Translated for the uninitiated: “Sit still and let the leftists try to demean, deter, and destroy America to the extent that they are willing to embarrass their own titular leader and take down ours. But when we express umbrage, it’s we who are uncivil? Please!”
Let’s break it down. Apparently, the new norm is that we’re supposed to sit quietly in the corner, hands folded, while the left trashes everything that makes America, well, America. They can bash our leaders, ridicule our values, and systematically dismantle our institutions, and we’re supposed to take it with a polite smile. Because, heaven forbid, if we dare to express a bit of righteous indignation, suddenly we’re the uncivil ones. The audacity!
You see, it’s all part of the grand design. They get to parade around their embarrassments, doing their best impression of competent leadership, while taking cheap shots at the very fabric of our nation. And when we finally say, “Hey, maybe setting the country on fire isn’t the best idea,” we’re accused of being divisive. Funny how that works, isn’t it?
Imagine a world where expressing concern about the direction of our country makes you the bad guy. Oh wait, you don’t have to imagine it—you’re living in it! It’s like a twisted episode of “Opposite Day,” where up is down, wrong is right, and voicing a sane opinion is the ultimate faux pas.
Here’s a fun exercise: try to keep a straight face when listening to a lecture about civility from the very people who think looting and vandalism are just misunderstood forms of peaceful protest. Or better yet, watch them defend their own leaders’ blunders while simultaneously calling for the heads of ours. It’s a masterclass in hypocrisy.
So, we’re left with a simple choice: sit down, shut up, and let them drag us through the mud, or stand up, speak out, and be labeled as the uncivil barbarians they desperately want us to be. Spoiler alert: we’re not about to sit quietly. Because, in case anyone’s forgotten, expressing umbrage at the degradation of our nation isn’t uncivil. It’s called patriotism.
And to those who clutch their pearls at our outspokenness, I say this: brace yourselves. The days of silent compliance are over. We’re here to defend what’s right, call out what’s wrong, and if that ruffles a few feathers, so be it. Because if standing up for America makes us uncivil, then hand us the label with pride. We’ll wear it as a badge of honor
