America is pretty good at protecting itself from foreign threats, but we’ve been guilty of ignoring the enemies within our borders. Now we’re at risk of losing America as it was founded, because of that oversight.
The Marxists did exactly what they said they’d do. They told us that they’d do a slow march through our institutions, and they did it. They reassured us that our freedom was secure, and we believed them, while they quietly took it away. They said they were
- Defending democracy – while undermining elections,
- Providing social justice – while corrupting criminal justice,
- Spreading the wealth around – while crushing personal incentive,
- Saving the planet – while eliminating our choices, and
- Ending hate – while pitting us against one another.
We have been straying from founding principles, ever since the schools stopped teaching American exceptionalism. Free America is now approaching its end stage. In the last decade, our federal government has
- Infringed on our worship,
- Censored our expression,
- Invalidated our electoral choices,
- Applied the law unequally,
- Mandated our medical treatment,
- Challenged our right to self-defense, and
- Spent us to the edge of economic collapse.
It all happened because we failed in our duty to defend America from enemies, both foreign and DOMESTIC.
While we worried about the planet getting too warm, or the rich getting too rich, we neglected something much more important – our freedom being taken from us. Our freedom is in jeopardy because of those guided by apathy, malice, ignorance, or greed.
We have parasites, who are happy to enjoy the benefits of being an American, for as long as possible, so long as it requires no effort on their part (the RINOs). They are the apathetic, expecting their car to run for a bit longer without an oil change.
We have useful idiots, who ignore reality while accepting the propaganda (the “No Kings” protesters). They have been led to believe that the security of collectivism is preferable to personal freedom. They don’t see that security can become a prison.
We have the power hungry, who hope to destroy America as founded, so that they may replace it with some version of central control – with them in the center (Bernie and the Squad).
We have the corrupt, who see the opportunity for profit in chaos (Clintons and Bidens). They don’t care if America collapses, so long as they cash out before the cash runs out.
To be sure, we still have many Americans who wish to preserve our founding principles. Unfortunately, they have dwindling resources to do so.
Gerrymandering has turned election to office into a lifelong entitlement, rather than a public service.
Lawfare and judicial activism has made equal justice under law a perverse joke.
Bureaucratic cancer has created a fourth branch of unaccountable overlords, with the power to regulate us into serfdom.
Fortunately, those who still cherish personal freedom still have ways to nudge America back to a righteous path.
We need to discuss the importance of founding principles with our children and grandchildren. By going around our corrupt educational system we can instill a sense of self-reliance and love for freedom.
We need to elevate the issues of lost freedom to our countrymen by any means available (I use writing). Bypassing the propagandists, we can inform the idiots and motivate the apathetic.
We need to vote in EVERY election. At times it may seem like we’re simply proving Einstein’s axiom that “It’s insanity to do the same thing over and over while expecting a different result.” But showing up at the polls every two years is necessary to tell our domestic enemies that we have not surrendered our right of self-governance.
We need to lobby our state legislatures to support an Article V convention of states. It is the last means available for our states to reign in the federal government via Constitutional amendment. An Article V convention will be an enormous undertaking, but is quickly becoming the last remaining peaceful means to change federal behavior. But with the power of the Constitution waning, time is of the essence.
We need to pray that the country founded with God’s guidance, returns to him for salvation.
We need to prepare for other outcomes, should our countrymen not heed God’s word. Without a return to founding principles anarchy, tyranny, or revolution is our future.
If the patriotic do all of that, will it matter? It’s impossible to know. Our enemies have a say also. One need only observe activist judges overturning our electoral choices to know that our domestic enemies will fight back. But God gave us a mission to live as free men. We can only serve him by not giving up.
