In the movie Manhunter, FBI profiler Will Graham confronts one of his past targets – Hannibal Lecktor. Lecktor is a medical doctor, who is also a notorious serial killer and cannibal. In one memorable scene, Graham acknowledges that Lecktor is far more intelligent than himself, but notes the doctor’s handicap enabled his capture – he’s insane.
Could induced insanity be used as a weapon? Has American been the target of psychological warfare, in which the radicals have induced national psychosis to render us incapable of self-defense?
The British NHS says:
Psychosis is when people lose some contact with reality. This might involve seeing or hearing things that other people cannot see or hear (hallucinations) and believing things that are not actually true (delusions).
Is there any doubt that a disturbingly high percentage of Americans, believe things which are not true? Are they delusional, and are they dragging the country into their psychotic state?
Compare and contrast our current state with what would be a sane society. In a sane world:
- Boys would know they’re boys, girls would know they’re girls, and everyone else would be referred for therapy.
- People wouldn’t try to change the climate. They would enjoy the sunny days and prepare for the rainy ones – knowing that natural disasters are a fact of life.
- Racism would be defeated by making skin tone irrelevant, rather than fomenting interracial conflict.
- Hard work at any job would be a thing of pride, while laziness – in all its forms – would be a thing of shame.
- Schools would prepare children for self-reliance, rather than groom them for intersectional victimhood.
- Business owners wouldn’t be reviled for exploiting the masses, but revered for enriching them.
- Government employees would not be honored as “public servants,” but tolerated as necessary overhead – assuming what they do is necessary.
- The General population would understand that collectivism (in all its forms) is anathema to freedom, because it requires individual sacrifice for the benefit of the commune.
- Citizens would see that unequal justice isn’t justice at all, but merely tyranny hiding in plain sight.
- Clarity of good and evil would be accepted as necessary for social stability, because moral relativism caters to the ever-changing mood of the mob.
How did we reach the delusional state that creators of prosperity are bad, burdens on society are noble, the laws of nature are subject to consensus, and people are mere bees whose sole purpose is to advance the welfare of the hive? Given that all these distorted beliefs create self-destructive social behaviors, why have so many Americans accepted them?
We got here via a radical shift in our paradigms. Paradigms are mental models which we use to interpret the world around us. Our minds create these models in response to teaching, observation, and experience. They’re useful because they allow us to reach logical conclusions quickly. When we see a familiar pattern, we know what the likely outcome is without detailed analysis. When a baseball is approaching our head, a detailed review of impact physics isn’t necessary to decide to duck. We have a mental model which tells us that fast approaching objects are a threat. We know they can hurt us, and respond without significant deliberation.
But when circumstances don’t fit our paradigm, our mental models can also hide reality. Magicians use our paradigms to hide reality from us – to sell their illusions. They show us a familiar pattern, triggering a conclusion in our mind, which causes us to miss what is actually happening. Give the crowd a familiar setting, and their minds will see what they expect to see, not what is actually happening.
Those who would like America to become a communist utopia, have been doing that magic trick for decades, by forcing language on us that does not reflect reality. They package things that should be unacceptable to a self-governed society, in terms that seem reasonable. After decades of such paradigm bending:
- Words have become violence, but actual violence is mostly peaceful.
- Killing of one’s offspring isn’t homicide, it’s healthcare.
- Segregation isn’t racist, it’s providing safe spaces.
- Hatred of Jews isn’t antisemitism, it’s anticolonialism.
- Menaces to society (like George Floyd) aren’t criminals, they’re the new saints.
- Genocidal monsters (like Hamas) aren’t the new Nazi’s, they’re freedom fighters.
- Collectivism isn’t an invitation to communist tyranny, it’s social justice.
After 3+ generations of such programming, a significant number of Americans have mental models – paradigms – which no longer recognize reality. They have become delusional.
It has been said that the greatest trick the Devil ever pulled, has been convincing the world he doesn’t exist. Perhaps the greatest trick the radicals have pulled, has been convincing us that what we believe to be true, isn’t. They have convinced us that wrong is right, up is down, and national suicide will save the planet. They no longer need to outsmart us, because our insanity has handicapped us – just as Hannibal Lecktor’s did.
