NJ Gov Mickie Sherril in Obfuscation Mode: The Sliding, Slippery Slope Of Losing Causes And The Politicians Who Traffic In The Practice

Best Practice Dictates A Lightweight, Light Duty, Inexpensive Petard In Order To Survive The Hoisting Stage Of The Malpractice

You never want to overuse a great “schtick,” else it loses its value in terms of humor, applicability and the often-cosmic Lurchgroan” factor it induces. The picture to this article is one of my favs because it singly represents–without any amplification– a political tactic that is so ubiquitous and yet so subtle or clever that it is like driving on the Autobahn on a clear and sunny day when an exotic car zooms past at over 200Kms per hour (120MPH) like you are standing still while you wonder, “What was that?

In 1969 Dr. Elizabeth Kubler-Ross published her treatise on the study of death and loss, having mapped and classified the five stages of grief (denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance, DABDA,) producing her authoritative classic on Death and Dying.

Almost every politician intuitively embraces a similar doctrinal approach to handling problems, with my favorite practitioner (favorite in the sense of Superman Bizzarro World Thrae where everything is opposite) Barrack Hussein Obama.

He is not unique or alone, but rather the epitome of modern politicians—perhaps the role model for the 21st century–maybe the tippy top exemplar of those who from a skills standpoint practice such black arts (no pun intended, not racially adjacent.)

The proof that it is true–that the strategy works–are the polls that still astonishingly rate Obama highly in comparison with other presidents when the truth is he was an unmitigated disaster for both his party and the nation, who continuously lied to the American people and executed actions that–Freddy Krueger—like, still haunt us to this day 9 years after he left office.

Much like Freddy he keeps showing up although in his case you absolutely expect it, being the only former president who never left the scene in stark contrast to his peers, as he had unfinished business to attend to in undermining his successor and covering his lying, manipulating, treasonous tracks.

Only in 21st Century America could such a relative novice politician be venerated for immutable surface level traits that in the final analysis contributed nothing to his legacy. In fact, the one area he seemed destined to improve upon from a society and culture race relations standpoint he (and his racist partner) deliberately fractured and continues to undermine in terms of progress with vitriolic, side eye, disingenuous comments.

The fact that this guy still gets a pass amazes me, despite what we knew then and all that we now know—and have lived—since, like Ukraine, Libya, Egypt, DACA, the Unaffordable Care Act, the Iran financial bailout, Fast and Furious, the Hillary Clinton Russia Russia Russia Pee Pee Hoax, and race relations: and a dozen other issues.

In the final analysis he was not unlike any other nickel and dime political creature/politician–the survival instincts kick-in and the motor starts in the heart and mouth before the brain engages–fight or flee–and before you know it something is out in the public that has a life of its own and needs to be attended to and finessed, fixed, mitigated, curated or loved.

Relatively new and emerging democrat politicians like Sherill have arguably the worst role models perhaps in the history of our country when you consider the spate of leaders that have reigned during their maturation.

Because with those leaders came the renowned and well compensated political advisors, who brought with them the art of consultation, which begat pollsters, which begat fixers and specialists schooled in the discipline of manipulating situations to play with the narrative to survive crisis of often their own invention.

Survival in the modern lexicon is living to fight another day—getting through the hysteric, white-hot spotlight of the news cycle while hunkering down. Some don’t make it, with the current poster children Eric Swillwell and Grant Platner.

More on that thought line later.

The resulting blueprint or playbook that I am insinuating is what could whimsically be called the Crisis Response Action Playbook (CRAP,) which is a wonderful word and acronym that can do heavy linguistics lifting-duty in a pinch.

In Sherill’s case she started out with the tried-and-true consultant approved democrat talking points from the initial CRAP response strategery playbook: it is illegal for illegal aliens to vote–but couched in 2026 “dem speak”–so in terms of migrants or non-citizens—so this is much to do about nothing.

With the inconvenient truth being that many states like California, New Jersey, Colorado—most of the blue states—have followed the torturous logic that illegals–“migrants”–are going to drive—so they need drivers licenses—just like Americans. But unlike American citizens it is not clear they need mandatory insurance…

Because—well—it actually is not clear whether and how these illegals are getting through the system. When it comes to those illegals who were extended Amnesty and were flown into the country at taxpayer expense under the Biden administration, it is very clear that they bypassed each and every mandatory burden of proof requirement that US citizens must comply with, as well as those applying for Visas and the like, including the requirements for passports, shots, restricted travel items, TSA regulations, etc. Their children receive waivers or are simply not required to comply with mandatory school vaccination protocols.

The dem CRAP strategery playbook calls for politicians put on the spot over these details to ignore the racism connotations and counter with the “picking our crops” and “taking care of our children” and “cleaning our toilets” line of response.

You know the schtick: Doing the jobs that Americans don’t want to do. Which ignores the wholesale creation of a sub or underclass of workers that drives down wages and takes jobs away from entry level and coming of age teenagers in America. When just a minute ago the dems were advocating through the unions for a living wage—but not apparently for these workers.

This type of French Revolution, litmus tests and gates always ends badly as this article chronicles.

If these arguments sound familiar one can only imagine the oratory splendor made by slave holders during the early and mid-1900s to justify the practice.

Many blue states have been suffering from their own tax and policy migration issues. Which threatens to change the dynamics of congress as California, New York and Colorado in particular face net loss migration outflows projected to cost them congressional seats at the hands of the red states that people are fleeing to in order to escape rising taxes, burdensome social policies and diminishing education performance in schools.

The IRS reports that officially track these data run several years behind but suffice it to say the litany of blue states suffering these losses are well aware of the outflow of revenue. And have responded with various forms of revenge tax policy that include retroactive penalties to the fleeing.

