The White House Ultimate Fighting Championship Event Celebrates Americana, Patriotism, Our Military, First Responders And Washington DC
An amazing series of events unfolded in the week leading up to this event hosted on the White House grounds to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary culminating in the UFC event on President Trump’s 80th birthday with crowds spread throughout the Ellipse and the environs of DC.
Touted as a 60-million dollar bash largely funded by UFC leader Dana White, the event came off with nary a hitch amid fears of bad weather, allegations that taxpayers were footing the bill, anti-Trump nay sayers and whiners, and a bona fide terror threat that was broken up by the FBI and Secret Service.
The success of the event–the sheer majesty and pageantry of hosting a sporting event with the backdrop of the White House and a celebration of our nation’s capital in all its cleaned up glory—served as a prime target for the sad leftist, anti-Trump, death to America, pearl clutching, pity party haters who have redefined miserable and insufferable during the Trump era and continue to act like the brats they have proven themselves to be as they fail at each and every turn to spread their hateful messages against just about everything that makes America great.
The no-King’s, ANTIFA and Black Liberation Revival Movement Sad Sack element of society is increasingly preaching to the mirror in an echo chamber of their own making where they would have you believe that behind every event in America there is a fascist, Nazi intent that they can’t articulate that nonetheless should be derided, disrupted and halted less they lose momentum on their increasingly shrill, hyperbolic and pointless messaging.
The celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary is bigger than these small minded, leftist motivated insufferable idjiots perhaps best represented by the those who were arrested for destruction of government property on the recently cleaned up Reflecting Pool with their latest staged event against fascism.
The counter events planned were sad, mindless and feckless. You know you are scraping the bottom and digging into whale poop when the protests are led by socialists and communists headlined by disgraced personalities “Hanoi” Jane Fonda and Trump Derangement Syndrome afflicted Robert DeNiro.
Because, as any insane, clown posse leftist clearly understands, having a patriotic tribute to America and striving for a beautiful and clear reflecting pool free from sludge, trash and algae is clearly a fascist move by that Nazi president Trump. By cleaning up the monuments and the iconic memorials in and around DC, Trump is clearly showing his fascist rule because only a king would want America’s capital to sparkle like the gem it is and the tribute to our heritage it represents that taxpayers have funded over these past 250 years.
It would be redundant to observe that you can’t make it up.
Just how insane this dust up is at the reflecting pool—where the LSMBTGANF thinks they are sounding on Trump for paying so much-like 30% of the money and a fraction of the time that President Obama spent in an effort that proved fruitless—is represented by the Algae Bros who celebrated the damage done by cheering on the algae and harassing Park Police and National Guard on duty to prevent such lunacy.
Proving that there is no basement on the lunacy express—the steps they will go to—to get attention to whatever cause it is they think they are representing in their all-out campaign against the Bad Orange Man.
Which is increasingly simply a leftist inspired attack on America itself and what I like to call Americana.
The UFC event rose above all the hate and nonsense spewed by this vocal, unhinged and violent segment of our society and their cheerleaders in the LSMBTGANF. The pageantry with the backdrop of the White House predominant with events centered around the Ellipse and the Washington Monument was splendiferous.
The fights were entertaining with the highlight of the evening the long-awaited battle between Georgia (Russia) and Spain native Ilia Topuria and Arizona’s Justin Gaethje. Where Justin overcame Topuria’s unblemished record in a beatdown for the ages that saw him survive a near fight ending 2d round where he took heavy body shots to the liver and looked down and out but somehow made it to the bell.
He thereafter recovered and had his way in rounds 3 and 4, rocking Topuria with solid uppercuts, and a left jab followed by a right cross that laid him flat out on the canvas, followed by a knee shot to the left ribs at the bell that ultimately spelled the end of Topuria’s record run when he was unable to make the bell for the fifth round, with his corner capitulating between rounds. Topuria was sent to the hospital following the fight with orbital (eye socket) and potential rib issues and will not be fighting anytime soon while he recovers.
