CNN In Cover-up Mode Over Content of Biden-Zelensky Phone Call

CNN was in full-blown coverup mode on Thursday night over the content of a phone call between President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky earlier in the day.

At 7:02 p.m., Human Events editor Jack Posobiec posted a screenshot of a tweet that had been posted and quickly deleted by CNN reporter Natasha Bertrand with the caption, “Hi @NatashaBertrand! Why did you delete this?”

Bertrand’s now-deleted tweet said a senior Ukrainian official informed CNN reporter Matthew Chance that Biden told Zelensky “a Russian invasion of Ukraine is now ‘virtually certain’ and that Kyiv could be ‘sacked’ – ‘prepare for impact’ Biden reportedly said. Zelensky disagreed and asked him to tone down rhetoric.”

At 8:23 p.m., ZeroHedge editor Tyler Durden reported, “Now – none of that apparently happened according to CNN‘s Jim Sciutto, the White House, and apparently Ukraine itself.”

As per Posobiec, CNN’s Jake Tapper reported the story. Note the time is 12:29 a.m. in Kiev which is 5:39 p.m. ET.

According to CNN’s Jim Schiutto, a White House statement challenged the earlier reports: “Anonymous sources are “leaking” falsehoods. President Biden said there is a distinct possibility the Russians could invade Ukraine in February. …”

At 7:22, Zelensky’s office denied the story.

CNN’s Alexander Marquardt joined the fray.

When the Biden White House doesn’t like the way a situation is being reported in the news, they simply call on the media outlets to alter their coverage and they dutifully respond.

The legacy media has morphed into the U.S. version of the Chinese state media. They no longer report the news accurately. They present the version that Democratic Party leaders want them to report.

We’ve seen enough montages of reporters, political analysts and Democratic politicians all spouting precisely the same phrases to describe a current event. For example, on the anniversary of Jan. 6, they all described “the insurrection” as “a dark day for democracy.”

This is journalistic malpractice and it’s shocking that anyone can engage in this deceit and still call themselves a journalist.

The conservative media has spent the last two decades trying to call out this misconduct wherever we see it. And slowly,  the American people are opening their eyes and becoming wise to it.

We’re starting to see the major networks hemorrhage viewers. And it couldn’t happen to a more deserving group of people.
