A juror from the Lindsay Clancy trial is speaking out for the zillionith time. Paula Devlin, age 65, a self-described Liberal activist, can’t stay away from the camera. She gave an hour-long interview on September 18th, this one with WJAR, NBC10 in Cranston, Rhode Island about various aspects of the trial, including testimony and deliberations. “This could really be a stepping stone for what women go through when they have babies and what post-partum looks like,” said Devlin, thus admitting that she was an activist for Lindsay Clancy and failed her duty as a juror: Jurors are ONLY supposed to consider the evidence and testimony.
Clancy admitted to killing her three children in January 2023. She was charged with triple murder for systematic strangulations of eight-month-old Callan, 3-year-old Dawson and 5-year-old Cora. “She didn’t know what she was doing. Now she does,” claims Devlin. Prosecutors argued Clancy’s actions were deliberate. “I have said a zillion times that there was no evidence presented to us that showed us anything other than a loving, wonderful person in every aspect,” Devlin said. “I really should be standing on a soapbox. My passion is coming out,” Devlin stated at the end of her latest interview.
“We tried to listen to each other and even people that had opposing things,” Devlin said. “If they had a piece of evidence that really made them feel strongly the way they were feeling, I wanted to understand that because I wanted to make sure that I was doing the right thing, looking at all the evidence.”
“I feel like eleven to one speaks volumes, and I don’t think it would be in anybody’s interest to put all of these people through all of this again,” Devlin said.
CATHOLICS & REPUBLICANS ARE LIVING BEHIND ENEMY LINES
The lone juror, Michael P. Desronvil, a Catholic and a Republican, decided to speak after other jurors, Liberal activists, made claims about him that he says are untrue. He provided a short statement to NewsNation on Thursday via his attorney, saying:
“I didn’t have any doubts. As I tried to explain different possible theories during deliberation, I kept getting cut off as if I had doubts based on the evidence present. Based on all the physical evidence, key witnesses, and what the prosecution presents, I thought it was enough proof that she (Clancy) knew exactly what she was doing and planned.“
At the end of her interview Devlin lamented that some of her fellow jurors/activists are being harassed by “the haters” but expressed no concerns that interviews given by herself and her fellow Liberal activists have forced Michael into hiding. “Haters?” The Left has a lock on hate.
JUDGE DECLARED A MISTRIAL
The judge declared a mistrial on September 4th after the jury failed to reach a unanimous verdict due to a single juror holdout, leaving the case unresolved. A court hearing on September 29th will determine the next steps.
