The destruction of Iran’s nuclear facilities means no nukes for Iran – for now. Nothing else is certain – for now. That’s because the enemy always has the option of the next move until they are utterly defeated and surrender. Imagining otherwise is the “fallacy of the last move.” Regardless of what comes next, President Trump didn’t start a new war. The President just made the latest strike in the war Iran started with the U.S. and Western Civilization – as well as Sunni Muslims – in 1979.
Getting rid of a nuclear capability for Iran is a good thing. If the U.S. didn’t do it now, Israel would have to do it eventually. U.S. military technology made it cleaner. Israeli destruction of Iranian counters made it easier. Good team work.
The next move is up to the Iranians. If they attack the U.S. to save face across backward Muslim Middle Eastern cultures, it will cost them more than they gain. Because, they will be humiliated militarily more than ever.
The exceptions are notable. If they can pull an October 7th in the U.S. or Europe or really cause casualties against a U.S. ship or base, then in their convoluted worldview, it’ll be worth the next whopping of U.S. punishment.
Regardless, whatever transpires isn’t a GWOT (Global War On Terror), Nation-building, “endless war.”
More warring between Iran and the U.S. is part of the longstanding, not endless, war Iran started in 1979 by capturing our Embassy and holding Americans hostage.
Also, more warring between the Mullahs of Iran and the Great Satan is part of the epoch, almost endless, war of Islam against the world, when Mohammed committed his first mass murder of Jews in 627 AD.
While the warring, by any name, continues, the Iranian people suffer the consequences.
To Be Determined: Will the Iranian Armed Forces – after repeated decapitations of its leadership – turn on the Mullahs and throw them out, or if unarmed millions can persuade the military to not suppress their overthrow of the regime.
One cautionary note is the effect flawless execution can have on personal and political hubris. This air op isn’t a cookie cutter for all warfare to follow. What went well today may not go so swimmingly against the CCP, North Korea, or Russia.
Domestically, the Democrats put their hatred of Trump and opposition to all things Republican on full public display. It’s almost as clear a self-definition as when they used to carry Viet Cong flags at their rallies. Support for the Iranian mullahs clearly identifies any person as a domestic enemy of the U.S.
Questioning the military action for its’ legality or appropriateness shows any person’s state of mind or limited understanding, but doesn’t make them a domestic enemy. Just a useful fool for the barbaric , Shiite Muslim mullahs ruling Iran.
Time for prayer for all Service men and women serving in harm’s way.
Stopping Iran’s nuclear program for now is a good thing to do. For America. For Isreal. For Europe and the world.
