The Great Global Awakening: Like Playing The Money Ball Game

The great global awakening is like playing the Money Ball Game, all about bringing back common sense, which ain’t so common anymore. Not in America, and not around the world.

We live in a society where of late common sense has been abandoned in favor of stupidity, idjiotcy and slackards: particularly in government where oaths of office seem to have become inconvenient and optional.

This tragedy is society’s own making, and I will prove that through just a handful of egregious examples representing exactly why this has been a problem, as well as the evidence that tells you it is changing before our eyes.

Before proving the above it is important to get on the same page with regard to the use of the term. Common sense is simply defined as sound and prudent judgment based on a simple perception of the situation or facts.

Seems pretty straightforward and intuitive, doesn’t it? Occam’s Razor is a perfect example/tenet.

I would point out the use of the words “perception,” as well as “facts.” Our modern, woke and often irreverent globalist hearting society stumbles over these terms by confusing or inserting prejudice or bias for the first part, and truth for the second.

The truth referenced above is not the warm, fuzzy one you are likely familiar with, having been contorted beyond recognition through doctrine and dogma and pretzel logic into something unrecognizable.

Often a construct that can’t be reached through logical means. Like new age math where the objective is not empirical or finite but can be expressed by 2+2=about 3 or maybe 5 depending on the situation.

Which most often results in utterly insane applications of faux thinking that seem perfectly logical to the person who arrives at such preposterous thoughts but come to the light of day like a ridicule magnet exposing the underlying fail like a spotlight in a prison yard at night.

If common sense is so-well-common, how come it ain’t so common? Several great examples in recent news headlines bring this example home in stark contrast to any alternative you can imagine that would represent common sense.

For average Joe and Jane Doe sitting at home relaxing working through bills, health issues and daily survival, this story about how the British government covered up and overlooked criminal sexual abuse by immigrants for at least a decade and in many cases for the last 40 years or more, is the type of thing I’m talking about.

From the NY Times: The grooming scandal seized on by Elon Musk, and other sources such as Sky news, which seem hell bent on highlighting the Elon Musk involvement vice the actual cover up and the underlying truth about how governments in England, Britain, Europe and other places bent the knee to violent immigrants while failing to protect their children: for whatever excuse they offer as a rationale for doing so.

In a century where women are to be believed, where the “me too” movement took down many high-powered people, how come some women aren’t believed? Like those in the stories above? Where it became politically correct to ignore the grooming, rapes, and criminal behavior rather than to charge immigrants when they groomed, raped and committed crimes? Who thought that was a good policy?

Before presenting more of these “ridicule worthy stories” I should attend to completing the legacy of common sense, which is as old as the ancient philosophers and as critical to embrace as the American Revolutionary War.

From the ancient Greeks to the Romans on up to the French and the Founders of America, common sense grew out of philosophical roots as basic tenets of sophistry such as not putting your finger in a flame or pooping in your own nest or abode.

The most famous example in American history that is seemingly not taught or very well-known anymore was written by Thomas Paine and published anonymously from 1775-1776 as a series of articles advocating for support in seeking freedom from the British. Culminating in a formally published (anonymously) 10 January 1776 47-page pamphlet that made the case and provided a compelling argument for Independence.

Which might seem crazy that some might need convincing, but many livelihoods depended on the Crown and owed their lot in life to the good graces of the King. Land grants, trade credits, the barter of goods and services, the very station in life enjoyed by many based upon their loyalty to Britain.

If you go after the King, you better get the King…It was a very dicey endeavor to sign-on to a risky effort to battle the Crown. In truth those who did, did not fare well in the final analysis in general.

I was reminded of the spirit of this sentiment during a trip back east where a buddy hooked me up with one of the docents for the Museum of the Massachusetts First Corps of Cadets. If you have ever (or never) been to a castle in England such as the Tower of London, Windsor or Belvoir, one of the more impressive sights is the armory or in US vernacular the “arms room” that stores the weapons for the Duke or Prince’s Army.

