The Fruit on the Ground: Nihilism, Violence, and the Cheapening of Life
Ideas have consequences. Always.
When a civilization is taught—systematically—that human life is a liability rather than a gift, the result is not peace or harmony. It is nihilism with rules.
We are now living in the downstream effects:
• Random violence without purpose
• Mass death without moral shock
• Lives reduced to political abstractions
• A culture unable to say why murder is wrong—only that it is “unfortunate”
This is not simply a mental health crisis. It is a moral one.
A society that rejects the idea that humans are created by God cannot long sustain the idea that humans should treat one another as sacred. When life has no transcendent meaning, death loses its gravity. Violence becomes expressive. Rage becomes identity.
The Judeo-Christian worldview restrained evil not because people were perfect, but because they were accountable—to God, to law, to moral absolutes outside themselves.
The modern worldview offers no such restraint. It tells people they are accidents, burdens, or parasites—then acts surprised when some begin to behave accordingly.
This is not progress.
It is regression—spiritually, morally, and culturally.
The solution is not better messaging or new policies. It is truth:
• Humans are not a cancer
• Creation is not god
• Stewardship requires valuing the steward
Until Western civilization reclaims the foundational truth that human life is sacred, all attempts at reform will be cosmetic.
The war on man began in classrooms.
It spread through culture.
And its fruits are now undeniable.
The only question left is whether we have the courage to name the lie—and reject it.
