Editor’s Note: although this site is mostly about civics news and education, we understand that while it’s important to promote conservative values, it’s also crucial to provide detailed examples. this article is one attempt at that.

Process vs Goals: How to Master Success; Goals are result-oriented. Intentions are process-oriented. Goals tend to be external achievements. Processes tend to be internal commitments. Goals help us move toward a compelling future. Processes help us work on “here and now” in the present. Both are needed for achievement.
It’s reflexive to think that achieving a goal requires a person to always think and talk about it. To most, this fallacy comes at the price of procrastination, losing valuable time, and thus producing mediocre work. Quality usually requires time and effort.
One, therefore, finds that people who can’t stop thinking about the reward make it harder for themselves to reach it as they unconsciously take the longest route, fail, and then blame everything except themselves. Greed works against them.
This isn’t to ignore the power of the imagination nor the desire in motivating one to achieve a goal, only that it’s rare for people to balance the two: the process and the end goal of what you want.
Wisdom, then, is realizing that it’s not bad to make things easier for yourself. As the old saying goes, “Work smarter, not harder.”
Focusing on what intrigues you, taking a long view toward a goal, finding a systematic approach to its realization, to the point of almost losing yourself in the details just to create good work…
making everything you do revolve around spending more time on your craft or fueling its ascent, will inevitably lead to success even if you never spent more than a few minutes a day thinking about it.
This process may take ages, and to many, it often means that you can’t depend on this goal for your sustenance at this moment as it’s still neonatal if this is something that you are planning on making a living off of. Thus one will often do some menial tasks, live below means, and find time within constraints to serve this purpose.
Another fatal mistake is losing sight of the end goal while deep in the process. One finds that the scope of attention or energy meanders into the black holes of distractions and divergent missions, leading to wasted days, depression, and even the emptiness of a lack of progress.
Compare that chilling coldness to the confidence, delight, and excitement of moving an inch closer to a vision. Looking back and seeing that every struggle you endured is finally making sense. Seeing all the ways you can leverage what you’ve learned as you go forward.
As you manifest your desire for achievement and balance regarding processes and goals, follow these basic five principles:
- Clarify your desires and set clear goals
- Cultivate a positive mindset
- Take inspired action regularly and seize opportunities
- Practice gratitude and visualization
- Let go of doubt and TRUST THE PROCESS
Designing your path to achievement isn’t about luck or a secret formula. It’s about understanding your core values, setting clear targets, and adopting daily habits that align with your vision. It all boils down to time management and setting priorities. Make the most of your time and work towards your goals. You will eventually find success
