A “Victory” For Black Americans?

Katanji Brown Jackson will most likely be a Supreme Court Justice by the time this article is posted. More’s the pity, she will be elevated to that post with the help of three unprincipled RINOs whose primary focus always seems to be to get re-elected rather than acting for the good of the country. The left-wing media is hailing her ascension as a victory for black Americans, which begs the question, “A victory over who?” Plainly, the left sees this as a victory over Americans who are white and/or conservative, even though Judge Brown showed herself to a be a blatantly political nominee who lied to the Judicial Committee to advance her nomination. Her most obvious and outrageous lie was her statement that she does not know what a woman is because she is “not a biologist.” That lie alone should have disqualified her from the position for which she was nominated.

How did America come to this? How is it that we as a country routinely nominate, elect, and re-elect known liars and frauds? Judge Brown is hardly the first, but will most definitely be among the most consequential. Aside from being a liar, she is also arguably a bigot, and a person with sympathy for pedophiles based on her decisions in past cases. Unlike the Democrats who savaged Justice Kavanaugh during his vetting when they brought up his high school diaries and manufactured allegations of sexual misconduct, the Republicans appropriately focused on Judge Brown’s decisions in previous cases and her own words about what informs her judicial decisions. Her decisions and comments on cases involving pedophiles showed a totally inappropriate level of concern for the suffering of the criminals versus their victims. Given her past work as a public defender, that should not be a surprise, regardless of the fact her position as a judge requires her to be dispassionate and focused on the Constitution, the intent of the Founders, as well as current law and precedent. Her conduct in previous cases shows a clear tendency to push the boundary in order to coddle criminals. That combined with her ludicrous, dishonest and pathetic claim that she has no idea what a woman is should have ensured her consignment to the dustbin of history. Instead, the Democrat Party and its RINO allies will once again shame themselves by putting a person into a position for which they are patently unqualified. Ironically enough, the Democrat nominee also called into question the primary achievement of her nomination. Biden and the Democrats have been crowing for weeks about nominating the “first black female justice”. How can they be sure that is true when the nominee herself claims she has no idea if she is a female or not?

Apparently, the Democrat Party and their RINO quislings are just extending a long tradition of supporting liars, frauds, bigots, and anti-Americans. As the recent revelations about Hunter Biden have shown, the Democrats successfully orchestrated the biggest fraud in the history of America in order to put a senile, bigoted, dishonest, possibly criminal white male into the White House. Against that standard, Judge Brown is an amazing talent and the epitome of integrity and wisdom. On the other hand, she does not raise the bar for public servants in general. She is not better than the lying fraud Richard Blumenthal, who is most famous for stealing valor by claiming combat veteran status for years. Presumably, he knows that he is a male, though I am sure he would claim otherwise if you paid him to do it. Judge Brown is certainly not better than the infamous, insider trading Nancy Pelosi, who has leveraged her position to buy stocks based on impending legislation, and rivaled Judge Brown’s ignorance of her own gender by infamously proclaiming of the Obamacare legislation “We have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it…”. Nor can Judge Brown claim moral superiority to Mitt Romney who predictably showed his duplicitous character by voting for her for SCOTUS after voting against her for the federal bench. It is truly a case of “birds of a feather”. She garnered the votes of folks just like herself: ambitious to a fault, morally compromised, heedless of the Constitution, and fully supportive of increasing federal government power.

Now that a future Justice Brown is almost certain, it is assured that “Woke” ideology will have another friend on the nation’s highest court. Since Judge Brown was lenient with pedophiles, it is almost laughable to think that she will have sympathy for women forced to share a locker room with a lying grifter like Lia Thomas. Likewise, Judge Brown, who has stated that Critical Race Theory is an influential element in her outlook on the law, will likely have little sympathy for parents opposed to such racist, left-wing garbage being forced on their children. She can hardly be expected to have concern for secure borders or the states that are being bankrupted by massive illegal immigration. Anyone want to bet on whether she will support gun rights? How about the rights of women, given that she cannot even define what a woman is? Perhaps she will suggest that if women feel they are being discriminated against, they can just change their gender and declare themselves men. Certainly, that would solve their problem in the eyes of a judge who has no idea what a woman is.

Sadly, Judge Brown’s elevation to the SCOTUS just continues a long-term trend of our government being populated by mediocre, uninspiring and ethically challenged folks. Lest one think that is an overstatement, take a look at the current line of succession for President.

As one peruses this list of names, it is clear that federal government service no longer attracts the “best and brightest”. Right at the top we see “Dumb and Dumber” aka Biden and Harris, and the parade of fools, mediocrities, and hacks that follows is as depressing as it is frightening. Nancy Pelosi, vacuous, stammering alcoholic and notorious inside trader and grifter; Patrick Leahy, demagogue and ideologue shambling into senility; Anthony Blinken, hapless diplomat who helped enable the Ukraine invasion by Russia; Janet Yellen, bureaucratic hack so clueless that she confidently stated there would “not be another financial crisis in my lifetime” even as the world staggers toward global bankruptcy; Lloyd Austin, clueless fool and bigot who never noticed systemic racism in the military in 35 years as a black soldier, but now sees it everywhere and wants to make white soldiers pay for their “white rage”; Merrick Garland, fearless crusader against concerned parents who are obviously terrorists; and the list goes on, inexorably sinking into a Deep State morass of talent challenged dolts who seem to prosper whether they accomplish anything or not. The only benefit of reading this list of losers is to make Judge Brown seem almost competent and reasonable. If she could just figure out if she is a woman or not….
