Many are increasingly wondering and complaining why nothing is happening regarding the top criminal elements in the United States. We have high-flying criminals, have seen tons of evidence laid out online, and yet, lo and behold… nothing happens to these people. Whether its tax fraud, election vote buying and interference, or foreign intelligence scams. Nothing… nothing at all… happening to these people.
The reason for this is really simple, but most of us just don’t want to admit it to ourselves…
…we’ve been conned… again.
Many top politicians in the past have made big promises. Ronald Reagan promised to eliminate the Department of Education. Yeah… right. We still have the Department of Education. Jimmy Carter promised that he was an outsider to Washington. Yeah… right. He was part of the insider elite Trilateral Commission. Barack Obama promised us “hope and change.” Yeah… right. All we got was the same dose of leftism.
And don’t even get me started on the Bushies!
And now we have Donald Trump 2.0…. who looks more like Biden 2.0 cubed. All the talk. All the rhetoric. And ZERO action… except of course, more war, more regime change, more of your money to a handful of elitists, and even a Trump special envoy in the form of Rick Grenell bragging about pushing the LGBTQ+++ alphabet soup corruption on other nations.
Even efforts to stem illegal immigration has only been a modest success. After all, if the estimates that we have over 40 million illegals in the country is even remotely correct, what’s the removal of a paltry 2 or 3 million? Even if the border is currently closed, that will last only a few more years… and then the floodgates will be opened once more. You can bank on that.
It’s the old Marxist two-step… two steps forward, one step back. Rinse and repeat.
We need to face facts. We need to act and think like adults, and not hopeful little children. The federal government is lost… permanently. That ship sailed a long time ago, and as long as our system can allow the printing of nearly unlimited debt, with such money used to buy people off both here and abroad, we will never… never… see positive change at the federal level. The recent vote to continue funding for the National Endowment for Democracy… your tax dollars to foment revolutions in foreign lands… demonstrates the depth of the swamp, with 81 Republicans voting to continue throwing your money into that dark hole.
For all of her flaws, Marjorie Taylor Greene is right. In a recent video, she noted that she realized she wasn’t draining the swamp… she was providing cover for the swamp. And she noted that with the loss of the federal level, she was going to concentrate on state and local politics.
And that is where the fight is… the local level, where we can truly see “hope and change” and the “draining of the swamp.”
But beware… the local level is full of alligators as well. At least they’re a little easier to bag in the local elections.
