President Joe Biden is ordering federal agencies to take a series of measures to expand voting access. efforts to restrict access to voting on the radical vote and the electoral bill.
As federal voting rights law stalled in Congress, Democratic lawmakers and civil rights activists are calling on the Biden administration to issue a new executive order aimed at better protecting voters from restrictive state election laws.
President Biden’s move comes just days after the House of Representatives passed a sweeping bill to create uniform national voting standards, overhaul campaign finance laws and ban district reorganization.
By all appearances, the order is more about marking President Biden’s political priorities than making major changes to federal voting rights policy.
President Biden on Sunday, March 7, 2021, signed an executive order aimed at promoting voting rights amid a push by Republican-led state legislatures to roll back voting access in the wake of former president Donald Trump’s 2020 loss and his baseless effort to cast doubt on the integrity of U.S. elections.
The order comes on the 56th anniversary of “Bloody Sunday,” the day that state troopers violently beat hundreds of marchers, including John Lewis, the late civil rights icon who served as a Democratic congressman from Georgia, on the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Ala. “Washington Post.com“
As VRA litigation escalates and more voting laws are passed at the state and local levels, Congress is likely to follow President Biden’s lead in reviewing and updating VRA. Those involved in the voting process, including state and local lawmakers, should oversee the implementation of President Biden’s executive orders.
Congress’ efforts to reform the electoral system and a potentially restructured Federal Election Commission. Under new federal and state laws, advisers, parties, and other political committees involved in the electoral process may consider reviewing voting practices and procedures to ensure they comply with current changes.
What exactly is Joe Biden hiding inside his executive order 1409? I don’t hear any concerns coming from Democrats over this executive order. They were forever screaming that then President Trump was not being forthcoming when it came to transparency. Is there something Biden and the Democrats hiding inside the executive order that actually hurts voters?
The Biden administration’s silence should concern all citizens. Silence, a lack of transparency, and an unwillingness to answer reasonable questions foster doubt in our election processes and election results at every level of government.
Democrats in Washington, led by the president, have tried to maintain unnecessary pandemic-era election policies while creating frivolous new ones. Their efforts would do grave harm to the nation’s electoral process by expanding federal control over state voting norms. Using taxpayer funds to pay political activists to join with federal bureaucrats is an unprecedented seizure of power from voters.
In the meantime, we have no choice but to ask: What is the Biden administration trying to hide?
When Biden took office in January 2021, White House press secretary Jen Psaki pledged in her first press conference that the administration would “bring transparency and truth back to the government.” It clearly hasn’t kept this promise.
The public has the right to know what the government is doing, especially if it is undermining fundamental rights. “msn.com“

“These voters remain more likely to face long lines at the polls and are disproportionately burdened by voter identification laws and limited opportunities to vote by mail. Limited access to language assistance remains a barrier for many voters.”
My precinct normally has a lot of voters lined up, but mainly for presidential elections, less at mid-terms, and, like the primary I just voted in, I was the only one at the precinct, looking at ten or so officials, for a good five minutes or so. Federal law already requires handicap access, and those citizens who are legally eligible to vote don’t need a translator, even for ebonics.
Fool Biden did screw up his executive order, anyway, by using the legal term “eligible Americans” which pretty much excludes all the people who are mentally challenged enough to swim the Rio Grande, in order to vote, like he wants them to.
I think fool Biden kinda kicked himself in the teeth with that executive order, or was it one Obama’s famous “actions”?
And, most of all, voting is not a fundamental right, but a right granted by law to those “eligible Americans”.
Fool Biden has enough staff who should have graduated from somewhere that taught English, and even English as a Second Language, so, he should have had someone proof read his Executive ice cream order.
