Pearl Harbor was a turning point. 9-11 was not. Trump2 most certainly was/is. Charlie Kirk might be. The unified Republicans, aided by SCOTUS, and the martyrdom of Charlie Kirk, need to be aware they are approaching a condition where their positive momentum could turn their agenda to animosity. Not the venomous prime facie hate Democrats hold for Trump, but a more subtle and powerful repulsion as in: If you don’t join us, profess your love for Charlie and conservative ideals, we will crush you.
I watched some of the Charlie Kirk tributes. Erika Kirk was most powerful. If she had said Charlie was the Second Coming the crowd would have cheered even louder. It was scary. The movies, Elmer Gantry and Inherit the Wind came to mind. Charlie, as a martyr, might turn conservatism to the point where the love of their ideals creates persecution of anyone not a believer/supporter.
The phenomena, Charlie Kirk, will be a turning point if a significant number of young Americans take an interest in politics. TPUSA will be a turning point when the Democrat party disavowals its far-left members’ ideology and their hatred of Trump while moving their platform in a more conservative direction.
