The Biden Democrats are using the war to divert attention from Biden’s failures at home. Biden has not tried to mediate and push for a cease fire and settlement of the war. Democrats have a history of playing politics with wars.

Most Democrats believe it will help them in the November 2022 elections to retain control in Congress.
If Biden really cared about the Ukrainians, he would have provided military assistance in early 2021 when Russia put 100,000 troops on the Ukraine border. Instead Biden cancelled a one hundred million dollar military aid package.

Biden waited until September 2021 to approve more aid. We did provide about 400 million in aid, but in December 2021 Biden postponed a two hundred million dollar military aid package to Ukraine.
Biden has not tried to negotiate a cease fire and settlement between Russia and Ukraine.
There is an outline for settlement: Ukraine does not join NATO, it is neutral like Austria, Finland, Sweden, etc., Russia withdraws. A big issue is the eastern area of Ukraine where many Russians reside.

A brief review of recent history shows that most Democrats do not care about foreign wars unless it serves their political purposes.
Moreover, most Democrats did not have their Russia obsession until Russia was used by Crooked Hillary as the Russia Hoax to try to destroy President Trump.
During the Clinton presidency, about one million people were killed and about 500,000 women raped in the Rwandan Genocide during one hundred (100) days in 1994 as part of the brutal civil war that started in 1990
Bill Clinton was busy molesting women in the White House while Crooked Hillary defended him and covered up evidence of Whitewater. The Rwandan Genocide did not receive the coverage and calls for action from Democrats that Ukraine has received.
In April,1975 President Ford asked Congress for emergency military aid for South Vietnam that was invaded by North Vietnam in January 1975. Biden bragged at the funeral service of George McGovern that he attended the meeting with President Ford and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, asked some questions, and the Committee denied the emergency military aid. South Vietnam fell on April 30, 1975.
In 1975-1979, the Communist Khmer Rouge government of Cambodia, led by Pol Pot, killed about two million people, out of a population of seven million in the Cambodian Genocide.

There was no call for action by the Carter administration as there now is for Ukraine.
Instead we had Carter lecturing us about our INORDINATE FEAR OF COMMUNISM:
“Being confident of our own future, we are now free of that inordinate fear of communism which once led us to embrace any dictator who joined us in that fear. I’m glad that that’s being changed.”
The communist dictatorships in China, Vietnam, Cuba, North Korea, Soviet Union, Cambodia, and other countries killed over one hundred million people during the 20th century.

But to Democrat president Carter, one hundred million dead is no reason to have an inordinate fear of communism.
During the 1980’s President Reagan tried to assist the Nicaraguan freedom fighters, known as Contras, in their rebellion against the Soviet backed Marxist rulers of Nicaragua. The Democrats did all they could to stop the aid to attack and weaken President Reagan.

Most Democrats did not have a problem with the Russian communists assisting the Sandinista communists in Nicaragua killing the Contra rebels fighting the communists. They were more interested in defeating Reagan.
Nor did most Democrats have a problem with the Soviet Union. In 1984, the Democrat “Lion of the Senate” Senator Ted Kennedy, a/k/a Teddy the Swimmer, asked the Soviets for help to defeat President Reagan in the 1984 election. In return Teddy and his Democrat pals would help the Soviets deal with President Reagan.
Teddy offered to visit Moscow and offered to set up television interviews in the USA for Soviet boss Andropov. Teddy knew his pals in the Media would treat Andropov better than they treated President Reagan so Andropov could explain what nice guys the Soviets were.

“Deal” means weaken, oppose, attack, and otherwise sabotage President Reagan’s policies to oppose the Soviet Communists.
Most Democrats initially supported Bush’s Iraq and Afghanistan Wars but opposed it as the wars continued and it became popular to oppose the wars.

Now the Democrats want to escalate and keep the war going in Ukraine.
The war news diverts attention from Biden’s disastrous open border polices, Biden’s declining mental state, Kamala’s incompetency, Biden’s inflation, rising crime rates, and Biden’s polices to reduce oil and gas drilling that caused the surge in gas prices. The Biden Democrats and their Media can blame Putin for all the problems we face.
It seems many Democrats did not have a problem with Russia when it was under communist rule. But now that Russia is simply a dictatorship it was useful for the Russia Hoax, and now for the 2022 election.

When did Democrats ever have a problem with communism? Go even farther back, to FDR’s terms in the White House and ask yourself just how many more communist spies could infiltrate a Democrat administration. There is a lot to go over, just with FDR.
I started to say that Jimmy Carter was the first Democrat to openly adore communists. He may have been, but FDR, whether or not he adored them, sure was loose with allowing communist spies infect our country, like fleas on a wild dog.
Democrats have had this communist problem for a long, long time.
An afterthought.
Look what the Democrats at Harvard did to Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, in 1978, at his famous Harvard address, that Harvard was so hoping to gain prestige from. All the fallout that came from his speech, from the professors and the Boston Globe, New York Times and other news outlets, was a huge embarrassment to one of the greatest and most courageous protestors of communism, within and without the Soviet Union, that it should have made it very apparent whose side the Democrats have been on, since that point in time.
I guess Aleksandr should have left out the beginning of his speech, the part about the meaning of “Veritas”, which is part of Harvard’s crest. I’m glad he said it.
