In 1947, George Kennan proposed the strategy of Containment to keep the Communists where they were until the internal contradictions of communism made them collapse. That strategy worked for the West until the collapse of the Soviet Empire in 1991. After great suffering, the Communist Chinese Party (CCP) survived and grew – using capitalist economics. Containment worked and won. Containment 2.0 is needed to keep Islam from overwhelming Western Civilization with immigrants and exploding their population bomb.
Soviet Union was an empire with a pathologically flawed ideology. Islam is the ideology and identity of a civilization greater than a single empire. Islam includes a backward religion. Islamic Civilization is over 800 years behind Western Civilization. That makes Islam barbaric and left to its own – peopled as savages. Witness the Gazans committing the October 7th massacre.
The Muslim countries who appear to be the most advanced, Western-like, and tolerant to non-Muslims keep their subjects from full faith following the Koran and Hadith. These “progressive” Muslim countries ban the Muslim Brotherhood. They crush Muslim terrorists.
Yet, the handful of better Muslim countries in the world subjugated to Islam – Dar Islam – don’t tolerate and appease Christians like Muslims are kowtowed and protected across Western countries. And, they fund the exporting of Islam.
So, the conquest by immigration – a Hijra – and procreation of Western Civilization goes unchallenged with few exceptions.
Demographics are destiny.
Western Civilization will fall unless Muslim immigration – legal and illegal – is stopped. And, large populations of Muslims are “remigrated” or deported back to Islamic countries. Or, large multitudes of Muslims remove themselves when they are cut off of welfare, made to work, denied the Halal, faced with the Haram, and pushed to assimilate fully into Western countries.
Meanwhile, what happens as Western Civilization de-populates itself? Perhaps, what happened after each horrific population purge from the Black Death? Western Civilization adjusted, rebounded, and prospered.
What happens when masses of humanity many times greater than Western Civilization simmer with jealous envy of the rich West and hateful resentment at being excluded?
First, Islam being Islam, the Muslim sects will war continuously with one another. Second, they may war with the West, but there’s no indication since their turning point defeat in 1688 that Islam will win any war with the West. They can’t defeat tiny Israel.
Third, eventually Islamic Civilization may collapse into a successor civilization which doesn’t war against everyone to dominate the world as its central mission. Or, it may have its own Magna Carta moment, Renaissance, Reformation, Enlightenment, and Great Awakenings to catch up to Western Civilization.
Or, it could wallow in tyranny and barbarism for another millennium.
In 1992, I wrote a paper, “The Centurion Strategy”, likening the fall of the Soviets to Rome’s defeat of Carthage. The piece acknowledged the central role of the Roman Army and enough Navy to keep the barbarians outside of the empire. Rome did it for about 550 years in the West and 1600 years in the East.
Likewise, Western Civilization, including our close allies in Asia, has a compelling task to keep the barbarians out. I believed the West had to control world-wide immigration with bite-sized, assimilable numbers and exclude Islam.
The West failed miserably and intentionally because the most despicable traitors in two thousand years let the inherent, implacable, irrevocable, irredentist enemy – Islam – inside our walls. After the coming conflict with Islam across Europe and, possibly, the U.S. and Canada, their infamy will exceed Attila, Napoleon, Hitler, Stalin, and Mao.
It’s not too late to adopt a Containment 2.0 strategy for Western Civilization. Return Muslims and keep them in their festering Islamic places.
Freeing the West from falling under the black veil of Islam means restoring confident, muscular, combative Christianity. Europe may not be up to the task. Socialism sapped their manhood and made them more abject subjects than they were as Medieval peasants.
Not so in the U.S. Not yet.