Many of these clever blue states suffering outward migration have courted illegal aliens through sanctuary policy and special programs to help with all manner of life support related functions, all at taxpayers’ expense via local, state or the federal government.

Which creates a never-ending cycle of replacement theory based solicited illegal alien invasion via migration, extension of and the straining of city, county, state services to illegals, manipulation by the state to receive federal taxpayer funds to offset state funded benefits, and backlash from taxpaying citizens whose lifestyles are being impacted across the board through reduced services and increased taxes: rinse and repeat.

What triggered the Sherill CRAP incident response team was the aforementioned issue involving driver licenses. Somewhat of a legacy of the democrat get out the vote drives under Clinton often referred to over the years as the “motor, voter act,” the logical extension from the original intent is that these illegals are here, they are driving and therefore need driver licenses.

Since we want to do more to help people to vote, it makes total sense to automatically register those getting state issued driver licenses.

Many blue states overachieved by doing the same for anybody obtaining any type of state issued permit, pass or fee for things like fishing licenses, State Park entrance passes, etc. Perhaps winky, winky forgetting that many state issued passes only require the flimsiest evidence of presence at a state address, like a library card, utility bill, etc.

But illegal aliens can’t vote. And of course, felons can’t have weapons; pedophiles are prohibited from molesting children; and forks made me fat!

Sherill started down this slippery slope when the DOJ began a drive to clean states voter rolls, which Judicial Watch has been litigating for years. New Jersey–as well as many states–was not cooperative and began an effort akin to the Muhammad Ali rope a dope. DOJ eventually declared that New Jersey had some 35K illegal aliens registered to vote.

Sherrill initially went with the “no way” and the “but it is illegal for them to vote” strategery but was eventually forced to follow the next step in the CRAP dichotomy of playing for time to let the news cycle dissipate the sting in the wind before admitting knowledge of 6.6K illegals on the rolls. And that at least 400 of them had indeed voted due to an apparent, um, er, “glitch.”

While moving to the next rung of CRAP strategery with the declaration that there is no evidence that these votes changed any outcomes: so notwithstanding that an acknowledged 400 New Jersey resident, American citizen votes were canceled out by illegal aliens doing what is illegal for them to do—squirrel—nothing to see here, move along.

What about the DOJ estimated 35K registered illegals? Squirrel—New Jersey residents can count on Governor Mickey Sherrill to—um, er, checks CRAP strategery dichotomy—protect the people of New Jersey. Notwithstanding that horse got loose for 400 New Jersey voters. From the piece:

Then Gov. Mikie Sherrill signaled that she would try to protect the illegal voters

“It would be really the utmost hypocrisy for the state to charge them when it’s our fault,” Gov. Mikie Sherrill said. “However, I would not put it past the federal government, so we are working very hard on ways in which we can protect people here.”

And: Sherrill has said there is “no evidence” the 400 people swayed the outcome of an election. In a statement Wednesday, a spokesperson for Sherrill suggested the state would push back against the DOJ request — but did not outright say the state would not comply.

To recap the strategery, illegals are not registered and can’t vote, 6.6k are registered but didn’t vote, 400 did vote but that was our mistake, there is no evidence those votes made any difference, and we will protect those who voted illegally because it was our fault. And we will not cooperate by disclosing information to DOJ.

The sliding strategery dichotomy scale has reached the fourth level—akin to the Kubler-Ross model. Only for politics it roughly goes Denial, Anger/righteous indignation, Acknowledgement w/Faux contrition/Attack the messenger(s,)/blame it on others/the system/Bad Orange Man, and Attack w/Platitude spouting with virtuous overtones about protecting the people/Patriotism.

One of the inexplicable ramifications of this style of politics over the last four decades as practiced by many of our leading politicians is the often “no-consequence” outcome nature of these “faux paus” or policy malfeasance propagated by this shallow, survivalist thinking by politicians and pundits alike.

Where the sole objective is to outlive the news cycle and fight another day. Often bolstered as much by time itself or the distracting support as needed provided by the LSMBTGANF.

You can tell it is ongoing when the lead headlines are “republicans pounce, opponents complain or people noticed.” Such efforts contribute to inoculating the politicians guilty of the malfeasance and misfeasance, while in this case elevating many of these illegals into a special, protected or privileged class over their citizen counterparts.

Two aspects emerging to undermine Sherrill’s CRAP strategery include her feeble attempts to throw her predecessor and a contractor under the bus. This latest headline by the contractor of the software that registers DMV patrons debunks the latter attempt.

Sherrill mentioned the software suffered a “glitch” that allowed this to happen. The contractor has debunked that nonsense, declaring that facet of the product is a feature known about to New Jersey officials and is not a flaw: oh, my!

The other emerging fact relating to whether the illegal voting made any difference was debunked by Dan Bongino on his 23 July Podcast through a simple artificial intelligence capability search that reported a number of political races in New Jersey were decided by 100 votes or less: including state legislative races, county offices, municipal office, school board elections and local ballot questions.

Good luck figuring out the next step in the CRAP strategery. Meanwhile, Sherrill is doubling down by stone walling DOJ’s attempts to help the state figure out the magnitude of this issue.

As this plays out I want to return to and expand upon this idea of how 21st century politicians like Sherrill are following the playbook of their predecessors who were terrible examples but nonetheless survived their trials and tribulations to fight another day.

Including the two poster children, plank holding scandal survivors, Obama-with his Unaffordable Care Act lies, and Clinton with his bumper sticker-like: “I did not have sex with that woman.”

Oh, my indeed!