The Massachusetts Museum has a similar arms store which is the epitome of the American Revolutionary spirit incarnate. There in the racks of muskets resides one that is “not like the others,” a smooth bore unlike any of its neighbors.

The story is that some time ago one of the British Historians wrote the museum inquiring as to whether they might be in possession of some missing weaponry, number XXXX, corresponding to the weapon in the above rack. The response was classic “spoils of war,” somewhat Molon Labe, in your face you big disgrace: we’re keeping it. Common sense.

It seems like common sense left town or was abandoned in the 21st century, particularly by our government. A tenet in government would seem to be that you don’t lie to the people. Because when they find out, there is going to be retribution because those who pay your salary with their tax dollars are not going to continue to do so if you are dishonest and lie to them.

The exception to that has been attributed to Alexis de Tocqueville, or Alexander Smith or Alexander Fraser Tytler-suffice it to say it remains in dispute. But the sentiment is that “a democracy will last only as long as it takes the politicians or people to figure out that they can vote themselves in and pay stipends from the US treasury to their friends and constituents to maintain their offices.”

And please don’t comment to advise me that we are not a democracy (but we’re not-I know-…but, but, but…I know…)

If you doubt this proposition about common sense in the 21st century, read through a few of these and explain “why.”

We must invade Afghanistan to get Bin Laden and punish the Taliban and or Al Queda.

We must invade Iraq because Saddam Hussein is pursuing small version nuclear weapons that he plans to provide to Al Queda.

We must pressure Israel to provide a home to the Palestinians in Gaza as part of the two-state solution.

Nothing is said or done about Russia invading Georgia because Bush has no political capital left.

Dodd-Frank was necessary because too many people can’t afford the America Dream to purchase a house.

Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac must be nationalized by the US government to prevent the housing market from total collapse because of all the Dodd-Frank induced foreclosures.

If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. If you like your plan, you can keep your plan. And you will save $2500.

Marriage is between a man and a woman, according to my religion.

The Muslim Brotherhood is a largely Secular, administrative or bureaucratic organization.

Muammar Qadhafi must go because of the crimes he’s committed in the past.

Assad is a reform leader in the Middle East.

Ukraine’s Yanukovych must go because he is a Putin puppet.

Our Embassy Annex in Benghazi was attacked while the US Ambassador was resident on the anniversary of 9-11 by a spontaneous crowd because of a hateful video. They managed to zero mortars in-that they brought to the rally-and create havoc with heavy duty machine guns.

Putin took Crimea because he is an international criminal.

Moderates made great strides in recent Iranian elections.

We did not pay a ransom to Iran to release US Navy hostages.

We did pay money to the Iranians, and it was somewhat a condition of getting the hostages back.

Beau Bergdahl was a hero and patriot that was worth five Islamic terrorists.

It is a red line if Assad uses WMD/chemical weapons on his people.

Assad used WMD on his people and we may do some type of “pin prick” as retaliation.

We do not do “pin pricks.” Also, it was the world that set a red line on Assad use of chemical weapons on his people. The only way to avoid problems is if the WMD/chemical stores are removed.

Russia immediately steps forward to broker a removal deal, while the administration punts the issue to congress for deliberation.

I heard about Hillary Clinton’s email server the same as everybody else, from the LSMBTGA.

Former President Clinton and DOJ Loretta Lynch had a chance encounter on the tarmac in Phoenix where it is typically 112 degrees in the shade.

Lynch recuses herself, FBI Dir Comey usurps the DOJ authority, declaring that Hillary Clinton had an illegal unclassified mail server that she used for convenience to share classified emails and information in violation of a number of United States Codes under Title 18. But no prosecutor would charge this case.

Obama joins Clinton on the campaign trail for the first time (gollllly, the same day!).

CIA Director Brennan briefed President Obama on a Russia report that Jake Sullivan recommended, and Hillary Clinton approved a plan to smear Trump as a Russian stooge to distract from her email problem.

