Globalist Folly Back In Season In The Swamp (Part 22)

Early on in this series-over a year ago-I wrote about how the Biden administration was establishing a precedent of elevating the junior varsity team from the Obama administration into lead positions across the board, and how disastrous this could be for America as they demonstrated their incompetence on all manner of policy. In the midst of this series, I labeled what was going on as a “dog bites man” affair, as amateurish and ill-thought through policies began to take effect and the results were as disastrous as predicted and anticipated and these fools were exposed as, well, fools.

While difficult to believe, it has only gotten worse and it will continue to degrade as this untalented, incapable team surpasses incompetence, approaches insanity (doing the same zany things, expecting different results) and seems hell-bent to press on to impeachable offenses. Thank goodness that our system of government affords a remedy for such egregious incompetence in the form of elections as a mechanism by which we can “vote the bums out.”

Blatant and widespread government malfeasance of the order of magnitude being propagated by the Biden administration is a life changing, generational event that almost always has ramifications well beyond the people-personalities-years and the acts themselves. The remedy or above “mechanism” obviously applies to congress and the house of representatives but is often felt or seen first in the trend of local and state government affairs as sentiment for change emerges in the form of a groundswell that can no longer be denied-or stopped.

This American Thinker article by Ed Brodow is perfectly titled to go along with this series: Team of Fools: Biden’s Cabinet Picks Prove He is Unfit to Lead. In a previous article I wrote about the ineptitude of the Biden cabinet members and their seeming willingness and empowerment to waste congress’ time by being combative during oversight hearings, showing up without basic information relating to their jobs and giving SGT Schultz or Three Stooges level answers to our elected representatives. He similarly identifies Department of Homeland Security Director Mayorkas as one of the-if not the-most egregious Biden cabinet member, observing:

Alejandro Mayorkas has me somewhat confused. I can’t tell if he is a consummate liar or just plain delusional. Mayorkas claimed that his message to migrants heading to the U.S. is: “Do not come.” Then he declared that “Our border is not open.” He also asserted his department has “a handle” on migration. “We’re not letting people loose,” he said. More blatant lies never have been uttered.

In direct contradiction to his statements and his sworn duty to uphold the law, Mayorkas deliberately has allowed more than a million to cross our southern border illegally.

The numbers and metrics are what makes Mayorkas’ incompetence all the more blatant-egregious-disqualifying, as drug overdose deaths in the US topped 100K last year for the first time ever as a direct result of drugs like fentanyl flowing across our southern border. With the record eclipsing number of illegal immigrants being released into the US under his watch, Texas Lt Governor Dan Patrick has warned that by the end of Biden’s first term they could represent some 20% of the US population: some 66 million people is an attention getter!

What did Mayorkas have to say when he testified to congress? That white supremacist extremists are the greatest threat to the homeland-a point AG Garland agrees with-and that DHS is making great strides on dealing with climate change. It is telling that one of his top priorities in regard to the US border is “justice:” not security.

By now everyone has heard about his infamous Disinformation Governance Board initiative that was seemingly derailed. However, recent Whistleblower provided documents to Senators Grassley and Hawley reported in this Fox News article indicate that the board actually stood up 24 February 2022-nearly two months before it was publicly announced. Also, the board is focused on domestic actors-Americans-in spite of Mayorkas’ testimony to the contrary. The only thing that may save this most feeble among the feeble in the Biden cabinet is democrat control of the committee structure.

Mayorkas is the poster child for the issue of little lies becoming big lies due to his ineptitude in apparently believing that his directives and actions would not get out somehow, or maybe he forgot the details, or he is a big old stinking liar. In a previous series I referenced a conversation that was similar to this incident—with the question being, why would he misstate or lie about something in print as policy under his signature-his direction-easily checked on, a matter of public record-and the simple Army answer is because he is a dummy-or a liar. And either of those possibilities disqualify him for DHS Secretary: stay tuned.

Speaking of the feeblest among the feeble, the above article lists Treasury Secretary Janet Yellin as another stalwart Biden cabinet member contributing to the shortage of “crow” in the swamp. When pressed early-on about the massive Biden administration spending, she incredibly talked of perhaps a “transitory inflation period” that would be of relative short duration. These administration talking points seemed incredibly naïve, ill-informed or mere political blather at the time, given the well-known principles of economics that govern these matters like the proverbial tides. From the above piece:

When asked about inflation, Yellen originally predicted that “Inflation, if it happens, will be transitory.” Now her excuse is that no one could have anticipated the record inflation that is plaguing Biden’s presidency.

Liz Peek disagrees. Yellen caused rising inflation, says Peek, through reckless monetary policy. “Most economists agree that the Democrats’ $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan spilled too much money into the recovering economy at the same time that we had goods shortages, sparking rising prices.” Why didn’t Yellen see it coming? And what is her response? “I do expect inflation to remain high,” Yellen says, “although I very much hope it will be coming down now.”

So we have a DHS Secretary who is a dimwit or a liar and a Treasury Secretary who seems to believe that hope is a plan or a strategy. The article goes on to highlight other Biden “stalwarts,” many of whom I previously called out in this series, including AG Garland, who seems hell bent on finding and putting away those rampant white supremacists and preventing future insurrections-starting with parents at local school board meetings-which he has consistently lied about. It is telling that his office moved out quickly to go after parents at local school board meetings, but he somehow lacks a sense of urgency when it comes to the safety of the Supreme Court Justices-a story that needs no further coverage or verbiage from me.

Although this incident reported by USSA News somewhat explains everything you need to know about the problems with justice in America right now. So an abortion activist hops the security fence at the Supreme Court and chains himself by the neck to the fence, refusing to leave. He is arrested and initially charged, but subsequently released, reportedly because it was “not a good look.” Gee, I wonder if anybody else will get that same idea as a way to get 20 seconds of fame and a headline or two.

Other notable Biden feckless cabinet members include Transportation’s Pete (if you had bought an electric car, you wouldn’t be worried about your high gasoline prices) Bootyguy-who obviously knows nothing about the amount of electricity required to charge that electric car and the likely source of the power generation providing it, and also the most qualified individual deserving of a waiver for his position Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin-who I have lambasted often in this series while calling for his resignation-if he had any class-and or firing.

I had not previously called out-because of space-Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, but she is making a name for herself by chirping along with the administration in mindless fashion on everything from green energy new deal terrificness, to the “Putin responsible for inflation, gasoline and oil price challenges in America”-points that a surprising number of Americans seemingly agree with, notwithstanding that inflation ramped up well before Ukraine-as did gas prices.

Then there is new press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, who brings the expected qualifications to the job-none of which involve or relate to doing the actual job-but is so clueless at a pretty basic level that she recently spent nearly 20 seconds during a press conference searching in her binder for information on the baby formula issue-and coming up empty: it might just be the most compelling exemplar of the ineptitude of this white house-like being unable to find your arse with both hands in the dark.

He closes out with Biden’s Supreme Court nominee-Katanji Brown Jackson-and I can’t say it better than this:

Last but certainly not least is Biden’s pick for the Supreme Court, Ketanji Brown Jackson. In selecting Jackson, race and gender were given precedence over qualifications and competence. Her record of being lenient toward sex offenders, together with her dissimulating answers about “what is a woman” and critical race theory suggest that she does not belong on the high court. Where does she belong? With the rest of Biden’s third-rate choices. She will fit right in.

And there are still no signs of a let up in those sweet little lies….
