So, Tucker Carlson is upset that his show is referred to as the ‘Organ of Russian Disinformation’, Really? Tucker is only about ratings and nothing more. Sure he can get professionals and even retired military experts to come on his show. Just like CNN, the experts are paid to do what they do and that is back up whatever the host is reporting on whether it is the truth or not.
After weeks of allegedly defending Vladimir Putin and showing clips of his show on Russian state media, Tucker Carlson is outraged at what has been described as a promoter of Russian disinformation.
The Russian government is ordering the media to use more footage of Fox News host Tucker Carlson criticizing the United States and defending Russia’s war against Ukraine, a new report says. Tucker Carlson is again using his Tony spot at the top of Fox News’ prime-time chart to promote some conspiracy theories about Russia’s war with Ukraine.
A memo, leaked March 3 from Russia’s Information and Telecommunications Support Department, called on pro-government media outlets to use excerpts from Tucker Carlson’s Fox News prime-time show. According to Mother Jones, Russia has instructed its media outlets to show clips of Carlson “as much as possible” because of his critical views of US politics.
Links to documents from Fox News host Tucker Carlson are included in a section titled “Winning the Information War,” which asks Russian journalists to contribute comprehensive coverage of the Russian government, along with negative coverage of Ukraine.
In the early days of Russia’s bombardment of Ukrainian cities, Misha Katsurin, a restaurateur who lives near Kyiv in the western part of the country, was having trouble getting through to his 58-year-old father in Russia.
The phone line worked fine, but the connection between father and son was suffering a major disconnect.
“When I called him to tell him what’s going on in my family, and in my city, he starts arguing with me and he told me that, ‘No, everything is not like you are talking about,’” Katsurin said in an interview with CNN.
Like many older Russians, Katsurin’s father doesn’t use the internet and gets most of his news from state TV, and he was quick to argue with his son based on the Kremlin version of the war.
More recently, Tucker Carlson has been more vocal about Russian disinformation, and he did so when a new set of topics for discussion in the Kremlin once again prompted Russian reporters to quote the Fox Fox host. In this case, the Kremlin used more disinformation than Tucker Carlson to spread disinformation in Moscow.
According to a new report, the Russian government is instructing media outlets to use more clips of Fox News host Tucker Carlson criticizing the United States and defending Russia for its war against Ukraine.
Progressive outlet Mother Jones obtained a document called “For Media and Commentators,” which was reportedly part of several memos from Russia’s Department of Information and Telecommunications Support. The memos were provided by “a contributor to a national Russian media outlet who asked not to be identified.”
“It is essential to use as much as possible fragments of broadcasts of the popular Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who sharply criticizes the actions of the United States [and] Nato, their negative role in unleashing the conflict in Ukraine, [and] the defiantly provocative behavior from the leadership of the eastern countries and Nato towards the Russian Federation and towards President Putin, personally,” the memo says, according to a translation by Mother Jones. ‘Reporting by mediaite.com’
Russian state media also broadcast Carlson’s conversation with retired Colonel Douglas McGregor, who predicted that Russia would “destroy” Ukrainian troops if they didn’t surrender. Indeed, on Tuesday, Maryland Democratic Sen. Chris Van Hollen accused Carlson of spreading misinformation about the lab.
Carlson said in a March 9 broadcast that American and Western media have tried to deny the existence of the labs. However, fact-checkers note that the U.S. government has previously said that Ukrainian biological weapons labs are looking for possible outbreaks, not biological weapons, as Russian sources have long claimed.
In fact, the U.S. government has said that Russia’s claim that the U.S. possesses biological weapons in Ukraine could be a front for Russia to launch its own biological attack, thereby blaming the attack on the United States or Ukraine.
Anyway, back to Tucker Carlson, who spent a lot of time on Tucker Carlson’s show talking about the possibility of U.S. involvement in Ukraine’s illegal biological weapons research. Even before it passed, Russia had told anyone describing the conflict, which Putin called a “special military operation,” with words like “war,” “invasion,” or “attack,” “you could be swayed by fake news. be judged.

Thank You Michael.
It’s long since past the time someone pulled Carlson aside and, quite pointedly, madke him aware of just how insane and unhinged these anti-Ukraine-support rants actually are.
Carlson is fond of suggesting that rendering Military Armaments and Materiel aid to Ukraine is tantamount to prolonging the suffering of Ukrainians. Well, using THAT logic, should we EMBARGO such military aid? Would that SHORTEN that suffering? The question answers itself.
I pretty much don’t give a rat’s ass what anyone thinks of Volodymyr Zelensky or Vladimir Putin. I have exactly the same level of concern about Zelensky’s war on the Russians in the eastern provinces of Ukraine that are attempting to overthrow the legitimately elected government of the country. They are perfectly free to relocate to Russia or Belarus.
The Ukrainians have demonstrated, beyond ANY doubt, that they DO NOT INTEND to capitulate to Putin’s CRIMINAL attack on the people of Ukraine. For as long as THEY are willing to bear the burden of their own defense then I’m perfectly willing to see money that might otherwise be sent to the Terrorists in Teheran sent, instead, to Zelensky’s forces fighting the Russians. I want to see Putin’s expansionist dreams CRUSHED into the mud and mire of the Ukrainian soil. He is a megalomaniac and a version of the suffering he is inflicting on the civilian population of Ukraine needs to be visited upon him and those keeping him in power.
