Hillary Exposed: Et Tu Barry? (Part 7)

Parts 1-5 built a case for White House involvement in choreographing efforts across our government to collude with the HRC Campaign. The specific focus was on the critical period from July 2016 on into November 2016 where HRC was cleared twice by the FBI for her illegal email server. Additionally, she redoubled efforts to portray and smear candidate Trump as a puppet of Putin, which resulted in an Intelligence Community (IC) Investigative Referral to the FBI documenting her decision. HRC was aided greatly by CIA Director John Brennan in this effort, as well as some impossibly random actions-that based on history and the acts and actors involved-can’t possibly be random-that cleared away any and all impediments to her election chances. And it is clear that Brennan was acting out of desperation to maintain his inside track to the DNI position when HRC won.

I also provided some background detail on government accountability processes with a focus on the Office of the Inspector General (OIG.) Part 6 highlighted the everyday lies of the LSMBTG* maintaining the Russia Hoax, in particular the court documented admission that Rachel Madcow-in particular-is full of schiff. Finally, I touched upon a number of exemplars to support my premise on how long the FBI has been rogue: Comey-and his successor-are not new, unusual or different than what we’ve seen from a politicized FBI over the last 60 years.

The leadership climate set by the president within and across our government inspires a lot of actions, particularly those undertaken in support of out of the “mainstream issues,” which increasingly are those done by executive order and not legislation, being issues that are not widely supported by the public. I would make the case that our military was somewhat inoculated or kept its wits about it, hunkered down doing business right up until the Obama years.

That is not to say there weren’t some political imbroglios during the Bush years, for instance the falling from grace of General Eric Shinseki, the Army Chief of Staff who many felt was destined to become the first Asian-American Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Shinseki was not only the first Asian-American four star general, but he was also later the first Asian American Veterans Affairs Secretary. He served two tours in Vietnam, earning three Bronze Star Medals for valor and two purple hearts. Many were unaware that he lost a leg during that time.

During Shinseki’s Iraq testimony to the Senate Armed Services Committee, he opined that the Army was going to need several hundred thousand soldiers on the ground to secure the peace. This was many more soldiers than Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld and Dep SECDEF Wolfowitz were calling for, and they quickly rebuked Shinseki publicly. His influence with the Joint Chiefs fell precipitously after this happened and many attribute this incident to his subsequent retirement, but he had announced his retirement long before this incident occurred. Many would argue that Shinseki was much closer to the correct number of soldiers required than the other two.

A disagreement over numbers is a lot different than what we saw over the Obama administration timeframe and more importantly the aftereffects. The deleterious and adverse effect a leader can have over the course of time is instructive to think through before jumping into this topic. If you think about something like a Fibonaci sequence or progression, where you start out with 1-2-3-5-8-13-21-34-55-89… and then all hell breaks loose. Consider that when a president appoints one Richard “Dick” Levine to a high post where he has a voice in policy, hirings, promotions, etc., ad nauseum-and the next thing you know you have trans propaganda being reflected in every United States government official policy. You read through some innocuous information pamphlet on forestry-and there is a reference to trans rights or LGBTQ. Or you have ceiling breakers making the rounds with the states and visiting governors they are “sympatico” with-which seems like a stretch to make a weird point-so I will get away from this esoterica-but leave this right here-Mayor Pete and Gov Polis talk about transportation.

I’ve heard different numbers and figures thrown around, but it is said that-much like with the Department of Justice where a new president or DOJ head solicits resignations to “cull” the force of the previous administration cooties-a righteous activity when routinely done by a democrat, but an outrageous affront to dignity and the law and good order when a republican similarly does it-the Pentagon via the SECDEF appoints some ~1100-1400 largely non-congressionally approved leaders as part of this process….which is the context in which to think through why a Fibonacci progression could be significant over a president’s term-particularly when it’s a “two-fer.”

Tennis apology about the long setup, but I think this article by Federalist contributing author Margot Cleveland in October 2021 sums up my larger point to a fare thee well and takes the cake-Rep. Nunes Hammers Military General Over Politicized Purge of Career Intelligence Official -and explains the above much better than any little rant I could put together. When I read this account of how a four-star general skirted and flaunted-played “cutesy” with the rules-refusing to confirm the recommendation of the promotion board and NSA selection official-seemingly because Orange Man Bad-by violating the law, his agency policy that he was bound to enforce by his oath of office and to the constitution, as well as the dirty dealings done to the subject of this article-Naval Officer Michael Ellis-it makes me embarrassed to have been a part of the military this senior officer purportedly represents: what happened to “not lie, cheat or steal, nor tolerate those who dohe cried?

The Pentagon or DNI OIG should have investigated the above case-General “Serpentini” should have been placed on administrative leave while it played out-and if the facts as outlined in Cleveland’s story and Nunes inquiry were verified, he should be retired from service for “inappropriate actions, dereliction of duty and allowing politics to interfere with official military business.”

