Operation Let Them Speak Is Underway: Blue State Idjiotic Politics Exemplified By Their Big Tent And the DSA

The Use Of Irony And The Needle In Politics: We Need More Of It

Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana is a quote machine whose commentary is reminiscent of Will Rogers. Combining common sense, irony, truth and unvarnished sarcasm, he often applies a soft-gloved hammer to his audience but particularly appointment nominees in a subtle, whimsical and clever way that resonates with all who hear it.

My favorite among tough competition is his campaign motto for the republicans in 2026 that he has been touting for several years now called “Operation let them speak, which is an upgrade of his long-standing plan focused on highlighting the idjiotcy of AOC.

This theme is catching on as even the slowest of republicans have figured out that the democrat party “big tent” mantra is backfiring on them as the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) get more airtime and exposure to the public—which in politics is usually a good thing—but in this case is showing too much leg given their aberrant policy statements.

Which is bad enough to begin with. What is worse is that you have many in the LSMBTGANF entertaining these dotards as guests on what are supposed to be news shows and podcasts, and many are either emboldened to gleefully explain their insane communist based policies or to obfuscate and refuse to answer the softball questions and discuss their policies.

Frustrating their host and audiences alike. Which is understandable because most of the spokesman for the DSA are indoctrinated jingoists who specialize in bumper stickers and trite sayings.

The base of their policy discussions centers around a handful of slogans or ideas that have been tried to various degrees in various places with no success to speak of, nor certainly to brag about.

The emergence of this group is not new and has been building for quite some time. What today passes for an expanding, big tent for the democrats is in reality turning out to be an unholy alliance that mimics the French Revolution in the quest for increasingly dogmatic litmus tests of validation of fitness for the cause in terms of beliefs.

Even the relatively moderate speaker Johnson is taking to ripping his minority leader in the house over his inability to get control of his party, while he continues touting the goodness of the Big Tent theory.

Not everybody is going to be welcome. Maybe you are pro-woman’s health–abortion–right up to and arguably after birth. You support government control of the means of production.

You support Medicare or government provided healthcare for everybody even if canceling policy like under the Unaffordable Care Act is necessary: you support expanding it. You support a “universal income” (whatever that really means.) Pro-LGBTQASP+MOUSE, men in women’s sports, all of this.

But you are on the fence about genital mutilation and although you are pro-Hamas (Palestine,) you believe in a two-state solution (not the abolition of Israel or annihilation of the Jews,) a discussion that has become like a familiar minority discussion: I have a lot of Jewish friends.

You are going to be kicked out of the tent for those last two views and viva la revolution, French style (get in line to see the guillotine.)

Emerging polls display what this debate is all about for any willing to believe it. Recent polls show the top two issues for the midterm vote are the economy at 54% and migration at 28%. All the way down at number 14 on the list is climate change at 3%. With a margin of error at ~6%, climate is not on anybody’s mind…

This is not new, or novel, or unique, or a pathway for success from a unity standpoint for democrats.

Besides the emergence of party leaders decrying what truly represents a complicated Twister-like merger of incongruent beliefs, at the core of the movement there is the existing but unacknowledged tension between groups that are incompatible.

As pointed out by James Carville, Senator John Fetterman, former democrat chief counsel for the house Julian Epstein and many, many others. From the Fetterman piece:

“The Democratic Party is becoming the party of socialism. 58% view socialism positively. 50% view capitalism negatively. I’m a proud free market capitalist. This is lunacy,” Fetterman wrote on social media Sunday afternoon.

And:

“And now this has just become — really, it’s just been the dancing days of the dirtbag left. You know, some of these candidates are outrageous,” Fetterman said, noting some Democratic nominees have proposed the abolishment of Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, the police and the border.

From Julian Epstein:

Former Democratic Chief Counsel for the House Judiciary Committee Julian Epstein said during an appearance on “The Alex Marlow Show” that the Democratic Socialists of America should be understood as a Communist organization. Epstein pointed to recent data about the DSA’s policy committee, which he described as the group’s governing board. He said 51% of the committee openly embraces Communism, Marxism, or Marxist-Leninism.

