Right-Hearted, Wrong-Headed Racism; Culturally cleansing all things Confederate and Southern in sympathy for Blacks suffering the sins of slavery, segregation and racism feeds the new racism of CRT. Eventually, the witch-burning hysteria of hatred for all things Confederate will collapse with all of Cultural Marxism. Until then, it’s the duty of good-willed Americans to educate their fellow citizens to historical correctness and basic truthfulness.
Happy Confederate History Month! Or, as I prefer, Happy Southern History Month. The 4 year War for Southern Independence is a turning point, not the summation, of Southern history. More on that in other writing. Every aspect of Southern culture – history, politics, literature, music, religion, food, family – is taught in famed universities, because it is a real thing.
I saw a news piece about a video shown in a 6th grade classroom in Florida. Supposedly, it referenced the bravery of soldiers fighting for Southern Independence. The suburban Moms are having vapors. And, I’m shocked. Not by the ignorance and bias of some parents half my age, but that a historically correct video exists. Where’s it found? I’d like to see it.
Here in Virginia, the historical commission is busy with its Inquisition now that it got the Republicans to cave in with the slight push back against Dr. Anne McLean’s truth telling and historical correctness. It wasn’t enough to strip Monument Avenue in Richmond of magnificent equestrian statues or move the simple soldier remembrances in many county and city squares.
No, every historical battle marker, in the state that had over 2k combats, needs to add some nostrum about slavery or CRT to make it properly woke. Meanwhile, the Feds are afoot to pull up the awesome monument to the Confederate dead in Arlington Cemetery.
It’s not surprising that the Democrats, who are Human Secularist Totalitarians or simply Commies and Leftist Bullies, want the utter destruction of all things Confederate. For 30 years its been a fund raiser and raison d’etre for the NAACP and Democrats. It’s much easier to appeal to emotions with racial identity politics than actually solve the social pathologies of black communities.
And, the Bitter Left Bullies hate Southerners as the bulwark that stands in their way to fundamentally change America. They hate us. They hate their version of our heritage and insist we do the same. And, they actually hate our dead.
Consider those young men for a moment. The Confederate deaths were 10 times the losses the whole US suffered in WW II (.036:.003 of the population). Those horrible losses were grossly underestimated by lousy and destroyed records.
The South suffered more than 10 times the loss the whole US remembers so well and with so many monuments today.
However, there are no conversations about war memorials with a Commie. They’re as convinced of their self-righteousness in Critical Race Theory as any Bolshevik agreed with killing kulaks and any Nazi knew Untermenschen had to be exterminated.
It’s the historically ignorant and mis-informed, truly dis-informed American public and spineless elected Republicans who need to know what the war on our Confederate dead means. They suffer from a right-hearted desire to not offend Blacks because they listen to the perpetually, professionally offended race pimps.
For educated and, for the most part older Southerners, tearing down monuments and desecrating memorials to war dead is an insult without immediate redress.
Yet, the Commies are playing into the Devil’s hands.
They promote emotion; especially hate, ignorance, and bias over reason, empiricism, rationality, history and science, logic, good judgement, common sense, and Bible teachings.
And they will overplay their hand, as bullies always do. When they glorify the violence of their boys with man buns against inanimate objects, they undo good will. They’ll push too far.
Eventually, their actions breed resentment. Resentment creates grievances. Grievances, when provoked, lead to excesses. Excesses cause great harm. Harm sows new seeds of resentment. Resentment creates grievances…
While self-hating Southerners is a new thing, the remaining majority of Southern Culture bends towards pride, independence, and freedom. Self-abasement is counter to Southern Culture.
Consequently, as Southern Culture molts itself from a Confederate identity – created in the multi-generational, centennial chrysalis of poverty and self-reliance after the devastation of deliberate destruction and Occupation’s theft – to a multi-ethnic Christian identity, the South may rise again quite differently.
The South will crush Cultural Marxism. Sooner or later. The South will never surrender to the Human Secularist Totalitarians who currently control the institutions which shape American Culture and Civilization. The South and allies will conquer those institutions or build better ones.
Southerners should begin raising consciousness of their rightness against Cultural Marxism Confederate genocide with dramatic monuments to Union War Crimes on private land in sight of key interstate highways.

Bravo, Mr. Bowden! The fact that the winners write the history books has never been more evident than in the treatment of the Confederacy, the post war South, and current treatment of statues honoring our Confederate dead.
I have written on this I’ll-treatment many times and I do my best to educate my grandsons on the true history of the War Between the States. I tell them it was not a Civil War, but a war to separate from an oppressive government, bent on enriching northern businesses by oppressing the agriculture of the Southern states, & that protecting slaves meant nothing to the average Confederate soldier.
Tearing down statues honoring these brave men is absolutely disgusting to me. And republican presidential hopeful nikki Haley, led the charge when she was governor in South Carolina.
The South suffered terribly during the WBTS, and was treated horribly in Reconstruction. We are in the second reconstruction now, for what are the enemy trying to do but reconstruct us again.

Few folks who aren’t Southerners know how much the War and Reconstruction devasted the South. All they learn is that slavery was ended and the KKK enforced segregation – a cartoonishly simple and wrong recounting.
When the value of money goes to zero, the only thing people have is any gold or silver coins they have and the value of real property – land, animals, tools. So, the entire South had to build up the economy, create capital and savings, one annual cash crop at at time. One tiny profit, in good years, at a time. It condemned 3 to 4 generations of grinding poverty for over 90% of the people – White and Black.
Furthermore, the carpet baggers and scalawags stole everything they could get their hands on. W.E.B. DuBois noted in his study of one Georgia county in the 1890s how most of the land was owned by people who didn’t live there. They all lived up North or overseas.
Gotta build those monuments to Victims of Union War Crimes.
