Over the weekend I watched a Netflix documentary titled “How to Fix a Drug Scandal.” It covers a period from 2013-2018 for the discovery and “investigation” into two Massachusetts State Crime lab chemists. One was relatively straight forward, Annie Dookhan who was just making up results in the lab in the eastern half of the state.
The second one was much more involved. Sonja Farak had been using the drugs coming into the lab for her own personal enjoyment. She was discovered in early 2013 and quickly the Attorney General’s office decided it had only been going on for six months. During her plea deal she was never required to allocute in open court and explain just how long this had been going on.
The AG had decided early they didn’t want to know and to hell with the cases she had completely screwed over. If not for the work of one dogged defense attorney (contrary to how we all see them, they do perform a vital function in our justice system) no one would have ever known that this woman had been getting high on the states seized stash since she was hired in 2004. Now I don’t believe many courts will take the word of a stoned chemist about whether the tests they just ran were accurate.
When she was arrested her car was impounded, searched, and inventoried. From the pictures shown of her car, a clean freak she was not. However, the AG and the State Police decided to list a large number of papers found as “Assorted lab paperwork.” What they actively hid from defense attorneys was the paperwork that showed just how long this woman had been stoned out of her mind.
Why do we care about a stoned chemist in Massachusetts? Compare this to the J6 video and the current way the Justice Department is dealing with the defendants. We are talking about a group of people that refused to get and turn over all the video of that day. Why? Cause their minds had been made up. The story had been written and there was no damn reason to go digging around screwing up the story so perfectly written for them. After all, with all these people locked away the deep state had their moral high ground they could preen about.
Releasing that footage destroys that. These chodes know that the only people to get wild that day were the Fed’s cosplaying to put one more hurdle up to investigating the 2020 election. Always remember the Fed’s do not respect you. They do not like you. They do not want you around with all your thoughts and ideals. What they want is for you to shut up and bow down to them. They will not stop trying to screw all of us until we make it painful, or they become our unquestioned overlords. Which option do you choose?
