One of the first things I learned as a police officer: when dispatched to a scene, do something – that’s why you were called. Our elected officials are expected to “do something” – that’s why we elected them, e.g., Trump-1 the wall, Obama the ACA, Biden nothing – and the Dems still don’t have a plan to do anything.
Ron Howard, noted actor/director, allegedly wrote about what he believes is wrong with America – but tendered no blueprint for future policies. It’s easy to criticize, but if all he can do is complain, he’s part of the problem. It’s action on ideas and goals that voters want. Mr. Howard went on to say that Trump is a fascist. Semantics aside, one can’t be a fascist if elected by the people while being supported by SCOTUS and elected representatives.
As the Democrats continue to sail along, they seem oblivious to why they lost. Oh wait, now I’m criticizing … but I have a strategy for the Dems (if the Republicans don’t beat ‘em to the punch):
1) Devise quota-based immigration.
2) Forsake the age-of-entitlement to create an age-of-goal-oriented performance.
3) Take-action: Set the example for bipartisanship by supporting common-sense Republican bills and EOs.
