The similarity between groundhogs and Democrats?

I had a rodent problem that my wife absolutely refuses to let me deal with. I want to agree with her that those furry things can be cute, but! The line was drawn when a couple years ago immediately after I planted my onions, broccoli, cabbage and some other plants. I’m not sure if I left the fence opened the night it happened, but those furry creatures took every piece of green sticking up from the soil, in one night. It was kind of funny when I went down the next morning and discovered the theft. It reminds me of Democrats, particularly of the one currently residing in the White House.

I know to expect the left to take whatever they can from the rest of us, like gas, baby food, guns, and everything else, doesn’t make it right, it just happens. What bothers me most, is the effort I put into my garden, that just went “poof!”. But I can get over the groundhog, because it relies on instincts, not Karl Marx. I can re-plant my garden, not so much about what leftists do.

What about all those tanks of gasoline that were filled during Trump’s first administration, that were with gas costing $2.50 or so a gallon? Someone made some effort to make an economy work, while this latest excuse for a president has done everything possible to reverse it, because Trump. Only because Trump! I don’t know, but I suspect that anyone who would do what the left has done, so blatantly, it is reasonable to just go on and call them the enemy, of we people and our form of government.

A groundhog is not an enemy. It has the God given talents that all lower animals have, like eat, procreate(and not have to worry about some leftist and Planned Parenthood coming around). The groundhog just does what it does. It doesn’t know anything about property rights, and will invade your crawlspace, dig a hole underneath your concrete drive or take over a stump, and get on with life.

A leftist knows better. It does all those things, even has babies, but the leftist does it with a desire to be in control of all us two legged animals, while thinning out the herd. Emphasis on thinning out the herd, because leftists can’t have too many people to rule over, especially of a particular skin color. A groundhog might have some structure I don’t know about, but it can’t be leftist. It wants to live, have babies, eat what you let it, but the groundhog knows when to run, at least. The left just doubles down and tries to make you believe more lies, so they can rule.

I’ve decided I would rather have the groundhogs as neighbors because they learned what my two puppies can do, so they steer clear. I’ve gotten better at guarding my garden, also. No in the night intrusions, lately. I thought about shooting the groundhogs, but when faced with comparing what the groundhog does, to leftists, I’ll save my ammunition for the real culprits.

So, I’ll go with the wishes of my wife, but the leftists better beware. Groundhogs have an excuse. It’s the leftists who don’t.