I would like to continue in a rhetorical vein but what has happened to our military? This is an example of what I referred to as the “bigotry of low expectations,” gateway drugs, broken window policy policing. In another “incident,” why did POTUS or his staff have to take the action to “fire” LTC Vindman, whose testimony to the house impeachment fiasco told everybody who listened that he was upset that POTUS wasn’t following the Ukraine policy recommendations of the National Security Staff point paper in an official leader to leader phone call? It’s like DJT-POTUS-thought he knew better than his subject matter expert staff: what chutzpah…Now there had been incidents with Vindman long before this but none apparently were reflected in any of his ratings or official military jacket in a way that prevented him from achieving the later post to the WH-which at face value he was perfect for with his unique background-having been born in Ukraine-and his native language skills.

What would I have done? Well, I would like to believe that in the Army I served in, Vindman would have received a call from his detailer or branch manager telling him to report to the Hoffman building tomorrow morning, 0730 sharp-retirements branch appointment-bring a lunch and some butt salve cream: no ifs, ands, buts, or nyets.

The leader setting the example in these cases-using that term loosely-thoroughly woke and modern white rage investigator Gen Milley (it’s okay, I already called for him to be fired over the following incident and Afghanistan-and so did 90 other FO/GOs) had already publicly apologized for appearing with POTUS and the SECDEF in the wake of the ANTIFA and BLM riots-you no doubt recall the mostly peaceful protests where they set fire to St. John’s Church, attempted to take down the famous Jefferson Statue by the WH, and caused such mayhem and havoc that the President of the United States, first family and others had to be evacuated from the WH to the bunker that was established to protect against terrorist attacks. Some 110 secret service and law enforcement personnel were injured-the DC Capital police were not deployed to help by Mayor Muriel “bow-wow” Bowser, who had just allowed an adjoining strip of road to be named “BLM Parkway.”

Question from the back: if there was an insurrection or coup attempt against POTUS and the WH, what would be different from this incident? Another one: Was GEN Milley unaware of the carnage that night, the damage to the area surrounding the WH, the burning of the church, the injuries to the defenders and the evacuation of the WH for the safety of the president and first family?

I would submit to close on my point that if America’s military can be so deleteriously degraded by what I guess I have named the government personnel “Fibonacci Effect,” although I have only used a few egregious examples-there are scores of them-and more emerging as we speak, with concomitant results like Afghanistan and the unfolding disaster in Ukraine-where we seem to be rudderless and leaderless: and I don’t want to go on a sideways rant about how the Bad Orange Man was beclowning America calling out NATO-the results could lead us to war-cats and dogs sleeping together, oh, my! Only to have Biden right out of the gate lose and soil himself over Afghanistan, do nothing about Ukraine-NATO is somewhat leaderless without America-get finessed through Green New Dealery out of pursuit of energy independence-undoing DJT’s European LNG Putin finesse-and solidifying Russia’s energy domination over Europe-which is likely the only source of trade/income funding his maniac actions (a huge portion of Russia’s under $2 trillion GDP.)

And yes-I still have a point to make (damnit,) and that is that if the military could be impacted by this technique of the “Fibonacci Effect,” it is far easier to do the same thing-faster-to the government civilian service workforce of some 2.4M people.

America can’t survive under such conditions where leaders empowered to do the right thing, don’t. Neither can America thrive if the structure established to hold them accountable-to and by citizens-elected officials-we the people-for whom these officials act in doing the people’s business-are okay with such behavior: so long as the deceit, lies, manipulation, collusion, malfeasance and cover-up are going the “right way,” in a direction that supports their beliefs or political party or “the team” or cause du jour or celebre.

The insidious nature of the LSMBTG cheerleading for serpent leaders manifests itself in an example I like to use as it is still somewhat in dispute today because of the above-and that would be President Clinton’s impeachment. When a leader lapses in judgement-whether moral or ethical-whatever the circumstances-it is okay to acknowledge it and let the consequences play out: we’re not talking about the Jimmy Carter variety of “lusting in his heart.” It would have been reasonable for people to agree that Clinton had a such a lapse, admit it, apologize, come clean and take your medicine. When he went all-in that it would not be discovered, and then compounded it by cheekily lying under oath and giving combative testimony in circumstances where-as a lawyer-he knew the risks-rolled the dice-and lost, reasonable people could have agreed at that point that first he messed up, and then tried to cover it up: and the cover up always ends up taking down the “dog.”

But it was too much to ask of the LSMBTG and pundits to be honest in this dialogue about presidential accountability. The narrative switched to his defense-by going on offense-of it being a personal matter and attacks on Special Council Judge Starr, who was likely flummoxed and astounded to discover that he was suddenly the bad guy in all this, as was 22-year-old Monica Lewinsky. Sides were chosen, positions were established, and we went through a very divisive time in our history that I don’t think we’ve recovered from as a country. Like a ship listing to one side with a weight and balance problem, each incident since seems to have solidified and widened the divide between the parties.

How slippery was the slope that links the sordid President Clinton affair with a whole of government effort to tear down the Bad Orange Man?