Obama directs the IC to do an investigative referral to the FBI for the above report (a FOIAble event.)

CIA Director Brennan briefs Senate Majority Leader Dirty Harry Reid that Trump is being favored by Russia because of Kompromat material, and they prefer him over Hillary Clinton.

Senator Reid sends an urgent memo to the FBI to investigate Putin influence over Trump.

The Obama directed IC investigative referral to the FBI arrives: it took nearly six weeks. Comey does not remember it: it was not memorable.

The Southern District of NY informs the FBI that thousands of Hillary Clinton emails have been discovered on Huma Abedin and former congressman Weiner’s laptops.

The Southern District of NY re-reminds the FBI that tens of thousands of Hillary Clinton emails have been discovered on Huma Abedin and former congressman Weiner’s laptops.

The Southern District of NY desperately re-re-reminds and threatens to elevate to DOJ if the FBI does not secure the laptop that contains hundreds of thousands of Hillary Clinton emails discovered on Huma Abedin and former congressman Weiner’s laptops.

FBI DIR Comey advises congress the Hillary Clinton illegal email server scandal has been reopened because of the discovery of new email material.

FBI DIR Comey usurps DOJ authority and again clears Clinton of her email (illegal server) issue.

Senator McCain gets a tip on the Kompromat material that has been compiled by a British intel operative named Steele working for Fusion GPS and is provided a copy.

McCain’s Chief of Staff meets with a journalist at the McCain Center in DC who is a colleague of a woman who is spooking around with the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Security Chief (who is later indicted and convicted of leaking classified information to his lover.) During a bathroom break in the discussion, the journalist “very sneakily” (winky, winky) copies the Steele Dossier.

Trump wins the election.

The Steele Dossier has not been printed because those who have read it regard it as salacious and none of it has been verified.

Obama declares a handful of Russians persona non grata and revokes their US diplomatic status for actions during the election.

The plot is hatched to go after Flynn.

Obama directs the IC to do an Intelligence Community Assessment on Russian Interference in the 2016 Election.

A scheme is crafted by the inner circle of the Obama administration to break the gordian knot on the Steele Dossier. It is likely a collusion between DNI Clapper, CIA DIR Brennan, and FBI Dir Comey.

The scheme is to brief the still not disseminated Steele dossier to the National Security Council out of an “abundance of caution:” it could have some truth to it. (A reminder that Obama is familiar with Steele because he did most of the legwork for the State Dept-Victoria Nuland-in the World Soccer FIFA investigation that determined Putin bribed officials to land the World Cup.)

Obama directs that-out of courtesy (big ole flipp’n winky, winky) and an abundance of caution-the Dossier should be briefed to the President-elect. The serpent squad of Clapper, Brennan and Comey-augmented by NSA Dir Adm Rogers-is dispatched to Trump Tower where Comey is selected to do the briefing.

Within mere days of this briefing the Steele Dossier is published in the press because anonymous sources have confirmed that it has been briefed to President Obama and President-elect Trump: there must be some there, there!

Clapper is later pressed on whether he “spilled the beans” to his future employer CNN and he thinks he is positive but grows less so over time until it becomes obvious that he is likely the one who had bean juice on his hands.

I’ve gone far too long here for now. A point to think about in preparation for the follow-on piece is what this has to do with common sense.

I think the major point or takeaway is that most of the above actions and happenstances were about as organic or natural as false teeth.

Common sense would tell you that all this contrived nonsense, scheming, voodoo and sleight of hand was choreographed and intended to prevent Trump from winning. And when he did, the mission became a takeout action before he could take office.

A fairly determined and risky effort. And it doesn’t bode well going forward because many of these same actors are still active in the resistance.

We will see going forward that many of the ideas and initiatives Trump is bringing to his administration are common sense proposals that the electorate supports at a very high level.

But if you go after the King, you better get the King: they didn’t!
