There’s one thing the Democrat party can’t allow. It’s their kryptonite – transparency. The moment 50 percent of the voters learn the Dems are a crime family rather than a political party, their electoral prospects will dim substantially.
The biggest vulnerability of any criminal enterprise is their money. When it’s used, it leaves a trail that can be followed back to the root criminal behavior – unless it’s well laundered.
Money laundering is the process of moving money around, to make it appear like it came from somewhere other than where it originated. In the Breaking Bad TV series, Gus Fring made millions of dollars from trafficking crystal meth. But he made the money from his drug empire appear to come from his chain of chicken restaurants, Los Pollos Hermanos. He was able to spend his ill-gotten gains without raising suspicions, because his drug proceeds appeared to be profit from a highly successful fast-food chain, instead of what they really were. It’s a great illustration of Democrat party finance.
The Dems have been looting federal funds to benefit their political machine for decades. The practice is highly illegal, but they’ve gotten away with it because they’re quite proficient at appropriating federal funds, and laundering them so they no longer look like federal funds. It’s a complicated process.
The Dems in Congress appropriate funds for some amorphous social justice cause like combating climate change, promoting diversity, ending poverty, empowering transgenders, advancing democracy, or whatever.
Next, allies within the deep state bureaucracy give multi-billion-dollar grants to a few NGOs, to manage distribution of those appropriations. Then the NGOs start writing multi-million-dollar checks to a few nonprofit foundations, who in turn fund a plethora of advocacy groups.
With cash in hand, those advocacy groups sponsor a few protests (to raise awareness for their cause), and donate the rest to select political action committees – which coincidently are all benefactors of the Democrat party.
Apolitical taxpayer money enters the washing machine, goes through a few spin cycles, and emerges as a donation from the Coalition of Gender Confused People to the committee for the reelection of Joe Socialist. Just like that, money prohibited for political use, is pillaged from the treasury, and emerges from the web of organizations as a seemingly legitimate political contribution.
For success, the money laundering scheme only requires one thing – complexity. The crooks must make the web of transactions so complicated that by the time an accountant figures out where a Congressional appropriation went, the statute of limitations has run out.
But DOGE changed everything. The Democrat laundry worked great until Donald Trump invited Elon Musk to Washington for a peak in the books. The problem for the Dems is that Elon doesn’t do things the normal way – he’s creative … and fast.
Elon didn’t assemble a team of accountants, and ask the bureaucracy for help. He assembled a team of AI jocks, which he called DOGE, and told the bureaucracy to get out of his way. But instead of getting out of the way, the bureaucrats fired off a warning flare, and the Dems went bat crap crazy – because they knew where this was headed. A new and previously unforeseen forensic tool had been unleashed to investigate their crimes.
What would have taken a forensic accounting team years to unravel, DOGE’s smart kids with mongo computing assets were able to decipher in mere hours – well within the statute of limitations decision loop. What seemed like a bulletproof money laundering scheme a few years ago, suddenly looked very vulnerable.
What do criminals do when they hear about evidence they thought was hidden, being found? They panic and act stupid, just as the Dems have since Trump returned to the Oval Office.
Evidence that was supposed to be hidden for years, has been found prematurely. Prison time for hundreds of Democrat party operatives is a real possibility, if the DoJ can somehow arrange a fair trial in Washington D.C. Unfortunately, Washington is where a “jury of peers” is also a “jury of coconspirators.”
But even if the Dems dodge the wrath of the criminal justice system, they might still face the wrath of the voters, whose money they have been stealing with impunity. All they can do is play for time.
With the Donald determined to get his pound of flesh, the Dem strategy is to scream “No Kings” and lie shamelessly, in hopes of winning enough congressional seats in November to shut it all down, at least temporarily. It’s a desperation move, but the chess board hasn’t left them with many other options. Unfortunately, it may work because all they need is a little time.
With a simple majority in the House, the next two years will be consumed with impeachment theater. They’ll vote on articles of impeachment for Trump, Patel, and whoever the AG is – not to remove them, but to tie them up defending themselves rather than investigating the Dems. It will be transparently obvious what they’re doing, but they’ll leave that to their propagandists to deal with.
If by chance the Dems can con their way back into the Oval Office in 2028, they will have weathered the storm. President Ocasio-Cortez will give Merrick Garland an encore performance at the Justice Department, where he’ll run out the statute of limitations clock. Then the crooks will be home free.
Update: The morning after writing this piece I learned that Pam Bondi is out as our Attorney General, and Todd Blanche is taking over temporarily. Within hours, Acting AG Blanche told Jesse Watters that investigating ActBlue for allegedly funneling foreign donations to Democrats, and lying about it (i.e. money laundering), is a high priority for the Department of Justice. Trump is following the money, and he’s making sure the evidence is found before statute of limitations clock reaches zero.
