Liberalism. Is It A Mental Disorder?

Liberalism. Yes, it is a mental disorder. Don’t believe me, look at them.

What’s worse? Denying coverage for cancer patients, air ambulances for sick infants and residential treatment to a middle schooler who repeatedly attempted suicide — or gunning down a health care CEO in broad daylight in midtown Manhattan? Most of us would probably say the latter. And yet, we’d probably at least think about the question first. Not Ted Cruz.

Like many, I wonder what’s the motive of a murderer who gunned down a man for the crime of being the CEO of a major health care company. To call him sick is being generous. Anyone with any experience with law enforcement or the military knows using deadly force is as serious as it gets. Most cops or soldiers will not meticulously target a human and squeeze the trigger (an exception would be a sniper), but fire in self defense.

This is an exception to the rule and from what we’ve learned so far, the shooter selected Mr. Brian Thompson, manufactured a gun, and engraved the bullet casings with “Deny,” “Dispose,” and “Delay.” After the weapon jammed, the shooter cleared the jam and fired again. Yes, he took pleasure in his task.

Now putting the Chronicle’s rancid hatred of Ted Cruz aside (if the senator was shot, the article would have covered why Cruz incited the murderer), have liberals shown themselves as mental cases recently. I covered their reactions to Mr. Thompson’s murder last week, but the week before shows a lot on their way of “thinking.”

In United States v. Skrmetti, the administration of Joe O’Biden actually went to the highest court in the land and argued children have a right to mutilate themselves for life. Tennessee forbids puberty blockers, surgery, and other sex change procedures for those under the age of eighteen (eighteen being the legal age of adulthood in the state). By federal law someone must be twenty-one to purchase cigarettes and all fifty states have the same age restriction on alcohol. Yet liberals want children to be able to legally decide to mutulate themselves.

The outgoing (thank you Jesus) administration had the Solicitor General actually argue someone who cannot legally make legal (or medical decisions) for themselves must be allowed to make the life altering decision of mutilating their body, destroy their ability to create children, and dependon medications for life to insure an illusion. Crazed? From the oral arguments, US Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar (emphasis mine):

“Someone assigned female at birth can’t receive medication to live as a male, but someone assigned male can. If you change the individual sex, it changes the result. That’s a facial sex classification, and a law like that can’t stand on bare rationality,” she said.

Ms. Prelogar actually said someone is not born male or female, but “assigned” their sex because of a decision. She’s saying a law that acknowledges sex is set at birth “can’t stand on bare rationality.” This from a woman who graduated magna cum laude from Harvard (excuse, Haaaaarard) Law School, and was an editor at the Law Review. And Joe O’Biden (purportedly) appointed as one of the nation’s highest legal offices outside of the Attorney General himself.

It gets better:

“Asked by justices John Roberts and Brett Kavanaugh whether the US should be following countries such as England and Sweden in banning puberty blockers, she said: “It doesn’t matter what parents decide is best for their children, it doesn’t matter what patients would choose for themselves, and it doesn’t matter if doctors believe this treatment is essential for individual patients, [the law] categorically bans treatment when, and only when, it’s inconsistent with the patient’s birth sex.”

From Wikipedia, Ms. Prelogar has two children. I wonder what would happen if her child, at nine years old, decided to change their sex? I would speculate this woman would have an issue with a child wanting to get a tattoo, or drinking. But she is actually saying children should be allowed to mutilate themselves with no parental involvement. Actually liberals do not have parental notification at all, much less involvement.

Now if that’s not debauched enough, two of the three radical leftist justices on the court asked questions that would make you question their passing high school biology and history. Or their sanity. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, the latest female justice on the Supreme court (who cannot define what a woman is) said not allowing children to mutilate themselves is akin to when her party banned interracial marriage (I wonder if Justice Thomas got a chuckle from that as he is married to a white woman).

Not to be outdone, Justice Sonia Sotomayor likened sex changes to taking pain relievers.

“Every medical treatment has a risk, even taking aspirin,” Sotomayor said. “There’s always going to be a percentage of the population under any medical treatment that’s going to suffer a harm. So, the question in my mind is not, ‘do policymakers decide whether one person’s life is more valuable than the millions of others who get relief from this treatment?'”

I wonder if Justice Sotomayor knows the puberty blockers are banned in the UK, Sweden, Denmark and France. Or if it occurred to her she is advocating for the destruction of a basic tenant of western jurisprudence, that parents will make the critical decisions on their children as they grow. The state has very restricted influence in this matter (not withstanding law covering assault, family violence, etc.)

More to the point, can these politicians in robes, and the once great American Medical Association, let kids be kids. Children have issues growing up, this is known. Puberty brings up countless questions, including sexuality. We have for that, first, parents. Also other family members, teachers, clergy, counselors, friends to assist kids as they go through these difficult days without destroying their bodies and futures.

Liberals, on the other hand, want children to be mutilated before they are mature enough to drive an automobile. That is not hyperbole with their actions in the area of transexual “rights.” Perhaps liberal doctors (are you listening AMA?) should relearn the Hippocratic Oath, First do no harm. Allowing physicals and other demented adults (yes, parents with a serious case of Munchausen by Proxy Syndrome) to destroy children like this is such a debauched thought it’s unconscionable. Any physician who contemplates this needs to see a shrink. Any physician who does this needs to be charged with aggravated assault.

So, back to the editorial about Senator Cruz. Is he right calling liberalism a mental disorder? In current events, absolutely. It wasn’t a conservative Republican who attempted to murder Donald Trump (both times). It’s not a MAGA supporter who targeted a CEO for assumed crimes against humanity. Donald Trump didn’t open the gates of the US and tell millions, “Send us your criminals, your mental cases, your narcotics, your child sex laborers yearning to be exploited.” It is the Democratic Party.

I’ve said this countless times, todays Democrats are not Jimmy Carter’s party. They’re not Walter Mondal’s party. They’re not even Bubba Clinton’s party. And yes, liberalism, the base of the Democratic Party, is a mental disorder.
