Concerned About GOP’s Assault on Democracy, Soros Donates $125 Million to Democrats

Far left billionaire George Soros will donate a whopping $125 million to help the Democrats win this November.

Politico reported that his son, Alexander Soros, who is the president of Democracy PAC, issued a statement which said that the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riot and “ongoing efforts to discredit and undermine our electoral process reveal the magnitude of the threat to our democracy.”

This, he notes, “is a generational threat that cannot be addressed in just one or two election cycles.”

The PAC will file with the Federal Elections Commission on Monday and its spending records will be available to the public.

Democracy PAC has already donated $2.5 million to Senate Majority PAC and $1 million to House Majority PAC, according to Politico.

Additionally, the Democratic Association of Secretaries of State has received $1 million. The pivotal roles played by the secretaries of state in the November 2020 election, particularly in battleground states, clearly wasn’t lost on Soros.

He is keenly aware of the influence local politicians can have on a community, a county or a state. For years, Soros has been quietly and methodically working to help elect hand-picked, progressive candidates to powerful district attorney positions and other key roles in local governments throughout America. Once elected, these officials use their authority to do his bidding. The number of Soros-backed district attorneys in the country has grown with each election and their impact on the U.S. justice system cannot be ignored.

There’s a direct relationship between these liberal prosecutors and the rising crime rates in the cities and counties under their jurisdictions.

The list of travesties caused by Soros-supported or simply Soros-inspired government officials is endless. The Waukesha Massacre comes to mind.

In a 2016 interview with Politico, Director of the Reflective Democracy Campaign Brenda Carter said, “Many people can’t name their district attorney. It’s not an office people think about a lot. They are often a very invisible part of the criminal justice system and the political system.”

She is absolutely correct. Yet they wield tremendous power. Prosecutorial discretion impacts the criminal justice system directly and ultimately, the lives of American citizens. There’s no question Soros’ intervention has made the U.S. a more dangerous place.

Surely other left-wing megadonors like Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg will be throwing big bucks at the midterms.

No doubt, the money will be extremely helpful. But I’m not so sure it will be enough to overcome the level of disgust that independent voters have come to feel for the Democratic Party.

The party has done its best to destroy the country over the past year in unimaginable ways on both the national and local levels.

Voters will remember President Joe Biden’s disgraceful exit from Afghanistan, his unconstitutional vaccine mandate, the more than two million illegal immigrants allowed into the U.S. (so far), record levels of inflation, the loss of energy independence, the DOJ’s weaponization of the FBI against parents who speak up at school board meetings, surging rates of crime across the country, the asymmetric application of the law (Jan. 6 protestors vs. 2020 rioters), the push to indoctrinate our children with critical race theory, and the labelling of those who disagree with them as white supremacists and domestic terrorists.

Former President Donald Trump was vastly outspent by Hillary Clinton in 2016 and still managed to win.

In November, New Jersey truck driver Edward Durr, a Republican who spent $5,000 on his campaign, defeated Democrat Steve Sweeney, then-New Jersey state Senate president.

They’ve gone way too far this time and the American people see it.

Democrats’ notorious inclination to cheat in elections and their big money donors are not to be minimized.

There is no question that Republicans have a fight on their hands. But hopefully, they’ve learned a thing or two from the 2020 election. They know that, in addition to Congressional races, they must focus on races at the most basic levels. Starting with school boards.

But in the end, the midterms will be a referendum on the Biden presidency and the destruction it has wrought. Even if Soros were to double his donations, the disgust with this loathsome administration and its affiliates in local governments throughout the country, is too profound for the Democrats to overcome.
