Joy Reid Questions Authenticity of Trump’s Assassination Attempt

Is this woman out in conspiracy land yet again or what? We wonder how MSNBC even keeps her on the air.

MSNBC’s Joy Reid recently stirred controversy by suggesting the attempted assassination of Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, might have been staged. Reid shared her skepticism on X, listing several points she found odd about the incident, even questioning if Trump had been shot at all. Her comments have added pressure on the Secret Service, which is already facing scrutiny for the security breach that allowed the shooting to happen.

Reid began by questioning the lack of concrete information about the incident. “We still don’t know for sure whether Donald Trump was hit by a bullet,” she noted. “We know almost nothing.” Despite official statements, Reid implied there were inconsistencies and unanswered questions about the event. Her remarks come amid growing demands for the Secret Service to explain how the shooting occurred and why certain security measures failed.

One of Reid’s main points of contention was why Trump was allowed to stand up and pump his fist during the active shooting. She suggested that the Secret Service might have permitted this for a photo opportunity. “We don’t know why, for nine full seconds, Donald Trump was allowed to stand back up during an active shooting,” Reid said. She emphasized that this behavior seemed unusual, given the uncertainty about whether there were additional shooters. “There could have been five shooters for all they knew,” she added, questioning the prudence of allowing Trump to pose for a photo in such a situation.

Reid compared this to President Biden’s rapid recovery from COVID-19, implying both incidents were orchestrated to convey resilience and strength. She mentioned that Biden’s quick recovery and Trump’s fist pump were designed to send similar messages to the public.

Conservative commentator Kenny Webster slammed Reid’s insinuations, drawing a parallel to Alex Jones’ infamous conspiracy theories about the Sandy Hook massacre. Jones was heavily fined for his comments, and Webster suggested Reid should face similar consequences. “Alex Jones was fined $1.5 billion for his comments on Sandy Hook. How is this any different? Fine Joy Reid and seize MSNBC’s studio equipment,” Webster said on X.

Despite Trump’s claim that a bullet grazed the top part of his right ear, Reid expressed doubts about the severity and nature of his injury. She questioned why there was so little detailed information available about Trump’s condition. “What is the actual injury to Donald Trump’s ear that’s under that bandage?” she asked, indicating the lack of curiosity in the media about this part of the incident.

Reid also highlighted uncertainties regarding the positions of the other shooting victims in relation to Trump. She claimed officials had not clarified where the three rally attendees who were shot were standing or sitting relative to the former president. This seemed like a stretch to some, as multiple sources had reported on the locations of the victims. For instance, Rico Elmore, vice chairman of the Beaver County Republican Party, administered CPR to one victim seated behind Trump. Another attendee, Joseph Meyn, recounted seeing Corey Comperatore shot in the bleachers ahead of him.

The Secret Service, led by Kimberly Cheatle, is under intense scrutiny for its handling of the situation. Critics have questioned why there wasn’t an agent stationed on the warehouse roof from which the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, fired. Cheatle defended the decision, citing safety concerns about the building’s sloped roof. She explained that securing the building from the inside was deemed safer than placing an agent on the roof.

As questions continue to swirl around the Secret Service’s actions and Reid’s speculations gain traction, the debate over what truly happened during the assassination attempt on Trump remains heated.  The more evidence that comes out, the more it looks like someone in the Secret Service wants President Trump dead.  We shall soon find out.

  1. Explanation about why Joy Reid is full of rancid steaming bullcrap:

In long-range shootin, the measure of accuracy is a Minute of Angle. One MOA = one inch per 100 yards. A 1/2-MOA rifle is considered exceptional.

To make this shot, the difference between “graze” and “JFK” is 0.07 MOA – SEVEN HUNDREDTHS of an inch. There are three ingredients in a precision shot: the Person pulling the trigger, the Platform he’s shooting with and the Projectile being sent downrange. A shot can only be as good as the WEAKEST of these three links in the chain, and according to commentary I saw from the Canadian sniper who previously held the Confirmed Kill distance record at 2.2 miles with Joint Task Force 2 in Iraq, there is not a person, platform or projectile ON EARTH capable of making 0.07. (Remember, 0.5 is considered “Rockstar”, and we’re talking cutting to a SEVENTH of that.)

So when somebody makes Joy Reid’s claim, laugh in their face. Then when they tell you they’re serious, laugh at them even harder.