Which is obvious and a plain truth that cannot hide behind obfuscation, slick talking, marketing and running out the clock. The fact that communism has been gaining in popularity among youth is a sad travesty and an indictment of our education system.

They are endorsing and championing failed and flawed policies that history has proven never worked and have been responsible for tens if not hundreds of millions of deaths when and wherever practiced. It is an easily discovered fact.

Nobody in their right mind who hasn’t been indoctrinated through the Stepford-like training that is our modern education system, believes that these policies are sane, never mind workable.

Which is the only potential downside to the “Let them speak” campaign of Senator Kennedy. Many young voters are naïve enough to buy into the notion of socialism seemingly because of the word “social.”

Lapping up like gospel the silly notion that things like civil and social services–fire, police, garbage collection—are elements of our democracy—our constitutional republic—emblematic of socialism in action.

Which is ironic in that most DSA card carrying communists want to revive the bumper sticker of reimagining law enforcement by defunding the police.

Tell us that civics and history are not being taught to our children without saying a word.

What is most ironic about this attack on capitalism, democracy and western values is that these DSA candidates are very vocal and forthcoming about their platform and their intent to take down America as we know it. In the vein of what Obama put forth as a desire to fundamentally restructure America, which later, more honest and bold candidates describe as reimagining America.

This article by Nanacrass provides the detes on the DSA. They aren’t hiding their policies nor are they reluctant to share their beliefs, unless pressed specifically for comment on national news.

From the piece:

Their own words. Their own website.

Go to dsausa.org, the page titled “What is Democratic Socialism?” Here’s what it says, and I’m quoting their published language:

They describe capitalism as a system designed by the owning class to exploit the rest of us for their own profits. They say they want to replace it. Not reform it. Not regulate it. Replace it.

They say, direct quote, they want to “collectively own the key economic drivers that dominate our lives, such as energy production and transportation.”

Collectively own. The key economic drivers. Energy. Transportation. That’s their words, on their website, right now.

And here’s the line almost nobody reads, and it’s the most important sentence on the entire page:

“Our vision pushes further than historic social democracy.”

Read that again. Further than social democracy. Social democracy is the Scandinavian model: the welfare state layered atop a capitalist market economy. DSA is telling you, in writing, that Denmark is not the destination. Denmark is a rest stop. Their own youth wing (YDSA) publishes a definitions page that spells it out even more plainly: social democracy seeks to manage a capitalist economy, while democratic socialism, in their phrase, requires a large-scale upending of capitalist institutions.

So when a DSA supporter points at Copenhagen and says “that’s all we want,” they are contradicting their own organisation’s published platform. Either they haven’t read it, or they’re hoping you haven’t.

There is something ironic about how slow the entirety of the LSMBTGANF has been about sounding the alarm on what has been recognized by increasing numbers of democrats as a threat to their party. Which is the fruition of communist goals to undermine America.

Whereas the same LSMBTGANF was only too willing to loudly and proudly spread the propaganda of the made up narrative of Russian election interference and scams like the Hunter Biden laptop being a Russian operation.

But many seem to be awakening to the threat to the democratic party in a better late than never scenario.

One hopes the voters will get informed and stop this nonsense. The recent performance in Michigan of Al Sayed is instructive, in that he represents the emergence of another element on the fork of unholy alliances representing leftist socialists and the Islamic radicals pulling in the same direction.

A seemingly impossible marriage from many different standpoints, although Al Sayed underperformed the polls by double digits in eking out a primary victory that was less than 2% in the final analysis in what was projected as a double-digit victory.

Depending on the poll, Sayed is trailing his republican opponent and surprisingly lacks support of groups that one would assume represent elements of his base.

Which one would hope signals some sanity as we head into the mid-terms.

Let them speak!!!
