My piece on “Good Hate” listed issues where the ideas of the Left lead to awful answers. Actually, their solutions make things worse. It’s good to hate these ideas. It’s even better to hate the origins and the outcomes of bad ideas. There’s good reasons for a better hate.
The Holy Bible lists things that the Lord God hates. Things He detests. This is from the God of love. The Supreme Being who created love – and all life. Believers are taught there is righteous hate against sin and iniquity. Which means we war against our natural inclinations to do wrong and think wrongly. But, we not supposed to hate ourselves.
Confused, yet?
You’re to hate what is wrong, not yourself – even if you do wrongly – because what is wrong comes from evil. We are to hate evil. Hating evil is a better hate.
What is evil?
Totalitarianism in any brand, shape, form, or kind is evil.
First and foremost it’s evil because it denies the one, true, only, living God. Totalitarianism may substitute the government as god. It may promote the small god of “Self.” It may worship an unholy trinity of Race, Class (Privilege), and Gender(s).
Totalitarianism has existed since a man first figured out how to rule others with force. It’s been the way of the world since the dawn of civilization. It was the absolute rule of any chief, monarch, oligarchy, or dictator. In the current Modern Era – however we choose to call these times – technology allows absolute power to more completely command the lives of individuals. Also, technology makes mass murder easier than killing by club, sword, and rope.
Totalitarianism tells you what to think, say, and do.
Ok, but doesn’t every culture do that? Culture commands. Every culture shapes the parameters for what individual persons think, say, or do. But, an individual can think beyond those limits and create a new idea. Ideas motivate humans. Humans change culture with new or syncretic ideas.
That chain of events produced a great tree of human freedom. It’s called Western Civilization. It has more freedom for the individual than any civilization in human history.
The English-speaking Peoples are a branch of that tree with more individual rights than any other ever. The United States of America is the greatest expression of personal liberty and economic opportunity. Hard stop.
But, our freedom of thought, speech, movement, economic choices, and personal autonomy – to include what we eat and wear, or take as medicine – is threatened by home grown, all-American, Human Secular Totalitarianism.
The ideas are called Progressive, New Green, or a different Socialism. The ideas promote programs like Black Lives Matter, Critical Race Theory, Social Education, Diversity Inclusion and Equity, Social Credit Scores, and Pro-Choice. The ideas are the latest re-tread of the French Revolution’s Human Secular Totalitarianism as today’s Cultural Marxism.
All of the above is absolutely evil. It’s good to hate the ideas and their awful answers to issues. It’s a better hate to detest where they came from and what they do to people.
Human Secular Totalitarianism in America, which is the Democrat Party in practice and called “Commies” in short, is comes from the evil that goes beyond denying God to insulting and mocking God.
What the Commies do to people – and want to do – is fuel for the fire of a burning, pure hatred.
The Commies want an elite enshrined in the institutions which shape our culture and civilization to rule. Our “betters” in government – including the military, business – especially billionaire-owned corporations, education, media, entertainment and arts, the Sissy Christian churches, and in some families – want Orwellian nightmarish control over every aspect of an American’s life.
Hyperbole? No.
Are there words you can’t say in public? Are there thoughts you can’t express at a public meeting or at work or in school?
Are you commanded to take an experimental drug into your body? If you refuse can you be fired from your job, prohibited entry into public places, discharged from the military, or restricted in travel?
Are you ordered to wear a face mask or face criminal prosecution? Do you have to show identity papers to get into a restaurant but not to vote?
Are you expected to believe that words can be re-defined? A recession isn’t what is in economic textbooks and a woman isn’t what a child knows.
Furthermore, can you be banned from social media, fired from work, flunked at school, and chastised publicly if you disagree with new definitions? Are you a bigot and awful person if you adhere to fact-based rational empiricism?
Does your personal cost of living go up and the economy – and job choices – go down because the federal and some state’s government is limiting the supply of energy – because the Climate Change Cult demands it?
Is there a Narrative throughout almost all government, business, education, media, entertainment and arts, and many church pronouncements? Does it adhere to identity politics, group rights, protected classes of persons and a twisted Hollywood hierarchy of evil and good? Does it demean you and everything you believe and love?
If you stand against the Narrative, do they minions of Totalitarianism want you dead? Sooner or later, every Human Secular Totalitarianism kills people.
In the meantime, the list of crimes against American liberty and freedom – including economic opportunity – goes on and on.
It’s better hate to abhor that which denies you your individual decisions and choices. It’s a better hate to fuel the fight against your autonomy and dignity as a human being.
It’s better to hate every modern insult to “I think, therefore, I am.”
