Last week we briefly touched on the disturbing societal trend of normalizing bizarre behavior, namely transgenderism. This trend is having a gravely negative impact on our culture, particularly for the most vulnerable, our young. An entire generation is being raised to believe that the concept of gender and the very idea of male and female are a made up “social construct” that doesn’t “represent objective reality but instead are meaningful only because people within the society or group accept that they have meaning.” This propaganda is being force fed to our kids with the desired deleterious effect. By that definition, among Democrats, the beliefs that ‘Hillary won’, ‘Trump colluded’ and ‘Joe is lucid’ are all social constructs. But I digress.
This new trend even has its own lexicon. You can’t have a trend without trendy new buzz words and acronyms to go along with it. The young tend to be attracted to new trends and cool words, so what better way to usher them in? Agender, bigender, cisgender, gender-fluid, intersex (not to be confused with intersects), non-binary, genderqueer, zi/hir/hirs and of course, the ubiquitous ever changing LGBTQ+ are just some of the latest, most hip distortions of language for the frozen fruits and mixed vegetables crowd. Don’t be ashamed if you’re not familiar with these. Just ask your 10-year-old to bring you up to speed. These remind me of my high school freshman bringing home a four-page hand out from biology or sociology class with sexual words and definitions that made me, an Army infantry veteran, blush. I guess you’re never too old to learn new things. We knew then that private school wasn’t too far off.
Imagine 5-year old’s choosing their gender? No need to imagine, they’re here. Couples around the country are raising “theybies”, another trendy buzz word, instead of babies. Idiots, who have proven they never should have been allowed to procreate, are letting their kids decide for themselves what gender they are. This probably reminds you of your childhood when you got to pick the doll or action figure you wanted, right? Toddlers and adolescents can barely pick what they want for breakfast, much less their gender. From NBC “News”:
“Parents in the U.S. are increasingly raising children outside traditional gender norms — allowing boys and girls to play with the same toys and wear the same clothes — though experts say this is happening mostly in progressive, well-to-do enclaves. But what makes this “gender-open” style of parenting stand out, and even controversial in some circles, is that the parents do not reveal the sex of their children to anyone. Even the children, who are aware of their own body parts and how they may differ from others, are not taught to associate those body parts with being a boy or girl. If no one knows a child’s sex, these parents theorize, the child can’t be pigeonholed into gender stereotypes.”
The progressive and well-to-do, apparently have too much time on their hands to make up problems where none exist. Call it what you will, I call it blatant child abuse. This is not parenting. It is mental and psychological abuse of innocent children. Children are dependent on their parents for guidance, structure, and reassurance. Childhood is awkward and confusing enough without the adults entrusted to raise them confusing them even further. I remember how daunting it was entering high school for the first time. I had no idea where anything was at such a large school. I longed for the comfort of my little middle school. I didn’t even know where my locker was. I can’t fathom adding to that trepidation not knowing which bathroom to use, which PE class to attend and which sports teams I was eligible to play in. However, I didn’t need a “birds and bees” talk with my parents to know what sex I am. These confused kids are being purposely disadvantaged and betrayed by their own selfish parents.
No wonder the Army is having trouble meeting its recruiting goals. I guess many young men don’t even know what sex they are and those that do want nothing to do with an army that now caters to the new woke doctrine instead of the old war fighting doctrine that’s kept us free all these years. The army is now offering up to $60,000 as sign-up bonus to entice young folks to defend a country they’ve been taught to hate. How’s that supposed to work? It’s probably attractive to those wanting expensive gender-reassignment surgery but don’t want to pay for it. Get a cool $60 grand and let the taxpayers pick up the tab for your surgery. Sweet deal.
We can’t be expecting our fighting forces to pay for their own reassignment surgery. Washington state now requires insurers to cover this surgery. What kind of procedures are we talking about?
Health insurers generally cannot exclude, deny or limit medically necessary gender-affirming treatment.
Examples of treatments insurers must cover include:
Hormone therapy
Counseling services
Mastectomy and chest reconstruction
Breast augmentation
Hair removal procedures
Gender-affirming facial procedures
Tracheal shaves
As if that’s not bad enough, Washington state has now legalized these procedures for adolescents down to age 13, without parental consent or knowledge. The attorney-client privilege is sacrosanct. The parent-child privilege not so much. Big Brother knows more about parenting your child(ren) than you do. So just shut up and move along. Nothing to see here.
Anything goes nowadays in liberal hell holes like Washington, Oregon, California and New York. Anything but conservatism and traditional values that is. Leftists are erasing stigma from all sorts of perversions. The WIC (women, infants and children) program was meant to erase the stigma of having fatherless homes, illegitimacy and abortion. Notice how men are not covered or mentioned in this government program. How have those fatherless homes worked out for us as a nation? In his inartful way, Joe Biden once said he didn’t want his children growing up in the jungles created by such liberal programs. Too late. Stigma can have negative or positive effects, depending upon how it’s used. No stigma means no guardrails.
According to the party Brandon leads, it is people like him, heterosexual white males, that are the biggest problem in our society. How to fix that, how about illegally importing brown people from around the world in endless waves and turning the white male children of the country against the country and against their own sex? Problem solved. Liberals say, “live and let live”. Whose business is it if transexuals flaunt themselves in public or just go about their business? Leave them alone! Fine, if that’s all there was to it. But it’s not. They want more than to be left alone. They demand that you and I agree with them. They demand that you and I agree that men can be women. They demand affirmation and approval from each of us. They demand access to our kids with drag time story hours at school and public libraries. No, they don’t want to be left alone and they don’t want to leave you and your family alone.
There is a silent majority out there that is afraid of being cancelled for stating their traditional values aloud. Conservative politicians can help that majority “come out of the closet” by passing laws protecting kids from the dystopian world liberals are trying to create, including criminal penalties for doctors performing these irreversible physical mutilations of children. The next elections are so important to turning back the tide. It’s time to rescue our kids and their future. It’s beyond time, but not too late to transcend the trans nonsense we’re seeing all around us. Time to take back the asylum from the inmates.
