The Climate Cult: Questioning Science in 2024 is the New Heresy

In 2024, it seems that we’ve moved past the age of open debate and intellectual discourse into a new era—the era of the climate change cult. If you dare to question the science, brace yourself for a barrage of righteous indignation from the climate crusaders. Once a scientific theory, climate change has now morphed into a quasi-religious dogma, complete with its own rituals (recycling, reusable straws) and high priests (environmental activists, celebrity endorsements). And, much like the inquisitors of the past, anyone daring to challenge the orthodoxy is branded a heretic. 

In the world of the liberal left, no discussion about climate change is allowed unless it involves accepting the dire predictions without so much as a raised eyebrow. Questioning their science? How dare you! Only a blasphemer would doubt the sacred texts of the IPCC or suggest that *maybe* models predicting global collapse aren’t as solid as they’d have us believe. After all, the mantra is clear: “The science is settled,” which is exactly how you know it isn’t. Science, the very thing built on questioning and challenging theories, has suddenly become a fixed doctrine, unassailable and unquestionable—just don’t mention the irony. 

The irony is indeed delicious. This is the same crowd that proudly touts tolerance and inclusivity, yet they’ll excommunicate you faster than you can say “carbon footprint” if you dare to ask for evidence that isn’t cherry-picked. The climate change zealots are quick to cancel anyone who deviates from the script. You’re not just wrong—you’re evil, selfish, and probably in the pocket of Big Oil. The tolerant left? Hardly. The moment you suggest that there might be more to the story, you’re an enemy of the planet itself.

One must never question “established” science in 2024, especially when it’s politically convenient. To be clear, questioning science is not the same as denying reality, but don’t expect to get that nuance across to the climate change cult. Their intolerance for dissent is more fervent than a medieval witch trial. You’re not engaging in scientific discourse—you’re spreading dangerous misinformation. 

So, while we were supposed to be evolving into an enlightened society that values critical thinking and debate, it seems the climate cult has other plans. You may bow down to their dogma or face the wrath of the eco-inquisition. Either way, just don’t expect any of that good old-fashioned tolerance when you step out of line.
