Immigration – What do we do with the families?

Immigration is a key element of this Nation’s growth and in many ways, it is key to filling the gap between jobs available and people qualified to fill those jobs.  We have a VISA program and a green-card immigration program that places people in a que for jobs and a process to become a naturalized citizen of the United States.  It takes time to fulfill all the requirements.

In addition to the legal immigration, we have illegal immigration.  Presently, it is at an all-time level with families turning themselves into the Border Patrol, promising to show up at the agreed time to review the asylum request.

The Marxist progressive Democrats are pushing this invasion, for they want to obtain more voters.  These racist politicians believe that by providing funds and money, they can get a vote as a payment for the welfare they provide.  These racist politicians believe that brown people cannot make it without governmental help.  These racist politicians do not care about the chaos, they want more voters to cement their power grab.  The illegal crossings during this Obama approved invasion  are staggering, the wave of illegal families could shift Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, and other small conservative States.

It is wrong and illegal, but the spineless GOP have no counter program.  The GOP is allowing another slave society to be formed by the Democrats where dreams are crushed, and values are overturned among foreign family units.  The families receive welfare and in return promise to vote for the big D, or should I say the big C for communism.

One solution is to elect a strong President, turn over the Senate with politicians that believe in the Rule of Law, close the borders and deport the illegal immigrants.  Rest assured, there are thousands that should be deported due to crimes committed here and abroad.  I strongly believe that anyone that does not register with the Border Patrol, all those that sneak across, they should be found, arrested, and deported with absolutely no questions asked.

But what about the rest?  What about the families with children?  And what about the young men who present themselves to the Border Patrol?  Is there anything we can do for them?  As conservatives, our goal should be to flip them, to educate them on the values of conservatism, on the benefits of freedom and on the atrocities associated with socialism, the beginning of communism as defined by Karl Marx.

Please hear me out.  What does it mean to “flip them”?

For years I have heard my brother-in-law and brothers tell me about the benefit of hard-working Central Americans.  Coupled with their observations, I have my own.  I have spent time south of the border installing water treatment equipment.  I have met numerous “illegal” immigrants who spent years in the United States working under the table.  Most of the earnings were sent home.  They rented apartments and hot bunked, like sailors on a submarine!  And when they saved enough money, they returned home, found a wife, purchased a home and made a family.

I have always supported the E-Verify system because it takes workers out of the shadows and allows them to work in the sunlight.  I consider illegal immigrant workers living in the shadows to be part of the Republican and Chamber of Commerce slave trade, where the rich take advantage of workers solving a personal issue of survival, while investing in the future.   But E-Verify has never worked because no one cares about those workers, they only care about keeping the price of food and commodities low.

Remember, these immigrants do the job no Americans will do!  Perhaps if we paid them according to the wage scales in the various States, more Americans would take jobs and there would still be jobs available for enterprising immigrants.

The Republican Party has a strong ally in the naturalized Cuban American citizens.  These refugees fled their homeland, forfeiting homes, other property and many cars made in the 1950’s.  The Cuban Americans understand communism, they hate communism and they will do whatever they can to vote against any party who embraces communism, including the marxist progressive Democrats.  It is no wonder that the current President will not accept refugees from Cuba.

So, what do Cuban refugees have in common with refugees from south of the border?

First and foremost, the predominant religion in Mexico and other Central American countries is the Catholicism.  Many of these people embrace the divinity of Jesus and have a profound belief in the Almighty.  They understand the Commandments, they understand the Golden Rule, and they believe in life after death.

Second, many of these refugees are family units, escaping a Nation where they have nothing.  They are a nuclear family, a husband and wife and children.  The parents sacrifice everything for the benefit of the children.  The parents struggle to provide for the children.  Families are large, with grandparents, aunts and uncles’ part of the extended family, covering each other’s backs.  And there are young single adults looking for opportunity, like the original settlers of this continent accepting indentured servitude for a chance to own property.

Third, they are proud.  They work, they work hard.  They take any job possible as they want to provide for their children.  Most do not want handouts; they do not want governmental help for they have learned in their native country that governmental assistance has a huge price tag.  In this case, it is a restriction of individual freedom.

But these people are still illegal.  Yes, they approached the gates, they provided their names and the Border Patrol let them in.  Yes, it violates the immigration laws of this Nation, but Congress and the White House are allowing it to happen.  It is very similar to those citizens that were allowed into the Capital by the Capitol Police, when they removed the barricades and requested that those entering be respectful.

So, it seems we have an opportunity to flip these families and workers.  We need to educate these people through public service announcements.  We need to reach out to these people and explain the purpose of a Republic, to understand the purpose of Capitalism.

Is it wrong to create a Red, White, and Blue E-Verify program that says if you do not take government aid, you will not be deported and you will receive a pathway to citizenship if you want it?  Is it wrong to promote a program which educates these immigrants on the greatness of a free society, where they can vote for whomever when they become citizens?  Is it wrong to point out that if they become part of the welfare state, their children will become part of the welfare state and within a few years, this Nation will be like the socialist Nation that they fled?

It seems to me that we need to promote faith, family, and freedom.  Those are our God-given rights; they are the rights that we must protect at all costs.  They are the basic rights that make this Nation strong.  We need to educate all incoming immigrants.
