Introduction to the end time myths.
This series of posts rests on what God says in Daniel 9 and is extracted from the texts of Revelation the Fair God, The Great Harvest of the Post-Allah World as well as The Rock Breaks the Globalists’ Empire and the biblical references therein.
Here are some of the myths of the end times:
- There will be a seven year tribulation period.
- The sacrificial temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem.
- The antichrist will appear as the peace maker who will woo the people with peace.
- There will be a three and one-half year of peace under the antichrist.
- Then the antichrist will desecrate the newly rebuilt temple of Jerusalem.
- Then three and one-half years of horrible duress will take place.
- The tribulations will involve the Hebrews, Jacob’s descendants.
These myths can only be extrapolated from a misreading of Daniel 9:22 – 27 and ignoring Revelation 13.
From what I have been able to read, this corruption of Daniel 9 is a rather recent phenomenon—it is only a little more that two centuries old. The earlier believers were clear on their understanding of the passage.
However, as time became shorter and shorter before end-time actualization, the enemy introduced a deflective narrative—a tragic distraction to be played on the faithful. The timing of this corruption of the message of Daniel 9 makes sense: when the events were still many centuries away, their future import did not weigh on the faithful’s conscientious thoughts. But as these events approached; it was time for the deceiver to launch the campaign to mislead the believers. The misleading began a little more than two centuries ago; so I read.
The same type of deflection and misleading happened ahead of Jesus’ coming. The Pharisees, as a sect, coalesced a couple of centuries upstream of Jesus and waylaid the Messianic foundations of Judaism in order to steer the population away from Jesus when He came, and to keep them away from Him thereafter.
When Jesus came, the people still had access to their scriptures; and Jesus used them to impress upon the people His messianic reality and counteract the lies of the Pharisees and other such leaders.
And today, we too still have access to the original text of the scriptures (even though some versions have taken the liberty to insert the word antichrist in the text). This series delve2 into Daniel 9:22 – 27 as it is written.
