Food

I saw this picture recently on the Internet, and it got me thinking.

A lot of fascism has been foisted on citizens with the collusion of we the sheeple over the years. Often this fascism comes under the guise of promoting the “general welfare,” but it always comes with erosion of cherished and divinely granted freedoms. The Constitution only permits the federal government to encroach on lives in a very specified way and those not specified are prohibited under the 10th Amendment. One of the few things that the government – any government – must do is to ensure that no matter what else happens, the nation can feed itself.

Yet, recently, we have allowed fascists like Bill Gates and China to purchase Smithfield meats, steal our agricultural industry, and take over farmlands all over the country – and often located next to military bases – and other means of feeding ourselves. In the meantime, the government has threatened to put the untested and harmful COVID poison into farm animals. If you won’t comply with the fascist edicts of the state, they will put it into your food supply.

Until recently, I never bought into the organic food craze. In many cases genetically modified food is better and safer. Genetically modified food may be healthier than cross breeding as scientists have more control over the modifications. I have been amazed during the COVID hysteria how many people who want non-GMO food were content to let an untested vaccine turn their bodies into a GMO. This is particularly curious as we’ve learned that appropriate tests and studies were never conducted and that the vaccines are neither safe or effective.

Our agricultural industry is rapidly becoming the property of a few large corporations in the same way that most American companies are now owned by just three investment banks who owe their allegiance not to the American people, our nation, or our Constitution but to their woke, globalist taskmasters bent on the destruction of the US. Our ruling elitists are making me a proponent of organic food, despite its shortcomings, because (hopefully) it won’t be loaded full of experimental substances directed by the ruling elitists or fascist organizations like Black Rock, Vanguard, and State Street and their warped DEI agenda.

My grandmother did a lot of canning. She kept the whole family supplied with canned vegetables and fruits. Her pantry looked like the picture at the top of this article. It was years after she died before I finished my last jar of canned tomatoes. I am nearing retirement. We purchased enough land to plant enough crops to be self-sufficient. Before embarking on farming, I plan to purchase organic vegetables and try my hand at canning.

I once thought that if your house was paid off, you had very low financial risk. Recently, I have come to believe that we must all secure our food supply, which may be controlled by unscrupulous and selfish globalists. That is likely the larger risk than shelter.

  1. I’m starting to think those Big Three need a good hard Sherman Antitrust Act curbstomping in tandem with a RICO one… but that’s a “tomorrow” problem and ensuring your own food supply is a “today” one.
