Those who know me know that I enjoy “mixing it up” with leftists in sites which they tend to favor, including “The Hill,” “PBS News Hour,” and others. ( I used to enjoy debates on “Occupy Democrats,” but they blocked me in 2022.) I regularly post a series on my Facebook page entitled “My Adventures with the Left.” I am currently up to Part 34 of such posts. This is but a partial list of the various “truths” promulgated by the leftists who believe that solipsism is a valid substitute for syllogism:
1 There are more than two genders.
2 Native Americans have a different concept of gender and gender is a “Western construct.”
3 Gender is fluid. People must use someone’s preferred pronouns or be fired and permanently cancelled.
4 Sex and gender are not the same-and if you don’t accept that, you failed Biology.
5 A fetal heartbeat is never a sign of human life because “it is just a clump of cells.”
6 Critical Race Theory is NOT being taught in schools, anywhere, but we can’t have bans on teaching Critical Race Theory because, you know, it’s racist.
7 The Florida Parental Rights in Education Law really does say teachers “can’t say gay.”
8 The Florida Parental Rights in Education Law is not necessary because there are no instances of small children being told they might be of a different gender.
9 George Washington was a fascist.
10 Anyone who disagrees with the Left is, by definition, a fascist AND a racist.
11 Alexandria Occasio-Cortez is smart because she has a college degree.
12 Pornographic and age-inappropriate books should not be “banned” by local school districts, but the Bible should never be allowed because it has examples of…and encourages… child marriage, rape and “grooming.”
13 Children should be banned from attending church for the above reasons, in order to “protect” them.
14 The Koran should never be banned from schools because, you know…the “Religion of Peace.”
15 CNN and MSNBC are “real” news organizations, but Fox News is “Faux News.”
16 Censorship on social media platforms is okay because they are “private companies.” but Elon Musk has no right to fire employees who don’t follow new policies not to censor.
17 Joe Biden is “fixing the mess” left behind by Trump.
18 January 6th was an “armed insurrection,” but BLM/AntiFa riots in 2020 were “mostly peaceful.”
19 White supremacists are the greatest threat to US security, second only to Climate Change, which is 100% the fault of Americans.
20 AntiFa thugs are true “Anti Fascists,” and anyone who disagrees with them IS a fascist.
21 Black Lives Matter uses its money to do great work in the Black community.
22 White nationalists are responsible for setting all the fires during the 2020 “Summer of Love.”
23 There really WAS a “Summer of Love.”
24 Leftists doxing and issuing death threats to conservatives on Facebook does not violate “community standards,” but a conservative telling a leftist “You are simply not good at this.” is “bullying” and merits a 30 day suspension.
25 The government asking social media to remove posts that disagree with the approved COVID narrative is okay because, you know, disinformation…and you are NOT a scientist.
26 Joe Biden is articulate and really in control at the White House.
27 Republicans support Putin.
28 The reason Putin never invaded Ukraine while Trump was president was because “he knew Trump was going to let him do what he wanted after he got re-elected.”
29 The Steele Dossier was real, but the Biden laptop story is “Russian disinformation.”
30 If you oppose ballot harvesting, you are favoring voter suppression and are therefore a racist.
31 If you support voter ID and election security measures, you are a racist.
32 Persons of color are unable to obtain government ID to vote, even though they need it to fly on airplanes of apply for Social Security because, you know, the “racisms.” If you dare to challenge the fact that most persons of color HAVE drivers’ licenses or other forms of ID, you are a racist.
33 Joe Biden’s energy policies are not responsible in any way for higher gas prices.
34 Trump really did “collude” with Russia to “hack” the 2016 election, even though the Mueller Report said otherwise because “Trump was not exonerated by Mueller.”
- Polls that show Biden’s shrinking approval ratings are fake.
- Polls that show minority voters are turning away from the Democrat Party are “Russian disinformation” from Faux News.
- Saint Thomas Aquinas and Adolf Hitler are equally evil.
Based on such conversations, I have come to believe the following:
- Leftists are mentally deficient.
- Leftists are emotionally incontinent.
- Leftists are intellectually lazy.
- Leftists are morally bankrupt.
