In tender arms, remember on this day, as gentle waves meet shores of deep reflection; in complacency, once lost upon our way, we now awaken, fueled by introspection.
In this moment, a clarion heard loud, our ire ignited, convictions burning bright; let not despair, God given rights endowed, determined, marching forward, hearts alight.
In comfort’s solace, we sought to shield our pain, with fierce resolve in tales of our mourned past; while free to speak, a brother’s life is slain, in commiseration, a potent bond is cast.
We cannot linger lost in reverie’s apathy, with fervent hearts we meet them face to face; our people cry, demanding bold veracity, if we must spar, then do so with His grace.
As we rise, let it not be in sweet silence, marginalized in shadows lost to night; while scoffers jeer with rude and crass defiance, we will not waver, together, we will fight!
