Four Venezuelan Gang Members Arrested in Colorado Amid Border Security Concerns

Four members of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang, identified as illegal aliens, were arrested in Colorado following a violent incident, according to ICE. These individuals, aged between 19 and 24, had previously entered the United States illegally through Texas during 2022 and 2023. All four are currently held in ICE custody.

The arrests were made in connection with a shooting near the Nome Street Apartments in Aurora, a location reportedly dominated by armed gang members. The suspects, Jhonnarty Dejesus Pacheco-Chirinos, Jhonardy Jose Pacheco-Chirinos (also known as “Cookie” or “Galleta”), Nixon Jose Azuaje Perez, and Dixon Jose Azuaje Perez, were implicated in an attempted homicide on July 28. Aurora Police confirmed Jhonnarty Dejesus Pacheco-Chirinos as a documented gang member, and his brother Jhonardy as well as the other two suspects are believed to have gang affiliations.

A disturbing scene captured by surveillance footage showing the gang forcefully entering an apartment in Aurora has circulated widely, highlighting the gang’s violent activities. The Tren de Aragua, with an estimated membership of 5,000 across Venezuela and the U.S., is notorious for its involvement in drug and human trafficking.

Further details revealed that Jhonardy Jose Pacheco-Chirinos was encountered by Border Patrol in Del Rio, Texas, in October 2022 and subsequently released with a notice to appear. He now faces felony charges, including assault with a deadly weapon. His brother Jhonnarty was arrested on similar charges after being apprehended in the same area and timeframe. Meanwhile, Nixon and Dixon Azuaje-Perez were detained by Border Patrol at Eagle Pass, Texas, on August 22, 2023, and are currently under parole pending legal proceedings.

The situation has sparked criticism towards the Biden administration, with Aurora City council member Danielle Jurinsky blaming the administration for security lapses that allowed gang members to threaten local communities. The House Committee on Homeland Security has cited over 7.8 million encounters with illegal aliens at the southwest border during the current administration, underscoring the ongoing challenges of border security and immigration enforcement.

  1. Impossible. Vice President Harris and “President“ O’Biden said the border has never been more secure in the history of mankind. These are not Venezuelans, these are illegals from the US south who have invaded the peaceful state of Colorado with assault weapons and are threatening, the peaceful undocumented future of America.

Gets your facts straight. Who are you going to believe, O’Biden (somebody wake Joe up) or your lying eyes? 👀