Both fighters have been medically suspended for up to 180 days in a routine precautionary medical move by the UFC to ensure recovery from the epic battle.
Tapuria’s record setting run had been unprecedented as he dispatched the crème of the crop in the UFC lightweight division. He is somewhat of a citizen of the world, born in Germany, later moving to Georgia and later still to Spain, becoming the first Georgian and Spanish fighter to win a UFC championship and the first undefeated fighter to win UFC championships in two divisions.
His impressive record-breaking run included technical knockouts (TKO) of three future Hall of Fame fighters, to include Alexander Volkanowski—ending his four-year reign–Max Holloway by TKO, suffering his first ever knockout, and the highly regarded Charles Olivera: all via TKO against arguably the top 3 fighters in his weight class.
Gaethje was a 6-1 underdog heading into the fight with very few optimistic about his chances. He is 9 years older and at the end of a stellar UFC career at 37 that had seen him consistently the bridesmaid when it came to championship UFC fights, although he held Interim Lightweight Championship belts twice in his career leading up to this fight.
But he had only been knocked out a few times in his career, including an ill-considered, last second exchange with Max Holloway where Justin was ahead on the cards but succumbed to a wild melee in the center of the Octagon. The TKO loss came with 1 second left in the fight.
Strategy and tenacity mean a lot in the UFC, despite its reputation as a brawler’s sport. Gaethje took advantage of a size and reach advantage, managing to keep Topuria on his back foot for much of the fight by interrupting attempts to get inside leverage through his penetrating jab that made Topuria pay as he tried to establish closing position as a base of power but was consistently disrupted by Gaethje’s jab, uppercut and right cross/hook. By the end of the fight Topuria looked like he had been in a car accident given the mauling of his face.
The other fights were good but not very competitive, including the other highly anticipated headline fight between Ciryl Gane and Alex Pereira that Gane won by TKO in the second round in a somewhat bizarre ending that saw Gane inexplicably get away with myriad controversial hammer fists and elbows to the back of Pereira’s head with no intervention or warning from the referee.
The UFC event was not without controversy, with the same old tired whining from leftists and some on the right side of the aisle supported by the LSMBTGANF castigating the event as a spectacle that was somehow below the dignity of the White House and the presidency.
Perhaps a bit disingenuous considering Oval Office infamous sexual trysts in the Clinton era, well known Obama events featuring largely black stars (gangsta rappers) and personalities, and the Biden years celebrating LGBTQMOUSE rainbow events during Easter celebrations and June events that featured things like mentally ill attendees showing off their chest scars as if America needed to see such spectacles.
A story that has to be mentioned is when renowned loud mouth and vulgar UFC fighter Josh Hokit—who has a reputation for disrupting UFC events with wild and edgy comments to the point where he is often not invited and more often—when he is—escorted out of the event-made the comment during an interview with Joe Rogan after his win that “Michelle Obama is a man, am I right America?” This was his post-fight interview, almost midnight during an otherwise normal night of obligatory events.
Which resulted in reactions and responses from all the right subjects and the LSMBTGANF melting down in “how dare you” mode, apparently clueless and ignorant of the fact that it was akin to gambling in Vegas, a Jerry Springer incident or the liar on Saturday Night Live saying something outrageous. A schtick, not unlike comments about Trump being a Nazi, killing and eating babies, the world ending in 12 8 4 2 years because of climate change, Al Gore’s hysterics on climate, etc.
Get over yourselves already.
The event was gloriously patriotic with our military featured prominently and first responders of all types recognized throughout in a setting and scene that was glorious for all the right reasons.
It is somewhat ironic that the same LSMBTGANF that celebrates American sports highlighted by professional football-where the average players career lasts about 3.3 years due to injuries, and there is no shortage of criminal behavior every year that is often overlooked, poo pooed and shoveled under the astro turf, suddenly noticed that the UFC is a fighting sport that is often violent and raw.
Oh, my pearls: Get over yourselves…
Congrats to the entire team that made this event possible and for Dana White for taking on a near impossible, once-in-a-lifetime challenge.