There are murmurings of “But Putin’s a madman with nukes.” or things in that vein. Putin is unpredictable. He demonstrated, very early on, that he is PERFECTLY WILLING TO MURDER CHILDREN if things do not go his way, as he did when terrorists took 300 children hostage in Chechnya. When the terrorists didn’t surrender and detonated one of their devices, he UNLOADED on the facility without the slightest regard to those children.
But whether he would be willing to see what is left of the Russian Empire reduced to rubble by a nuclear response to his initial attack is another matter. That would be an event from which he not only would not escape but would become his final historical act. Instead of being the second coming of Peter the Great he would become the second coming of Mikhail Gorbechev and would be as reviled as Adolph Hitler.
Wow Bob, I never expected such a thorough response to my article. Thank you for seeing the same things I’m seeing not just with Tucker but with some of our Representatives. I plan on doing so writings about a few of them.
I’m looking forward to them, Michael. Carlson has carved out a nice niche for himself in Prime Time as well as in the hearts and minds of a very large swath of Conservatives. I like and agree with most, thought not nearly all, of what he has to say on those topics that are important to me.
But his take on materiel aid to Ukraine is simply lunatic. Perhaps some pushback by you and those you inspire and embolden will give him reason to re-assess his views on the question.
Sorry, but provide some receipts on quotes from Carlson being against Ukraine. I cannot remember or find any. Plus, Tucker has NEVER said anything about “bioweapons” labs in Ukraine. Go look at Nuland’s testimony under oath to the Senate and Sen Rubio’s question. Calling out facts that are inconvenient is not anti-Ukraine.
Hear! Hear!
Well said, GredginFla.

Tucker Carlson has been proven correct on Ukraine bio labs funded by the U.S. This isn’t Russian disinformation funneled through Carlson. The disinformation and slight of hand has come from our State Dept pin striped suits claiming the U.S. owns no bio labs in Ukraine. No one accused the U.S. owning bio labs in Ukraine. Zelensky is no democrat. He may be a Democrat, though. He just suspended ALL opposition parties in Ukraine. https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2022/03/sovereign-democracy-ukraine-zelenskyy-suspends-11-opposition-parties-becoming-head-one-party-state/ So much for democracy. This war isn’t completely unprovoked. NATO has been creeping closer and closer to Russia for years. There is plenty of propaganda to go around. Much of it comes from D.C.
Hiram Johnson (1866-1945) is credited with coining the statement during WWI: “The first casualty, when war comes, is truth.” Maybe he borrowed from Aeschylus, who created ancient Greek tragedy. In any case, war doesn’t promote truth-telling. On the contrary.
As for truth coming from governments, fuhgeddaboudit. All governments lie. Some are just better at it than others.
What we (may) know of truth ref. Russia v. Ukraine boils down to this:
(1) Putin heard Biden’s stupid statement that, on its face, seemed to sanction an incursion by Russia into Ukraine. Joe spoke his mind – and his mind is…damaged. Putin saw a “Green Light”.
(2) The Russians are brutal fighters. As are Ukrainians.
(3) The Russians are knowingly killing Ukrainian civilians: Non-combatant men, women and children. Of all ages. The second casualties of war are civilians. The Ukrainians are getting revenge.
(4) Those who favor a NATO no-fly zone over Ukraine are advocating for a wider war. Mittens Romney and Lindsey Gramnisty are not going to fight in that expanded war.
(5) Those pushing war-materiel aid to Ukraine are doing what China and Russian did for North Vietnam and the VC, and then, later, what the US did for those who fought the Russians in Afghanistan. Tit for tat.
Much of what has emerged beyond that is white noise. IMHO
The complete truth about bio-labs in Ukraine is not yet clear. And may never be so.
Absolutely right. Most of the responses contain a lot of half truths or flat out misinformation from political big mouths wanting to escalate.
Thank you!
Tucker may not have gotten everything right about the war, but he has made good points about why we should not involve ourselves in that war. We are a part of NATO, which should be leading any aid and defense of Ukraine, if anyone should, for NATO’s own collective self interest. It’s not our war to fight. But saying that, we allowed this mess to happen for a number of reasons. One being a stolen election. Trump armed Ukraine when other members of NATO were still not keeping up with their obligations to their membership. Notice that Putin took advantage of a weak US president, after Trump was gone, which should have been expected, since Putin took Crimea during the Obama administration, and certain things that were uttered on a live mic between Obama and Medvedev demonstrated who were the real bad actors.
This war has already happened, and whatever one thinks about whether or not we should be involved, is moot. We are involved, and will continue to be involved. It is inevitable.
I haven’t heard anything from Tucker Carlson that I disagree with, other than the discussion about those Bio labs, and I am not sure if they aren’t leftover Soviet labs. I’ll have to defer to others about that.
Just remember who has a lot to gain by executing this war. Two key people: Joe and Hunter Biden, if not several other Democrats, like Hillary Clinton. Putin’s role was inevitable. He wants the old Soviet Union back.
Back in the 90s, Bill Clinton lobbed a missile or two towards the desert when a certain blue dress got mentioned. Just remember that a Democrat will start a war over trite issues, like personal political survival.
“It’s not our war to fight.” Spot-on, Mr. Berwind. Bravo!
