America is the leader of the free world. This has been the statement since the end of World War II. The US leads the free countries of the world. It was a fact through the years of the Cold War, up until about the end of the 20th century.
But its no longer true. Its not that the US doesn’t lead the part of the world that was called the free world. Its that the ‘free world’ is no longer free.
I know that sounds outrageous. Surely Europe is free. And Britain and Canada and Australia. And even Germany now. But they aren’t.
The absolute core of freedom is the right to freedom of speech. Without the right to say things people hate, you don’t have freedom at all. In every country except the United States, there are now ‘hate speech’ laws. And hate speech is defined, once you get into the details, as talk that offends someone. If you point out, for example, that LGBTQ+ people are prone to mental illness, you are committing hate speech. Despite the fact that the data makes it clear that its true, about 40% of the LGBTQ community is mentally ill. That of course is the most important point of those hate speech laws, it doesn’t matter if what you say is true. If it offends someone it can be considered hate speech.
In Germany, it was hate speech to question Angela Merkel’s immigration policies. In Britain, its hate speech to refer to a Muslim as a Muslim. In Britain, there are Muslim criminal groups that kidnap young girls, rape them, and traffic them. When the police started going after these groups, the police were attacked because they were stereotyping Muslim criminals as Muslims. The term is now Asian evidently.
In Australia you can’t say bad things about the dictator of China. In Canada, the hate speech definition is even broader, and is routinely applied against politicians that Justin Trudeau dislikes.
And we saw the consequence of all this during the COVID lockdowns. The science really was clear from the start, lockdowns and masking did not work. The WHO had done studies on the subject, and the data was freely available. But these no-longer free countries implemented draconian policies that imprisoned their own citizens in their homes and even questioning the policies was illegal under hate speech laws.
Of course, even in the US, Facebook and Twitter were used to spread government disinformation about the efficacy of lockdowns and masks, and when the falsisty of the government claims were pointed out, Facebook and Twitter routinely called factual statements ‘misinformation’.
But how did this start? Well, its simple. It started with taking away the guns. Yes, the guns. Look at the history. At their core, the little dictators are complete cowards. They are afraid of people standing up for their rights. So first they disarm the people so the most serious resistance against dictatorship is impossible. The people are disarmed gradually, for their own good.
It started with automatic weapons, which actually seemed reasonable. But then they moved to semi-automatic weapons, and then handguns. That’s how it works in every country. First, they make it illegal to produce them. Then they become illegal to buy. Then they become illegal to possess, and if you have one you are a criminal.
It happened in German, in Britain, in France, and in the rest of Europe.
Now the (not so closeted) closet Nazi in Canada, Justin Trudeau. is preparing to confiscate every remaining semi-automatic firearm in Canada. Trudeau is the classic example of a dictator. A true authoritarian, elected by a minority of the country. And elected only because his daddy handed off his political machine to his son. I give you a warning Canada, you are well on your way to a full-scale dictatorship if you don’t free yourselves soon. There is no problem with criminals committing crimes with guns in Canada. But Trudeau has been ruling by decree since the start of the COVID crisis. And he is terrified of losing control. Taking away guns is a predictable step on the path to dictatorship. Vote him out soon because it won’t be long before he cannot be voted out. Because you won’t really be voting.
Australia is lost. Firearms were confiscated decades ago, political dissent is suppressed, especially when it criticizes China, and the elections are just two sides of the same coin. No party in Australia actually has any different views than the other party, its just a question of how extreme they want to be. In Australia, the fairy tale of climate change has become a driving force, and their entire economy will be in the toilet in just a few years, ripe for the Chinese takeover as China has planned for several decades now.
The free world is no longer free. Those who we though were allies have completely lost their ideology and drive. The US still has freedoms, but they are under attack. And as in other countries, they are going after your guns first. When your guns are gone, your right to speak will disappear right afterward. Because in the US, as other countries, those who want your guns are cowards who fear the strength of truth

Tom, this is just as true right here with the West Coast GOP’s–the only choices we get here in WA because of Rockefeller Wing-Soros-McCainite entrenchment in our state GOP’s is “Hard Left or A Little LESS Left,” and in Oregon it’s so bad that an ex-D is actually running to the RIGHT of the R. (For a long time, Machinegun Betsy Johnson was about the ONLY friend gun owners had in the Oregon Legislature, it’s worth noting.) And let’s not even get into CalGOP with its pair of Klownshoes Kevins…
