Yes, the Democrats are that bad; We can’t sit this out.

Yes, the Democrats are that bad, and we can’t sit this out.

Gentlemen, I think if we lose this fight, we lose the war. So if you choose to join us, I’ll be personally very grateful.

Or the nation. Choosing to join this battle is not an option.

I’ve been voting since 1983, and every election is “the most important election in our lifetimes…” The 2000, 2008, 2016 presidential elections were likely the most important in my voting career. But if an off-year election was the most important, 2022 is it.

Last week I received an article from National Review’s Madeleine Kearns, going into great detail on what is at stake with this election. Ms. Kearns calls one-party Democratic of the government “unlikely but plausible.” Also terrifying, as Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi are now looking like the tempering influences on their party’s up and coming radicals.

As of now, the Senate is “moderated” by Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ). “Moderated” is very relative, as both voted for the unfounded 2021 Covid relief bill ($2 trillion), while Manchin voted for a reduced “Inflation Reduction Act” (Orwell smiles again), piling on over $600 billion in debt. Relying on these two “moderates” makes the Sword of Damocles welcoming.

With that as a background, a comprehensive and sobering look at the threat the Democrats pose to the republic.

If the Dems Win It All

Madeleine Kearns

With a House majority and 52 Senate seats, Democrats would have the votes to gut the Senate’s legislative filibuster — the long-standing 60-vote rule for passing most legislation…

…Without needing the votes of Manchin and Sinema, “we could repeal the filibuster and then pass Roe v. Wade into law, voting rights into law,” Massachusetts Democratic senator Elizabeth Warren told me recently in the Capitol. “We can get universal child care, tax reform, and more-meaningful gun-safety regulation. . . . Fairer taxes, like the wealth tax on the very richest, become a real possibility…”

A few more details:

Abortion: The Dems would force through the “Women’s Health Protection Act,” establishing abortion as a guaranteed right from conception up to birth, destroying and restriction set by Roe v Wade or Planned Parenthood v. CaseySpecifically, it “would require all 50 states to allow abortion from viability to birth whenever a midwife, nurse, doctor, or other ‘health care provider’ determined that the continuation of the viable pregnancy posed a risk to the mother’s mental health.” The law would strike down every state limit on abortion, such as parental notification, waiting periods, bans on sex selective abortion (Even China has now ended that), and infanticide (euphemistically called “partial birth abortion”). It would gut religious and conscious protections for health care providers and delete the Hyde Amendment.

LGBTQ: Democrats will continue moving on destroying women’s sports with the Equality Act. School athletes would have to permit transsexuals on the sports team of their choice, as well as their locker room.

Let’s be frank here, this is allowing “males” (they are not men, young men, gentlemen) who could not compete, much less win in male sports. But these shims can dominate the best individual women sports, such as track, swimming and wrestling. For some reason, these “males” being allowed into female locker rooms and seeing young women unclothed is not disturbing to NOW, the Me Too movement, etc.

Immigration: One word, amnesty. The Democrats will allow a fast track to citizenship to the 11 million (actually over 20 million) illegal aliens in this country.

Personally, I think this is what the Democrats (with the support of some RINOs) will push the fastest. Once you have millions of undocumented Democratic legalized and voting, Texas will be flipped blue, and Florida will turn at least purple. Turn Texas, there is no way the Republicans can win the presidency.

Gun “reform:” Unsure, but at least another “assault” weapons ban with limits on magazine capacity

Likely added with “expanded” background checks, ending liability protection on firearm and ammunition manufactures, and other restrictions such as if you’re on the no-fly list, you can’t buy. And you can’t know why you are on the list, how you got on, and how to appeal.

Voting: The “For The People Act” would federalize every election in the country, banning all voter ID laws, attempts to clean up voter rolls, mandate same day registration and voting.

The dead won’t just rise in November, they simply will continue on for at least 200 years. And nothing will change that.

States: Say hello to the states of DC and Puerto Rico, guaranteeing the Democratic party four more senate seats and at least three congressional seats.

Federal Courts: The threat of Biden to pack the courts is not an idle one, even with several democratic senators stating they would not support it. If the Democrats get passed pieces of legislation such as their abortion for all acts, and courts start to throw them out, you can see the senators changing their minds.

Read the full article to get more alarmed. And there is cause for alarm. As I explained to a friend (liberal Dem), who said, “Mike, I want the GOP of 1960, the party that would work with Democrats. My answer, “I want the Democratic party of 1960. The party that actually loved America, not the one wanting to destroy it.” She didn’t like my view, but it’s a fact. Oh, excuse me, not destroy, but fundamentally transform it.

I will disagree with Ms. Kearns on one major issue. She  believes the national polling firms (e.g., FiveThirtyEight) showing the races tightening or the Democrats actually taking a lead. Over the last few election cycles, many polling companies have become openly partisan. Further away from an election, their purpose is to influence public opinion, not to reflect it. As November approaches, you will see a “tightening” of poll results in GOP favor. These companies may be democratic machines, but they also can’t completely destroy their reputation.

Personally, I am sure we will take the House. The Senate is more problematic, not the least of reasons is the current Senate minority leader. Mitch McConnell would rather lose the senate but retain loyal members in the Republican caucus then take the majority with members who may not support him for leader. He is the classic RINO who, for several election cycles at every office, gives the GOP voter the “choice,” “This liberal republican or a democrat. Take your choice.”

What does this mean? Attack! The late great Charlton Heston, after he was elected to an unprecedented third term as the president of the National Rifle Association, called on the membership to get involved in the upcoming 2000 presidential election (Full disclosure, I’m a life-time member of both the NRA and the Texas State Rifle Association). Moses called on NRA members to serve their “third term.” Recruit one more member, get another person registered to vote, get one more person to the voting booth, write one more check. And that is what is needed now.

The thought of Joe Biden (actually the man behind the curtain (believed to be his chief of staff Ronald Klain, I personally think it’s Obama) calling the shots) with no restrictions is a nightmare too horrifying to contemplate. Trillions in unfunded spending on top of a “budget” (if you want to call it that, we haven’t had a federal budget in over a decade) with hundreds of billions of dollars out of whack. The US bending over to give Iran the fast track to nuclear weapons. Destroying US industry by way of bureaucratic dictates. The end of American energy.

However you can support the GOP, support it. Start from the ground level, support your local critical candidate. If that’s a house or senate candidate, send them a donation directly (don’t waste your money with the national campaign committees). Be a precinct chairman. Volunteer to serve as precinct observer for the local party. And vote, early. Bring a friend or family member. Use early voting, don’t wait and find out on election day your voting location was moved. If you must hold your nose and pull the lever for a RINO, do it. Look at what can happen if with the last two years of Obama’s third term, without any restriction. That should terrify any sane person.

In 2016, I said I would vote for a passed-out crack head in Houston’s 3rd Ward to keep Mrs. Bill Clinton out of the Oval Office. It was that important. We have now reached that level of terror with the Congress. Don’t forget that over the next six weeks.

C’Mon, Man! Hunter Biden wasn’t even running in 2016.

  2. Bottom line is to support the Republican candidate, and make him or her live up to what they campaign on. I know that with a majority House and senate, all we can do is wait and see, but we can’t allow this current situation remain.
This is just the battle facing us. The ones in the future will be determined by this outcome, first.
