides specific rally street locations and times in seven South Dakota cities while providing detailed advice to protestors from the ACLU. Nowhere in the article is there any counterpoint to the obvious attempts to mobilize South Dakotas to turn out for these anti-Trump protests, nor is there any admonishment to the protestors to not repeat some of the violent actions that have transpired in other US cities.

Let’s explore the perfidy of the Argus-Liar further, as they also neglected to provide any information on the backers/funders of this planned nationwide protest – all of which could have been compiled and summarized by any real journalist as a REAL public service to A-L readers.

THE LA RIOTS – BEHIND THE FAÇADE

South Dakotans have been riveted on the violent riots taking place in Los Angeles and other American cities this past week, including the street violence, throwing of cinder blocks at passing vehicles, burning cars, destruction of private property, obstructing of public roads, and blatant brandishing of foreign flags (especially Mexico’s). Ostensibly in response to federal law enforcement actions to round up illegal alien criminals, the Democrat-media complex has been doing everything possible to undermine law and order in these Democrat-controlled cities in favor of excusing the rioters and obstructing federal agents (ICE and the FBI) as they enforce federal immigration laws.

These riots are part of a nationwide conspiracy and coordinated national mobilization effort underway to unleash a color revolution in various American cities, including Sioux Falls. A color revolution refers to a series of non-violent or semi-violent uprisings, often grassroots political movements, that aim to overthrow targeted governments or challenge entrenched political systems. These movements are characterized by widespread protests, civil disobedience, and the use of symbolic colors or imagery (or flags) to unify supporters and signal their cause.

What is happening in the US over the past week and through tomorrow’s planned protests is very similar to BLM-style protests that morphed into riots in 2020. The big event, which is eerily similar to the definition of a color revolution, is scheduled for dozens of US cities tomorrow and is being spearheaded by a group identifying itself as “No Kings.” “No Kings” is the Left’s inference that President Trump is somehow an authoritarian king while ignoring the fact that America is a constitutional republic with three equal branches of government (judiciary, legislative, and executive). This organization is operating as a front entity for broader far-left networks, with affiliated support from established rogue leftist NGOs and wealthy individuals.

One of the most prominent of those NGOs is Indivisible, a Soros-funded nonprofit previously linked to a failed color revolution targeting Elon Musk’s Tesla enterprise earlier this year. Indivisible was founded in protest to President Donald Trump in 2016 with the publication of a 23-page online handbook, Indivisible: A Practical Guide for Resisting the Trump Agenda, in mid-December 2016. The guide was authored by former congressional staffers, primarily Ezra Levin, Leah Greenberg, Angel Padilla, and Jeremy Haile. In January 2025, Indivisible declared that “democracy is under threat” and pledged to “not yield to fascism.” And now they are knee-deep in funding the LA riots and tomorrow’s planned “protests” nationwide including in various South Dakota cities.

Let’s look at who is funding these protests behind the scenes.

FUNDING THE RIOTS

A little spadework by the Argus-Liar would have easily uncovered this gem, which details how a Chinese Communist Party-aligned group is directly involved in the “No Kings” protests. Here are a couple of excerpts that will shock normal people:

The leader of a Chinese American political action committee involved in organizing upcoming protests against federal immigration enforcement under the “No Kings” banner is also a director of a taxpayer-funded group with extensive ties to Beijing’s intelligence network

….

[T]ranslated Chinese government and state media reports reveal a significant number of the nonprofit’s leaders have also served as members of the Chinese government, Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and/or Beijing’s intelligence arms, raising concerns among analysts about foreign influence.

And the Argus-Liar gives what amounts to free advertising to Indivisible to rally communist and other leftwing subversives who want to burn down America?

But that’s not the half of it. Here are excerpts of an article that details all of the leftwing nonprofits backing the protests planned nationwide – including in South Dakota! – for tomorrow:

A network of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) with known affiliations to Marxist-aligned political ideologies initiated coordinated protest activity across Los Angeles last Friday. Almost immediately, these protests escalated into widespread unrest, including acts of vandalism, arson, and looting, consistent with patterns observed in previous color revolution-style mobilizations by the Democratic Party.

Here is a partial list of the 200-odd groups involved in tomorrow’s protests, most of whom are aligned with Indivisible:

These are some of the same nonprofits who have funded every leftwing street protest group from the 1980s through the present, including ACORN, Occupy Wall Street, Antifa, BLM, and now “No Kings” (SIC).

CONCLUDING THOUGHTS

Here is what’s really going on:

• The LA (and Austin, Dallas, Chicago, NYC, etc.) riots were test drives for the big event on Saturday, 14 June
• Leftist NGOs and individuals are funding riots in 1,800 US cities tomorrow in an effort to make them appear to be “spontaneous” (nothing could be further from the truth)
• The Sioux Falls Argus-Liar posted an ad for the protest organizers that was disguised as a “public service announcement” that provided ZERO context to tomorrow’s nationwide protests
• The Argus-Liar is essentially giving aid and comfort to the front end of a color revolution in America.

As a chaser, just a few of the violent illegal alien criminals who have been apprehended by ICE and other law enforcement personnel in LA are listed in this article. They include:

• A convicted murderer
• A man with convictions for theft, assault, burglary, and intended rape
• A man with convictions for willful cruelty to a child, discharging of a firearm in a domestic setting, battery of a spouse or cohabitant, assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and driving under the influence
• A man with convictions for sex with a minor, hit-and-run, and narcotics violations
• A man with a conviction for vehicular manslaughter

Do all those protestors seriously think these criminals have a right to flaunt US immigration laws and stay in the US with no questions asked? Who but like-minded criminals and abettors of these crimes can possibly be against ICE deportations of the convicted criminal illegal aliens? And to think that the Argus-Liar is helping turn out the subversives for protests in seven South Dakota cities tomorrow.

It would appear that articles such as this one would well justify the Sioux Falls city council in kicking the A-L to the curb and designating the Dakota Scout as the city’s official newspaper of record!
