After the Blue Cities Commit Suicide, What’s Next?

I was watching the old Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum movie Independence Day recently. I thought the imagery described perfectly what we’re seeing in blue cities today. In the movie, a couple of dozen alien ships (of the extraterrestrial variety) arrive unexpectedly, take up stations over the world’s largest cities, and commence a countdown. When the count reaches zero, the ships fire their directed energy weapons into the center of each city. The attack creates an outwardly expanding firestorm – like a tsunami of fire. As the ring of fire expands, the urban centers are left destroyed and lifeless. Then the alien ships move on to their next assigned cities, and begin the process over again.

That was entertaining science fiction. What we are currently experiencing is quite real – and not the least bit entertaining. The ships have arrived over our blue cities piloted by a violent race of ravagers known as the Social Justice Warriors (SJW).

However, the SJW doesn’t use directed energy. They use directed propaganda, and their weapons are already engaged. Their attack is disturbingly simple. They use a combined arms cocktail of media, academia, and community activists to burn misinformation into the brains of their targets. With a constant din of

• Climate justice,
• Racial justice,
• Sexual justice,
• Economic justice, and
• Moral relativism.

They make their targets believe what would otherwise be beyond belief. Their victims come to accept that all intersectional groups are entitled to equity in schools, athletics, employment, wealth, and criminal justice regardless of individual talents or behaviors.

Their victims learn that science is an illusion, and that perception is reality. That sex, the essence of life, and the physical world around us is whatever we choose it to be.

Their targets come to believe that morality is a human construct. It is neither rooted in good nor evil. It is simply whatever is required to advance any of the subcategories of justice.

The targets are conditioned to accept that the yearning for freedom and individuality is an affliction, which must be “cured” for the welfare of the commune and the planet.

And finally, the most destructive brainwash of all. The humans of urban Earth are convinced that a will to survive, is a sin against the collective and the planet. The impressionable humans are convinced that they have no right to either prosperity or life.

After launching their propaganda torpedoes, the SJW aggressors simply sit back and watch the ever-expanding ring of destruction, as the targeted populations start the social justice fires which only die once all civilization they can reach, is consumed. The expanding fire only stops when it hits a firebreak – an area devoid of humans willing to accept the narrative. Then the SJW move their ships to their next assigned targets, and start the process over again.

We see the aftermath of the assault in cities like Newark, Detroit, and Chicago. Once beautiful cities, which chose to commit suicide, and whose fires have turned vast swaths of their territory into virtual no man’s lands. Their populations were convinced that it was socially just to empower the criminals and restrain law enforcement. They turned their own citizens into the walking dead with free access to narcotics. They crashed their social safety nets by overloading them with illegal aliens – of the terrestrial variety. They pitted tribes against tribes, and children against families. They sacrificed individuals for the collective, and corrupted free markets to usher in destitution. And finally, they barred God from the public arena.

Now, with the destruction nearly complete, the SJW have moved their ships over San Francisco, Minneapolis, and New York city. As they complete their work over each city, the people of urban centers are driven to

• Replace truth with narratives,
• Promote unrest in the streets,
• Destroy societal norms,
• Cast their communities into destitution,
• Dismantle social support systems, and
• Eliminate faith and hope.

In the end, everything which makes our cities great, will fall victim to the flames of chaos, consuming everything as they expand outward:

• Faith in the almighty,
• Individual liberty,
• Families,
• Education,
• Capitalism, and
• A shared sense of community.

Those with the means to leave ahead of the destruction, are taking flight to political sanctuaries. Individuals are leaving and taking their wealth with them. Employers are leaving in response to economic realities – accelerated by COVID lockdowns and enabled by technology. Merchants are leaving in response to the unsustainable burden of crime – leaving the remaining consumers with nothing to consume. The skyscrapers – architectural testaments to the former greatness of the cities – are emptying and stand derelict.

With those losses, also go the restaurants, museums, theaters, clubs, and entertainment – robbing the cities of their urban culture. The cities are left with no cultural attraction, no source of goods and services, no employment opportunities, and no order. Then they die, leaving behind a wasteland of decaying infrastructure, predators, and prey.

City residents were convinced to experiment with social justice, and now their homes burn – as anyone familiar with history knew they would. Unfortunately, we stopped teaching the history of socialism at about the same time the SJW parked their ships overhead – which is probably not a coincidence.

Detroit is an illustration of what cities become after a headlong rush towards social justice. It is a city of abandoned ruins surrounded by relatively prosperous suburbs – which will continue to thrive until they too draw the fire of the SJW.

As city after city is consumed by the ravages of social justice, refugees will flee to the relative safety of areas held by the resistance – the red states. We know propaganda loses its potency over time. It must be believable to work. But eventually it can’t be sustained when it becomes too disconnected from reality. The question is whether the propaganda will lose efficacy before the flames it creates destroy everything.

Where will it end? Will America become a landscape of free men, pockmarked by barren craters where the once great blue cities once stood? Or will the blue city destruction expand like malignant tumors, until they merge and completely consume their host? The outcome probably depends on what we do to erect fire breaks – zones where the propaganda doesn’t work.
